ShockQueen. I have a pair of knee high, 5" high heel boots that are rubber like. These are what I wear in the slush and snow. If I am out for a short time I will wear any of my others anyway. Mike

tradari. OK here is ol Mikie to the rescue. Listen up! Go to : Alternativeshoelaces: users,powernet.co.uk There is someone there who has devised some real HOT Leather shoe locks. I wear spurs with my 6" stiletto high heel boots. Trust me, you do not want to put chains anywhere near leather. The rotation of the foot couses damageing wear on the shoe/boot. You can get a print out of one of the pictures and have a leather worker make a set for you, or do it your self. Mike

loco1. Of the 4 color drawings you posted, I loved them all. However, If I were to choose a favorite color, It would be the Brown/ fade to dark Brown/Black. If they all were made in my shoe size (13 US ) I would buy all 4 colors. As you may remember, I also suggested you make and sell poster size prints of them. Best of luck. I never leave the house in anything less than a pair of 6" ,single sole, spiked heels. I do have a pair of Rockports in the car, In the event I get stranded or have to change a tire. I never worry about damageing the heels becouse I have a huge bath towel ( instead of a floor mat ) on the floor that protects my shoes. Also, I can replace the towel with a clean towel whenever. I have a walk-in closet in my bedroom. I custom built shelves in the closet. The shoes are arranged with the highest heels on the left and fallow the wall around to the lowest heels on the right. Colors not in any order. Heel height goes from 7 1/4" to 5" high, nothing lower. My boots are hung like clothes on the clothes rack under the shoe shelf. Same, Nothing under 5" heels. 95 % are single sole high heel shoes. Mike

Hello/Welcome jennashoes I am one of the least conservative members of HHPlace.You will eventually see me in some of pictures that have been posted here. I would say wear your high heel boots with a skirt or aynthing else you care to wear. Unless you are going to boarding school, you have the right to wear anything you like. Does self expressionism come to mind? It is against the law for the company to repromand you, lay you off or fire you, if you are properly attired. The most they can do is ask you to wear something else. Mike

Dr,Shoe What would he be working towards? Those were 8" heels w/ A 4" platform. That translates to the same as walking on a 4" heel, on a single sole shoe . I am sitting here typing this in a pair of 7" high heels on a single sole shoe. For a man you can't get much lower, if you want to consider he is wearing high heels. Mike

Well folks, The Canton, Ohio 2010 High Heel Meet is now history. In attendence were Kittyinboots & his Wife Heather, Steve63130, Radiodave, Johnieheels, Wobbles, and (I didn't get chain sawed) Spikesmike. Kittyinboots and wife had the longest drive. My first time meeting everyone there except Kitty (Chicago Meet) and Steve63130. We had a nice lunch at Ruby Tuesdays with lots of informal discussions. Joked and complemented each other on our shoes and the like. After we ate ,we took a few pictures of those who were not camera shy. Just looked at the picture that was taken on my camera of us in front of Ruby Tuesdays. It's great getting to look back at wounderful moments like these. After photos , we went our seperate ways. Everyone except Steve and I went to DSW to shoe shop. I got as far as a corner traffic light and decided to rejoin the group in DSW. I drove all the way from Columbus to Canton and thought I may as well spend a little more time with my new found friends. There was nothing in the way of shoes at DSW for me becouse they do not cary my size or heel height. We (I) did have fun talking to some of the clerks, as they were cureous about our attire. I suppose I stood out the most as I wore a Blue jean skirt, Thigh high, 6" high heel boots with spurs. Can't understand why anyone would notice. Kittyinboots did buy one pair of boots for Heather. When Heather checked out with her boots we did call it a day. I hope everyone had as good a time as I had. What a great day to meet and make new friends. Mike.

Trever. I am glad you got a chance to experience your dream. I Voted for the 2nd. Annuel High Heel Meet (2011) to be held in Las Vegas. If Iloveboots (or the powers to be) determon Vegas is the spot, then maybe you will get a second shot at your dream. A decision will have to be made soon. Do you hear me ( powers to be)? Charlie. Thank you for the reply. I looked on the Miguel Boot site and did not see a pair of boots advertised with a 5.5" high heel boot. I will look again. I will also go to one of the local western shops and try on boots so I know I get a correct fit. Thanks again. Mike

Charlie. The boots with the 5.5" heel, were those custom made by your request, or did they have them in stock? I have a high arch and a high instep. This shape of foot makes it hard to get my foot down the boot shaft into the toe. What size of boot do you wear? If I order a pair of cowboy boots will the boot maker put a spiked stiletto heel on the boot? What are thair limitations? I may go to a local western shop and see what type of boot will fit. Mike
