yozz Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Does anybody know more about the following? I am reading the book by Robin Lane Fox about Alexander the Great and it mentions in chapter 19 that the Persians had employed in civil service Medes, famous for their cosmetics, many colored trousers, earrings and shoes with high heels. (translated back from the Dutch translation) This would predate anything that we have discussed before about high heels and their origin. Y. Raise your voice. Put on some heels.
