  1. I havn't posted for a long time, but I still enjoy wearing my 3 1/2" heel Wester Ranch Cowboy boots. I have already had to have them re-soled once due to how many miles they have on them. Great boots, and I havn't had the $$ to have a new pair made by another custom shop, as Western Ranch is no longer around. Glad to see lots on new people, and quite a few seasoned veterans as well, Thanks TLAHHB

  2. I don't know about changing bodies, but I sure am glad more places are carrying 12 and sometimes 13 in heeled boots, they also have had some cute day-shoes that are androgenous enough for a guy to wear that have 2+" heels like loafers with waffle-soles and block heels. Just hope this isn't a fluke, and stops... TLAHHB

  3. It is nice to see large boot makers starting to carry more of a selection of Size 12 boots. Sure would like to see some of the Harley Boot style of heels make it to a size 12..... TLAHHB

Hey all just got these new boots out on order through Zappos, can't wait to get them. I have been deployed for the last 4 months, so unable to do much stree heeling, but now that I'm back, and I saw these great boots, I thought it would be the perfect time to get them, not to mention that they were on sale over 50% off and free shipping!!

    Have a great week, TLAHHB's

  5. WOW, 5 years, and not arrested or locked up! ;) Any way, I know about the jitters, and I still get a bit self consious, but it sure is alot of fun too, and I think as I wear my more slender heeled boots more, I find that they are easier to walk in than the block heeled boots, as the cracks in side walks and little pebbles are less likely to throw me off ballance. Any one else experience this between block heels and smaller diameter heels? Again Congratualtions Jeff, and Keep on Heeling!!! TLAHHB's

  6. I didn't particularly like the look either, but I figured that I'd try it out to see what others thought. Like I said I only go out in my jeans and heeled boots, or I go out in my kilt with sandles or even tennis-shoes, but I have not done skirts and heels outside of my home. In many ways I think I am just a better Jeans and heels guy than a skirts guy, though I will not give up my traditional kilt nor my utilikilt. TLAHHBs

  7. Here is another skirt with LONG black socks and my block heel shorties. Again, I wear the boots all the time with jeans, but this is t he first time I paired them up with this skirt.

I know my pics are not the greatest, but I'm using the mirror to get the shots of myself, as my camera doesn't have a timer...

Thanks again for the comments. If anyone is intersted in Super Long Socks (all the way to my crotch which is a 36+" inseam!) try www.sockdreams.com

    Thanks again, TLAHHBs

  8. Yeah, when I saw this pair of boots in Payless, I knew I wanted a pair, but the store I got them at only had an 11 and it fit, but that was in Pantyhose... So I went and asked if they had a 12, and she checked their locator, and said there was a pair listed about 30 minutes away, and if I wanted a stock check. I of course said yes! So she called the store, found them and asked if I wanted them held for me for up to 36 hrs. Again, I said yes and went to get them the next day. It was kind of fun, because at first they asked if I wanted to try them on, and I pretended to not hear, and that I was looking at other shoes and boots, but after I paid, I told her that I planned to wear them out. That was the best part of the whole outing I think!

Here is another shot of me wearing them...

Please tell me waht you all think!

  9. I went to a Payless shoe store and asked if htey had a pair of new boots in size 12. They didn't but said a store about 30 minutes away did, so they put them on hold for me. The next day, I drove to the shop with my kids in the car, and going to take them to dinner with friends. I was already wearing my 4" block heel short boots, but as I was looking to see what else they had in the store, the girl asked if I would like to try them on, and I at first acted like I had not heard her, but when I was paying for them and another pair of boots for my wife (buy 1 pair get 1/2 off second pair) I told her that I wanted to wear them out. She hardly batted an eye, but was definitely taken back at first, because she had some difficulty putting the shoe boxes in the bag... ;)

  10. Hi all,

I just got these boots, the last pair of size 12's in the state!

These are great street heeling boots, as I spent an entire evening at a restaraunt and a guitar center with my kids and a friend and his kids while our wives were out with a church group, and with my longish jeans no one batted an eye.

The next day my wife and the kids and I went for a long drive, and stopped by a very large mall, and took the kids in, had lunch at a really neat place (for kids) that was a Jungle theme, a few waitresses noticed my boots and pointed while walking by, but did not say anything, and we walked the whole mall, and stopped at several shops, and had a great day with no comments.

I will try to find a host to post the few pics I got of my in my long jeans and boots. See you all later, TLAHHB's

  11. I dont wear any heels but my boots out on the street, so socks is what I wear, as well as p-hose sometimes. If I were to wear pumps out for a date, the ones I posted would be my choice, but they are more like anklet's than socks. Just saw the thread and thought I'ld pass on my favorite on-line sock store. TLAHHB ;)
