  1. I have had a few pair of boots made over the years to be able to keep heeling. My current pairs are a Black pair of Cowboy boots with a 3 1/2 inch heel and my new pair of red and black Cowboy boots with a 4 and 1/8 inch heel. (See my avatar) I also wear them with long boot cut jeans, and with my normal need of a 36 inch inseam, finding the longer jeans sometimes is hard, but I have found inseams 37.5 real easy, 38 inch a little harder, and I have actually found a pair with a 39 inch inseam. You have to really look, and they will all be womens jeans. tightlevisandhhboots

  2. Sorry about that Fred, I gueas I jumped to the end of the thread instead of looking at the beginning. Is there a Moderator, that can just move my post and the replys to a new Heading, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Tightlevisandhhboots Heel hight at the back is 4 and 1/8 inches

  3. I have been wearing nothing but girls jeans for over 7 years now and I wear them to work (Womens Carharts Bootcut 10-36) and I have countless pairs of BKE 30x37.5, Lucky 10/30 xxl, Vigoss 30 xxl(39 inch inseam!!), Levis 518 30x38, and several pair of Truck 10x37 and 10x36 as well as Rock and Republic 10x37. Alloy Jeans has some great sales too, as well as Buckle. My latest pair of Cowboy boots that i had custom made have a 4 inch heel, and I got to wear my new Vigoss 30x39 jeans, and the hem cam just to the bottom of the heel while standing still. You could still see the heel when walking, but doesn't look to different than a regular cowboy boot until you look closer. Tightlevisandhhboots

  4. Well, I finally recieved my custom boots. Heel is just over 4 inches, not quite the 4.5 I had hoped for, but still ver nice!! He has a picture of them on his e-bay custom boot add, and I have taken a few and put in my album. Please let me know what you all think of them! Thanks, Tightlevisandhhboots

  5. It was five years ago this month that I took the extraordinarily bold step of wearing heels in public at the place where I work for the very first time. The shoes in question were a pair of black stack heeled loafers I bought from Payless, and I still remember how incredibly nervous I was when I stepped out the door and exposed myself to the world. The rest was history, having evolved from plain looking loafers to strutting about in spike heeled pumps and now, thigh high boots, perhaps the ultimate in public heel wearing.

Sometimes, I'm still amazed at my evolution, and the fact that I'm wearing heels in public at all, something I never would've envisioned before that fateful day in October 2000. And yet, here I am, having the time of my life! And being a member of this board helped immensely with my having become the person I am today! On top of that, people here actually look up to me because of my public exploits! That gives me a very warm feeling inside like you wouldn't believe. I'm proud to be part of this terrific community!

    Well, JeffB,

I can't believe that I will hit this same mark at the end of the month too!!! A few years after your B-day/H-day

WHat about others? Hol Long has it been for you????

  6. I purchased these recently and decided to do a few shots with them during a recent photoshoot. Not my normal style, but there again, these were done purely with the family friendly nature of this board in mind. They were purchased off ebay.de from Devilsworld007, and you can find a link to their shop in the internet retailers thread.

My only question for you richy, is that you or a friend that is in the pictures, cause you/they are hot!!!

    Beautiful Shoes-to-boot :chuckle:

  7. I'm wondering if patented leather is available any more? It seems as though the smooth texture that has been obtained with a vinyl material (synthetic leather) has been used in place of patented leather material, because vinyl needs less maintenance to keep the shine, and vinyl is less expensive. Of course, once vinyl is damaged your out of luck in the repairs. It's cheaper to buy another pair of heels.

I am unsure of traditional patent leather, but some shoe makers still offer "Shiney Leather" which is a highly polished and smooth calf-skin leather. I am currently having a pair of Cowboy boots made from this type of leather. I can't wait to see the finished product, but I'll have to since they will be made over the next few months.

