Took only a few seconds to rip the plastic off and look at the shoes and boots. Plenty of pointy toe shoes and boots but a few square toe boots also, and some with small platforms so they're not dead yet. A number of people are doing something similar, many, like this, with a little decorative strap and miniature buckle somewhere across the toe area. They are really nice like that. The sandals in the lower image have been a round for a little while. I think I have seen them in TK Maxx, and Faith might have something similar. Obviously Sasha already have them on display. I bet Julie would really look first rate wearing the sandals. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public. I agree that the pair shown would look better with another 0.5 to 1" but then again they would sell half the number to their particular clientel if they were higher, so if I were the designer/buyer, I know which look I'd be marketing.
