  1. Hello Everyone:

For those of you who have joined us recently I invite you to initiate a "search: JSpikeheels' for posts and threads to become familiar with a bit of background to support this contribution...

As many of you know I have "semi-retired' to a part-time level of work on an 'on-call" basis so I have gained the flexibility to wear spikeheels when I choose. One of the arrangements I made with my wife is that I would do the food shopping to free her from the less than welcome task of giving up the time to walk the aisles at some supermarket.

Of course that is just the excuse I was looking for...

this is style: (Pleaser) Seduce 1014 in size 12 and I spent over four hours in them Thursday afternoon in a total of three different supermarkets shopping at where certain places had special prices for various items on my list. I started out in jeans with a 32 inch length at the first store-as pictured above- then took home the frozen foods from that part of the trip, put them in the freezer, redid the list and headed back out to the two other stores I wanted to "hit"...

I've gotten comfortable wearing stilettos in public and I wanted to raise the stakes just a bit more so I changed jeans into a 30 inch length pair so the stiletto would show more-and here is a look at the cuff with the 30 inch hem...

it can be an absolutely wonderful...completely emancipated feeling to realize that 99% of people around just go on with their lives oblivious to what is happening right before their eyes; there is secret pleasure, too, in watching people's reaction to seeing my spikeheels and discovering that the ones who may disapprove won't say a word and the ones who do approve can't rush up fast enough to tell you how much they support and admire them and share that " special secret " with someone who has that special feeling for our spikeheels like we do..

...and that was just one day's adventure...

...be encouraged to get out and express yourselves and satisfy that need for spikeheels that you have.....

"Girly Heels?" aren't they all? lol

  2. Hey Everyone again:

...in my last post I said hello to you all once again...as I said, it takes time to regroup, reconsider choices and map out a plan...and I am back to enjoying the pleasures of freestyling...

...as I may have mentioned along the way I always worked toward the pleasures of wearing spikeheels in public with a certain special goal in mind:

... in my mind the perfect heel has always been a six inch boot or pump...five is a lovely comfortable height compared to a four it is not always easy to see if a five is higher...a six is an unmistakable statement when carried on a confident comfortable posture...

...here is a style that I want to be able to wear..these are just posed in one place in my kitchen but the goal is to wear them all the time..

    Posted Image

    Posted Image

...right now I need to practice to get to the point of being able to actually wear these to a Sam's Club or a Walmart or a restaurant...I'm good on a five but I want to go up one inch more...so how do I practice on a six inch heel...what's the quickest way to get comfortable in a six...

...ANSWER: practice on a higher heel...lol, lol

...just got these yesterday from Pierre Silber--EL-8260 in a size 13 is a full seven inches...just to stand in for about three minutes a couple times an evening..I don't plan to ever walk on these but just stand and stretch a few minutes at a time..

...then switch to a six and I can feel the difference...the knees are straighter the heel-roll-toe is easier to "heel-roll-toe" ...

    ---------------------------------------

..it's been a great life...and a great adventure...the day is not far off when I will have to give them up forever--I'll be sixty-two next week- but when the day comes I will have my memories and the immense satisfaction in recalling that-in this life- I actually "climbed the mountain" and did not just stand in the valley and fear what the clouds may conceal...

    comments appreciated

  3. as I have mentioned over and over again the whole lead-up to the sense of fashion freedom that encouraged my freestyling was a carefully constructed set of permissions and justification/perceived approvals in every aspect of my personal and professional life.....and, should anything disrupt those approval-conditions I would have to regroup and reevaluate the complete psychological dynamic that led me up to the "point-of action" before... ...for reasons I won't go into here I have changed contractors and will begin driving for a different company in a few days...I have no definite evidence that wearing a highheel had anything to do with the need for this sudden change but it does mean that I cannot discount the possibility that someone saw something he or she did not like and which led to a phone call which led to this change... ...so I now have to go back and define the guidelines for when and where not to wear heels-of course, I have to allow for the possibility that heels were part of the problem and that means no heels at all during business contacts...and what's left will have to be approached with caution... ---------------------------------- ...all along I have sensed that there might be risks associated with my behavior and I guess I shouldn't have been surprised but to be truthful the rush of pleasure like an addict on endorphins seemed to be worth the risk of -should I say "discovery"... ...the boots and heels are back in their boxes for the time being while I reassemble each part of my "expectation-sets"...where are they permissible without fallout and where ...not... ...as I said no one came right out and identified highheels as the cause of their "concern" but people who complain and then won't give a reason often know their motives are self-centered but a contractor-as in the company I was driving for- could care less the reasons-only that "we received a complaint and we think it's time for a change" ..don't feel sorry for me- the fact that specific issues never came up allowed me to present myself in the fullness of my job-skills without having to go into specific details why I left the last place I "worked"..but the lessons taught in this regrettable experience will cetainly not be soon forgotten... I'll still be around and I'll be back in high heels soon-and you'll all be among the first to hear..you're an extended family to me..so don't forget it!!! Jim JSpikeheels

