aaq_2012
Anyone know where Gio Hel over the knee boots can be found at? they used to be on ebay through a seller - no longer available. Anyone have information? Here is a pair that was on ebay of the style I like to get my wife. Ideas here? Not sure why it is so hard to find nice boots or why these designers come and go so quickly. http://i.ebayimg.com/00/$(KGrHqIOKjYE2KBR1t72BNzCV0ttuw~~_3.JPG
zetex
why these designers come and go so quickly. Because there is no designer behind those brands. In the Marche region of Italy there are lots of shoe manufacturers. The shoes are pretty classic with an extra inch of heel to make them "designer-like". Buy 1000 of them and they'll put whatever you want on the sole. So you can create your designer label and sell the shoes on eBay.

vinheel
Hi, i have shoes from this site, the insole is from Gio Hel. http://stores.ebay.fr/settimocielo
zetex
Notice the brand: "D.Renzi". As I said above, you can have whatever you want printed on the sole/insole. So, if there is a known brand called "Di Renzi" and your name is Daniele Renzi, why not start an own brand called "D.Renzi". It is legal... even if a bit tricky. The shoes are beautiful. If you like them, buy them, but keep in mind a) they are NO designer shoes they actually cost about 30-40 EUR (the standard pumps)

I'd contacted them just the other day regarding larger-sized boots and any input on experience would be great. (This pair had caught my eye: http://cgi.ebay.it/D-RENZI-EXTREME-OVERKNEE-BOOTS-STIEFEL-BLACK-LEATHER-43-/270790111864?pt=Donna_Scarpe&hash=item3f0c593278)

jones4725
No problem with them. Nice shoes. Thanks very much, that's great to hear. I'm going to see what Daniele can do regarding larger sized boots and go from there. It's holiday time so the factory is closed down ... guess it will be a bit until I can move forward though. Haha. Thanks again.