  8. My every day wear for work is 2 inch boots and less, since I have to wear safety toe stuff for work. After work it would be tennis shoes for comfort, but for outings it is my 3.5" heel Cowboy boots. I have been out in a pair of 4.5 inch stilletto sandals last January while out of town for business in the Tacoma WA area, and while click-clacking around alone at the mall and at Target and a few other stores, had a few looks but no negative reactions. Have ordered a new pair of 4.5 inch heel Cowboy boots and hope to master those for the special outings, as they are definitely less conspicuous than stillettos, and while I love "heeling" I can not do it regularly in "non-male looking" shoes in the tiny town I live in, as it would be literally devastating for my family, so I am content with an occasional out of town "fling", and my Cowboy boots. 9. davek, Do you have that pic of the new boots? Would be interested in seeing it. My new 4.5 inch heel cowboy boots are a little more $$ ($265) but if he nails the design, they will be real showstoppers!! They will be Black with Black-Cherry accents in a shiney leather close to patent, but not quite. tightlevisandhhboots

  10. Miguel is really nice, and his english is pretty good, but don't get discouraged when you custom boots take a while to make. Mine took over 2 months, but they were worth the wait, and were exactly what I had specified. Pictures work better than words for him, so if you have any ideas, use words and pictures, and you will get exactly what you want! I was very happy! Good luck, tightlevisandhhboots

  11. Well mine I think is pretty explanatory. I live in tight levis and other tight jeans, and my main heeling is done in HH Cowboy Boots. Most if not all of my jeans are womens jeans, since getting a mens jean that is tight and form fitting for a 30 inch waist and a 36 to 38 inch inseam is tough, so I have found since Levis quit offering the "O-spin jeans (custom fit jeans) when I first signed up to the HHPlace, I now live in BKE, Lucky, Cruel Girl, and Carharts for women. THey all offer 36, 37 or 38 inch inseam jeans. My original HH Cowboy boots were Western Ranch 3 inch heel, that later I had another 1/4 inch added. I now have a pair of Jones Boots from Mexico that have a full 3.5 inch heel, and I am ordering a new pair from Jones Boots that will have a 4.5 inch heel and will be my first non-all-black boots. They will be Black with red or Black-Cherry accents. I'll keep everyone posted on those when I get them. Thanks! Tightlevisandhhboots

  12. These are my new boots that are actually Made in Mexico, but are of very nice quality. There are at least as nice as my Western Ranch Boots even though my Western Ranch Boots were actually tailor made to my feet, and these were just made by size alone. I wore these last night right after they arrived by UPS and they are very comfotable and fit very nicely right out of the box. The finish is very nice, though I will add a few coats of polish to help preserve the finish. But for the price I am EXTREMELY happy!

They are made by Miguel Jones, and his boots are listed on e-bay. I have just asked him to build me another pair with a 4.5 inch heel. It did take a few months to get my boots, so be patient with him, but the boots are FANTASTIC!!! Simple, yet elegant and are high heel, but don't look out of proportion at all to me. I hope you like the pictures that I posted above. There are 9 new pics of my new boots. I have not even added a layer of polish yet.

    His e-bay store is;

  13. I wish I could get away with platforms, but at nearly 6.5 feet w/o heels... 3 to 4 is all I can do without hetting my head on doorways etc... Some people have all the luck!!! Have fun!!

  14. Hi All, It has been eons since I was on the forum, but I recently found a guy in California who custom makes HH Cowboy boots. I have a piar of Western Ranch custom boots with a 3" high heel. I ordered a pair from this new maker since my WR Boots after two re-sole-ings are just about goners. The new pair will have a J-toe and a 3.5 inch heel. THey are in the mail, and when they arrive, I'll post some pics. But the maker already has some 4 inch heel boots, and just had a new "Last" made for Cow bOy boots with a 5.5 inch heel. When I have some more information I'll pass it along. Good Luck and Happy Heeling!!! tightlevisandhhboots

  15. I have done both, but when I can I really try to be at a store that I can try them on, since most boots and shoes fit differently between brands, and one 12 may fit, but another I might need a 12.5 or 13. If you can, try them on, and you will see that most shoe stores are quite positive to that. Hope this helps, TightLevisandHHBoots