  4. ...I'm sure you will agree that elements of a number of topics seem to appear in widely different places...for example, I began to share a few of my boot collection with you in a number of places the most recent being a thread entitled "never enough...etc,"

...then some time ago I mentioned that Target Stores did not stock sizes above 11 but some higher sizes were available only through www.target.com their on-line location....at that time I mentioned how much I liked these and intended to give their on-line system a try...and, so without further ado...here are pictures...

...there is another thread somewhere in here where I mentioned how to protect heels from chips and dings that will gouge this hard-to-match color...I recall that someone mentioned shrink-tubing as one possible strategy..

...I think I found something better: "MinWax" makes a line of products like furniture polish but they also make a spray-on polyurethene coating that sets up a plastic-like barrier on the item sprayed..right now. that seems to be working great..any of you with similar problem might do well to give this a try...

..these are suede and glove-soft to the touch...Isaac Mizrahi makes a line for Target so I guess these are my first "designer-heels" (lmao-can I say that??) unless you count PAYLESS rrflmao!!!

by the way, to introduce yet another cross-thread I was wearing these the day last week when that manager at that company turned me in to my "owner" and caused the "MEMO: NO HEELS TO EXCEED ONE INCH" dust-up I told you al about ...

..have I jumped around enough..are you all completely confused ...

    cheers

  5. ...after sharing with you the last pair of Italianheels I bought her I thought I would also include the other pair she currently owns...another pair I bought her some time ago..these are not in the current listing of availability but they are well worth another look...

..she was wearing them when I came home last evening-she was off from work yesterday( Tuesday)...

...she needs to "work" the higher heels a bit more but it can be a challenge when she's on her feet at a supermarket all day..after she was on these a while I could see she needed a break so I told her she could switch them for a different pair...and after someone comments of these so far, I'' present the ones she switched to...another delightful treat for our eyes, I promise...

  6. Again (like in another thread), no pics (page 1 of this thread) and PhotoBucket says 'Sorry, the requested page wasn't found...'. Did I stop by a bit late lately?

I was a little surprised that Photobucket did not permit the page..but, since I am the "owner" of the account, of course I could open it...

    ------------------------------

..to reference your remarks about the "studded boots" yes they are/were Payless but they had a harness strap across the front of the boot that was just a little ostentatious( showoff-y) so I cut it off leaving just a plain-upper boot...

here are a couple pics I just took tonight of the very same boots...wore them today-to my customer (changed into trainers) and changed back (after last delivery)

..I've had a number of less than favorable comments about these but I bought them just as I was discovering I could go higher than those blade heels over on 'for the guys" in that thread to our new friend titled "men-sized heels"...

...these were my highest heel boots at one time measuring almost five inches up the back of the heel and I thought I was pretty daring when I started showing these to my "ladies" along my schedule of pickups...they still look quite understated under the jeans leg, don't they?

    Posted Image

..I'll be featuring several of my other boots and pumps in the next few days so you'll all see what makes up my collection...

  8. Hi Everyone:

...back on December 20 Part One, December 21 Part Two and December 23 Part Three...

..I began to show a few jpegs of the beginning of the boot part of my collections as I made my "ladies" comfortable with some of the heel heights I was introducing as I made my pickups and delivery rounds in my business...

Sidebar: I am self-employed but have a contract for my services as a courier with Company "C" here in Charlotte..that's how I have been able to push the limits of what constitutes "appropriate footwear"...I can pretty much run my business-so to speak- any way I choose as long as I meet the terms of the contract language for specifics dealing with picking up, transporting and delivering the various commodities we carry.. yet they retain control of my services and may dictate certain practices and policies within the contract relationship and that's how they "pulled me up" on the "no heels in excess of one inch"-for the safety of the drivers" and the requirements of the customers' workplaces referenced in thread " time to regroup"

...here's how this thread ties to that other one:

with the clearer delineation between " Reebok-time" and "heel-time" I now have the freedom to explore the higher heels I have been working toward without wondering how I can present the higher heels without stirring up something with one of my customers that will reflect directly back on Company "C"..that's been my dilemma and that just went away!!!

these arrived yesterday from a company called:

    www.sexyshoefactory.com

...these will "knock your socks off"

    Posted Image

    Posted Image

..these are Pleaser Domina 2000 knee-high six inch spikeheel boots...this company had them for $45.89...when I saw them for under $50 I really decided I had to have them...

