Qwertyuiop Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 First post. Please be gentle. My particular interest is in thigh-high boots - looking at them and, with any luck, wearing them (in private). I'm not particularly interested in dominatrix-style boots, the PVC ones with the pointed toes, but more fashionable models, along the lines of Christian Louboutin Gazolina or Unique 140 or even TopShop's Barley2 or Bunny2. Unfortunately, I'm a men's size 10½ UK, which puts me at quite a disadvantage. I can just about squeeze into a 9 (it's not like I'm going to be walking in them) but even that's proving impossible to find. Any suggestions? Is it possible to stretch a size 8 boot into a size 10? Are there companies that do knock-offs? All advice gratefully received.
at9 Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Welcome to HHP. Have a look here: http://www.italianheels.com/index_en.shtml I have a pair of their "Amanda" in EU44/UK10, actually a little large on my EU43/UK9 feet. Very nice quality, fully leather lined. If money is no problem I'd be trying http://jean-gaborit.com/en/ While one HHP member has reported problems with them, several HHP members have nothing but praise for them.
legs777777 Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Hello and welcome Qwertyuiop, hope to hear more from you soon.
Qwertyuiop Posted December 28, 2011 Author Posted December 28, 2011 Mmm, the Italian site is one I hadn't come across before. Thanks for that, at9 (I've come across the Jean Gaborit one before). It's just a pity the styles featured on either site aren't more in line with my own preferences. What I'm after is something like this: http://m.milanoo.com/?module=thing&action=item&id=131092 or this: http://www.heels.com/womens-shoes/wow-za-black.html or, best of all (and wiping the drool off my chin), THIS: http://www.mycolorfashion.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/29/Christian-Louboutin-Unique-140-leather-boots.jpg As you can see, the shape of the sole and the heel is a big part of the turn-on. And they've got to go over my knee. I feel so frustrated. Can boots be stretched a size or two? Is there a way of making them (just about) fit?
Guest Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 with all due respect Qwerty, worst of all last page came back "page not found" so its kind of hard to know without a pic of them-not your fault ofcourse.
legs777777 Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Hi. I see what you mean with the last one, they must be the sexiest pair of boots I have seen, My legs would need to be much longer to wear them.
ilikekicks Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Can someone grep the last pic and post it here? It doesnt show for me as well REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.
Tom-NL Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 (...) best of all (and wiping the drool off my chin), THIS: http://www.mycolorfashion.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/29/Christian-Louboutin-Unique-140-leather-boots.jpg Like others have already said, that link doesn't show the boots. It looks like that website does not allow to link to pictures directly. So instead try visiting this page. The first picture is the one meant above.
Qwertyuiop Posted December 29, 2011 Author Posted December 29, 2011 Tom-NL to the rescue! Apologies all. Another CL pair for which my feet are sadly much too large. I would never die for footwear, but I'm prepared to be quite ill for these: http://www.gianmarcolorenzi2012.com/759-4820-large/christian-louboutin-gazolina-black-leather-over-the-knee-boots.jpg

Qwertyuiop Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 Someone's offering a pair of size-nine Barley2s on eBay. I'd be prepared to squeeze my 10.5 feet into them, but £299.99 is just taking the mickey.
