They are an off-white color with a 3 inch heel (almost), and have tie up ankle straps. I wasn't really sure if I would like them, but after wearing them around for a while they look and feel great! I have usually worn thongs, these are the first non-thong type of sandals that I have tried. Anyone else enjoy espadrilles? SF "Why should girls have all the fun!!" I started wearing them in 1973 and this Bata pair still survives but I take good care of them In 1994 I bought a platform pair but they were less resistant to wear and although still practical, look too worn out. I also have a pair of straight platform espadrilles but hardly can wear flats lately so they are idle now. Be youself, enjoy any footwear you like and don't care about what others think about it, it's your life, not theirs.
