The little lacy bobysox look cute with heels, but I can never find them in my "BIG" feet size. I did find this place where I can buy LLLONNGG socks and other hosery which is prtty nice, and their prices aren't totally outrageous. Have bought many of their 36 to 40" long socks for winter wear with my boots. Here is the link if anyone is interested.

Another most of the day event in my Tight Long "GAP" jeans and my block heel 4" boots. Went from the home to base Exchange for a short shopping trip, then to the auto parts store for some parts for my truck, then to my parents place to drop off a few things, then home, picked up the family and loaded them all in the SUV and drove up to the mountains to enjoy the fall colors and saw some beautiful deer on the mountain gravel roads, then went for a walk with the kids down some trails to the edge of a swolen river, and back for a snack at the SUV. Then loaded them all back in for the drive home in time to have two families with kids over for dinner and then back to the store to grab some dessert, as we were having too much fun for them to leave, then back home for coffee and dessert. All the while wearing my jeans and boots, with hardly ever a glance. When I get in or out of a vehicle the heels Definitely show, and there were a few who saw me, and I saw them do a double take, but that was it. No comments, or frowns or anything. Over all a very good day, even if I did have to work early today from 0500-1000 and yeasterday 0500-1830 to be able to get the time with the family Oh well, hope everyone has a great weekend! TLAHHB

Love the outfit, and I know what you mean about San Diego, I lived there off and on with the military, and they have always open to just about anything. What style Seven jeans were you wearing? I like the style, as they appear to be a low rise boot cut pair. Thanks again. TLAHHB

Musiclover and Dawn, I know what you mean about the fit of girls jeans!! That is what kept me in them after I first tried. as well as the styles. I have tried the padded thing a few have spoke of, and it is nice to fully-fill the rear of the jeans. If I buy them small, then i do well at filling them, and looking very flatering in the front as well. But if I buy them so the waist is mor comfortable than snug, then I have a "skosh" or "wee bit" of room for some added padding. It all depends on where I am going and what I am doing. Can't let the girls have all the fun when getting ready to go out as far as looking our best, if not flaunting it a bit! If you all know what I'm getting at! But whether iy is padding in a larger size, or flatteringly tight in a smaller size, I love to look good in my jeans, and sometimes my panty lines even show!!! Thanks all for the input and stories. I just bought a pair of BKE jeans on e-bay, and WOW are they nice! Nice and low, and tight and longggg! Just how I like them!! That's all for now, TLAHHB

Dawn, I'm not sure I would have even cared at the time of the strike, but in the long run I think you couldn't have pulled it off smoother (is that a word?) Well good luck on your recovery, and happy healing/heeling! TLAHHB

Dougal, ALl I can Say is WOW!!! TLAHHB

As my signature says, I like them tight too. I recently bought a pair of jeans off e-bay that were stated as a 30" waist and a 38" inseam. Which alot of my size 8 and size 10 have been. But when I got them they were a size 4 xlong!!
Well I just had to see if I could get them on. I did get them on, and they go nicely with my boots, but I don't think I could sit for very long, ar do alot of moving around as they were VERY TIGHT!!!!
They were showing everything thru them. I will keep them for the very special occassion that I want really really tight jeans, but they are deffinitely not an every day pair of jeans as the circulation is rather minimal when wearing that pair!

Good point Jeff. I have been luck to never have that particular problem. I used to be the guy who was always walking around in "high-water" jeans as a kid because i was growing faster than my parents could afford to get me jeans... TLAHHB

Heeling while driving is always fun!!! I have even worn my 5" Sandles in my truck, which makes working the old manual clutch and brakes a little more interesting, but safe non-the-less! TLAHHB

Dawn, I agree that the Oxfords don't do a thing for me... TLAHHB

I wouldn't say it is a contest. it's more of a disadvantage for me, just think about how many more styles you get to buy and wear than I do, I have a very limited supply of items that fit me properly... TLAHHB

