  1. malinheels!!! u da man!!!!! that's so awesome to hear..... must be loads more story from your eventful night out..... all I want to know is how many phone numbers you scored from the evening :) i so need to learn from both you and heelguy.....

  2. Mtnsofheels - good to hear you have managed to keep most of your collection (at least all the ones you want to keep :) It's sounds like i'm the only one on here who have trash heels due to guilt of doing something i shouldn't......

  3. congrats mesa...... i love putting petrol in the car with heels on.... but i normally do it a lot later at night than you have.... so power to you Mesa..... the fact that your GF was happy to go and buy heels with you is a great step..... sound like we'llbe hearing more about your heeling adventures here soon :)

  4. With that said, a larger frame would probably look better with larger feet though, proportions are so important.

i totally agree with you kaygirl.... i think proportion is the key.... a 6ft tall person wearing size 5 would look odd just as a 5 ft tall person wearing size 12 would look strange.... i think as long as the proportion is right, the heels should look fine.....

with that siad, if we are looking at only the feet/show and nothing else... i think a size 7/8 is probably what most shoe shpae is design to be the most pleasing to the eye......

  5. i have so many pairs of heels..... if i didn't feel guilty every few years and trash them (to charity)...... since my first pair of heels purchased, i probably had over 150 pairs of heels but at this current time i only have about 30 pairs.... (which is a lot as I haven't thrown any out for the past 6 yrs)...... thinking back, i just can't believe i have pass on all those heels and how i would love to have them back (some of them at least, there are a few that i don't miss that much :) just wondering how many pairs of heels you guys have own since you've discovered your love for heels and how many might you have trown out due to guilt/lack of space/updating your styles etc?

  6. i think a lot of us are in similar situation (ie for those with partner knowing but not aproving)..... it's kinda like the elephant in the room..... they know, they don't like it but they don't really say much about it..... i suppose my question is then, does it make it alright.... obviously my wife loves me and want to be able to accept it but cannot and thus feels that she can't say anything about it as if she does I may leave..... and all I want is that she accept it and that I can wear my heels in front of her and maybe even talk and shop together for shoes..... but somehow i know this will never happen.... but should i even try to advance it and try to get her acceptance or should I really accept that she won't accept it ... but then what? keep hiding and wearing heels when she's not around? the funny thing is that, my wife always ask me for advice for shoes (and all her clothes for that matter)..... she actually don't like shopping without me (and I actually like shopping with her)..... i just wish we can expand these trips to includes something for myself..... for me.... i hate the elephant in the room, but having the elephant here is better than being in separate rooms .....

  7. hey tiffany... i suppose it is no different to any public heeling for us guys who are not completely open with wearing heels... you have to plan ahead abit... even with having a car... i suppose you still think about where you are going and that the location somewhere you are comfortable with wearing heels and that you are not concern (or less concern) with people noticing you there..... i used to catch the train to work everyday and from time to time when i work back a little late, i often bring my heels in and wear them after work... walk to the train station, change 2 trains, catch the train for about 40minutes and then walk home from the station (10 minutes)..... the only reason why i was comfortable with doing this is that i know the location, route well and that i was comfortable with the time in which i'm at those location (that's not to say i wasn't scared/nerous about doing it)..... i suppose, the other way is that you can always have a bag with your heels and when you reach somewhere you are comfortable in getting into them then put them on there... and you can always change back to normal shoes if you feel the need to.....

  8. tech - i have to say (eventhough i'm ashame to admit it).... if i was hanging out with my mates and one of them is wearing something different to the norm (as in different to what they normally wear - or in the case of a stranger, different to what i expect them to wear), i would probably comment on it..... i'll probably make a quick joke and then say i like it (eventhough i may or may not :) but then that's just me.... I think most people cast judgement one way or another.... it's just human nature.... ulyssa - the fact that she didn't say anything about the shoe probably doesn't mean too much... she might feel that it is rude to do so (she might be facinated and interested in it but didn't want to be rude)... but the fact that you chatted, got along and having further meetings/dinner with her is probably the more important factor..... she obviously doesn't have strong feelings against male wearing heels and obviously found something interesting in you..... all the best and good luck ulyssa

  9. good luck with finding heels that fits..... i'm a 10.5-11 which is fortunate as most of the big stores have up to size 11 (target, bigw, myer - but not kmart).... it might be a little harder if size 11 was too small..... good luck and i'll keep a look out for you and let you know if i find any good place/stores for larger size heels

  10. i would love to be able to dress full feminine and i think i can pass as a female if i was spotted across town .... lol...... my face will never be able to pass but i think my figure may be able to trick a few people in dim light :)
