heelma Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 I guess the metal bar on those stairs is kind of tricky? Plenty of videos about this out on Youtube already, of course, such as:
pussyinboots Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 It's very easy to lose your balance on thick piled carpet - as the stiletto sinks in and leans over. If you're coming off a hard surface and don't expect it - woops!! "Good Girls keep diaries....Bad Girls just don't have the time...!:icon_twisted:"
bladerunner Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 my god what a figure! she can fall up my steps any day!lol great shoes...luckily no damage done it appears! broken toe????? I just love those suede heels!!!!!
Dawn HH Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 How can you break a toe while it is inside a high heel??? Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
heelma Posted March 14, 2010 Author Posted March 14, 2010 How can you break a toe while it is inside a high heel??? Cheers--- Dawn HH My guess is that it happened when her foot slipped out of those platforms. Google "Mylene Farmer breaks toe" and you'll find articles about the topic.
kikepa Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I've stumbled a couple of times in heels, once when the heel caught on the berber carpet while walking down the stairs. Never a problem on shag, though. Those who really care about us don't make a fuss about what we wear. Those who make a fuss about what we wear really don't care about us.
avidsiman Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 looks like the toe either got twisted or she stubbed it on the metal bar when she stumbled the 2nd time. doesn't take much to break a toe.
bigdrewski69 Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 its not real hard to break a toe, I hit the dinning room table with my big toe and could not walk for 2 days..
scrappycoco Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Note to self 1 make sure I look where I am going. 2 When walking up the steps, espc. one with thick carpet put just the ball of my foot on the step not the whole foot. Just my 2 cents. Just glad to see she only managed to break her toe and not her ankle.