36" is my standard size to wear with regular boots. 35" is my standard with flats, and my 38"s are what I wear with my 3.5 and 4" boots, and there is still plenty of heel to show with the 38". I would have to find someone who makes a 40" inseam to cover 5" and not show much! TLAHHBs

RPM, The cars in GB are built very differently from our US cars. For instance, a 2L engine in GB= sports car!! THe Standard sized engine is a 1L. I about laughed at the insurance guy when I lived in Scotland and bought a 1976 Saab 99 with a 2L engine, and he told me that the insurance rates were much higher due to it being a sports car. I asked him if this was a sports car, what would it had been if I had brought over my wifes 1966 Mustang V-8, he just smiled and said that if I could afford the petrol(gas) I should be able to afford the insurance... If you don't shave your legs, and want a more "uniform" non-hairy look without shaving, get the opaque non-see-thru black, white or any color for that matter.
Here is a place I have ordered nylons and Long Socks from before, and Love her service!!!
Her prices aren't too bad, and her nylons for men actually fit tall guys very nicely. Hope this helps.

Like others have said, two is not enough, but the reasons are basically the same as already stated, so here they are Thighbootguy - Great stories, heels in public (probably) daily and stretches the limits. DawnHH - Always has a warm welcome for newbies and is a major player in keeping the threads rolling along here. He always has something meaningful or funny to say. TLAHHBs

Lindsey, You are right about the excitement when wearing items under your work clothes! It can get really scary sometimes when circumstances get you close to being discovered...... TLAHHBs
-
So who here has the longest inseam jeans? AND how tall of a heel can you wear with them? TLAHHBs
-
Keep the stories coming Thighboot guy!!! Love reading about your adventures in heeling!! TLAHHBs

Shafted, I agree with Dawn, You have a great advantage that your work place "allows" your heeling. Unfortunately with the military, uniform means UNIFORM. I have gotten away with 2" heel "logger style" work boots in uniform for work in an industrial environment, but that is the highes I've been able to get away with... TLAHHBs

I like the look of the 5" granny's, I just couldn't get away with wearing them in my neck of the woods.... TLAHHBs

I paid $210 USD for my custom made cowboy boots, tailor made to my feet, and they are worth every penny. But for other shoes and boots, I'ld say $60 is my limit too, TLAHHB

micha, THe jeans in the US measure the leg length in "inseam". The standard inseam leangths are short 30" medium 32" long 34" But for Gap and a few others they offer longer lengths, especially in their boot or flare cut jeans. Hope this helps, TLAHHB

I've visited Charleston before, and I agree 100% San Diego was a better climate for wearing just about anything any time of year, but here in WA state, you deffinitely have four seasons... TLAHHB
Corset and Ballet Heel Training Diary, new!
in Ultra High Heels
Posted
I have used corsets off and on over the last 4 years. I ordered my first custom corset from http://www.altered-tyme.com/custom%20corsets.htm
I ordered the bella style, and have since ordered 2 more as my waist size continued to drop.
Bella underbust
This is not me, and I ordered min in white silk so that I could wear it under my military uniform. I started out with a 34" waist and 36" at the hips, and now I am 31" waist w/o the corset and a 28" waist with the corset. I think this is the smalest I will go, as being 6'4" with a 28" waist is small enough, and it has already caused my lower ribs to have been "re-formed" smaller. This has caused some shortness in breath when doing real mans work or running/jogging. You definitely have to continue to work your body overall, becuase if you wear the corset almost continuously as I did over a 2 month period, you can train your waist down quickly, but can easily hurt your back or other things when not wearing the corset later, so take you time, and keep excercising your back muscles, as just like with wearing heels, you can shorten your tendons, with a corset you can cause your back muscles to atrophy, that can lead to lots of other back/ muscle and even spinal problems.
Good Luck ,and congratulations, but also be careful.
