jwhite44 Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 For those looking for the experience of owning an wearing shoes with 6" heels, but don't have the budget to afford Louboutins or YSL Tributes, I noticed that bebe has a number of shoes all advertising 6" heels: Trish Sandal ($99 - $149 in leather) 6" heel 1.5" platform http://tinyurl.com/yd4yptj Aubrey Exotic Metal Sandal ($149) 6" heel 1.25" platform http://tinyurl.com/y8dnhvv Aubrey Exotic Strappy Sandal ($69 - $149) 6" heel 1.25" platform http://tinyurl.com/ydgop85 Talia Satin Double Strap Sandal ($129) 6" heel 1.0" platform http://tinyurl.com/ybse4ao Talia Sequin and Satin Sandal ($99) 6" heel 1.0" platform http://tinyurl.com/yhcako8 Claudia All-Black Snake Print Sandal ($129) 6" heel 1.25" platform http://tinyurl.com/y9nwtuw I have no experience with bebe products (and with their standard 5-10 sizes, never will), so I can't comment on the quality, looks, or feel of their shoes. However, in terms of "cost per heel height", they might be tough to beat. Besides their online store, they also have over 200 stores across the country, meaning you might be able to drive a short distance, and for $100, walk out with a pair of 6" heels. That's a pretty rare thing.
cheyenne Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Nice shoes but still a little too expensive for my taste.
pussyinboots Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 'Bebe' shoes are simply lovely - but they are on the pricey side I agree. "Good Girls keep diaries....Bad Girls just don't have the time...!:icon_twisted:"
roniheels Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Those are nice high heels, but still a little too expensive for me. I bought a pair of high heels with a 6.5" high heel and 1.5" platform for much less that any of those from Femme Fetiche.
troipattes Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 In fact you all are right, brand new Bebe shoes look great but expensive when bought on the official site. Anyway, you can find good eBay store that sell New-in-box Bebe shoes with more affordable prices, because some of themare sold-out on the official site... but not out of fashion ! I bought a few pairs to my girlfriend (Estelle Tortoise, Delaney Black, Amanda...) on eBay, and we never were disappointed : they look great, are comfortable and fit true to size. The eBay stores I use to shop in : Victoria's infinite rave Queen esther's Yourgot2have Deboutlets Wish a good shopping !
jwhite44 Posted December 16, 2009 Author Posted December 16, 2009 I forgot to post it last week, but on one of my "hot deal" emails, there was a link to a 30% off sale bebe.com was having. My guess would be if you're on their mailing list, you'd receive similar announcements. That might be enough discount to bring the shoes into a more affordable price range.
Guest Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Good find! I'll have to take my wife to that shop. I quite like these red ones too though it says they're not 6", I think it depends on how you measure it. They look very similar to the others if you ask me!
heelma Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 For those who are looking for something MUCH cheaper but still quite high: Payless has these so-called "Miss Puerto Rico" sandals, up to size 12. I usually wear Pleaser size 14-15, but those sandals in size 12 fit for me. They have a 3/4" platform and the heel is just a bit more than 5.5". http://www.payless.com/store/product/detail.jsp?skuId=073718110&productId=66450&subCatId=cat10285&catId=cat10088&lotId=073718&category=&catdisplayName=Womens+