    ...and these...

    Posted Image

    Posted Image

...are Pleaser Domina 1010 with a contrasting six inch blue spikeheel( also available in black/red)...there is also a pump in this style but the black/blue has disappeared from most of the websites offering these so i decided I liked the blue better....priced at $41.39 made a nice companion purchase to the knee-highs...

..these will also reinforce the comfort-factors in five inch heels and that's the real goal in these exercises..don't think I'll go much higher than six..proven what I set out to do nearly a year ago..very satisfying...very satisfying..

...a few closing comments and I will let this out for you to pick at..

    1) if you're thinking about working up to a higher heel work up in boots not pumps...the additional support from boots adds to the confidence- you won't have to be quite so precise in learning the "heel-roll-toe" and you'll get comfortable faster...the pumps will feel more natural when you start in them...

    2) if your pant leg is proportional to the amount of heel tip that shows under the cuff anything of additional heel height under the leg will just be part of the "real mystery of high heels" ...if you show one to one and one half inches for example when you stand in one place and you have another four plus of "mystery" under your cuff some of that will rise and fall as you walk...

...I know that a big part of "heel watching" involves trying to get a glimpse of how high a spike really is under those damn pants you ladies all wear...and I know how it "lights me up" when I see the heel is really high under there...

..well here's a guy who can't wait to give "something back" to all you "fierce creatures" who have given me so many hours and peeks of pleasure...

    Best regards

    Jim

  9. ...if I might offer a suggestion to our new friend here... ..spend some time going over as many of the threads as you can work into your schedule...many of us have gone through or are going through much of the self-assessments I hear in your replies in this particular thread... ...observations and comments in many of the other threads will add to your process of filling in many of the spaces and gray areas in your personal unfolding journey of discovery... Cordially Jim JSpikeheels

  10. ..thanks to everyone who has commented and others are encouraged to add to this thread as well... ...I want to let you all know I have made a "few" changes in my daily routine... I wear the same choices I was making before this happened-out the door, any personal stops along the way to my first customer right up to his place of business... ..off come the heels-on goes "Clark Kent"-mild-mannered reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper"( the Reeboks)-and my "by their book" day begins... if I haven't made plans to stop along the way at a WalMart or something-"Clark Kent" stays on until I drop the last delivery of my afternoon..then I change back into "Superman" once again and go looking for somewhere to "leap tall buildings at a single bound" ... ------------------------ couple of things about this worth mentioning: 1) keeps the spikeheel experience fresh-losing it each morning (to "job requirements" and rediscovering it each afternoon is turning out to be quite a nice daily "downer/upper"...it renews my satisfaction with this whole adventure 2) keeps an edge on my relations with my customers-that is not to say I am approaching them with any malice or resentment but there are situations for which we can charge extra that I was often happy to "overlook" or "forgive"...let me just say that "by the book" can cut both ways... ...got to close this for now..Donna and I are going out to dinner in identical colored outfits..ref polo-style shirts, Wrangler jeans and Lady Wranglers, respectively, and each in our identical-style FOH 3 1/2 inch stiletto-spike heels... Cheers Jim JSpikeheels JSpikeheels

  11. ..this whole idea got started back around this thread when I mentioned that this started out as a "controlled experiment"

    http://www.hhplace.org/discuss/tvs_cds_tss/5592-one_thing_leads_another.html?highlight=JSpikeheels#post115004

those of you who recall how this whole experiment unfolded will remember I actually "asked permission" at each of my customers when I wanted to give it a try and everyone was encouraging and supportive...and as long as I kept the same customer-set I expected to continue my little adventure with them...

...my problem turned out to be a senior manager from the home office of one of my customers who happened to see me at the wrong time...I stumbled on a set of dock steps but I did not fall-just gripped the rail and straight-armed/recovered my balance...found out today that he had just "fired" two people who had worked there for "performance issues" so he was no doubt "feeling froggy and looking to leap"

    -------------------------

    ...bottom line from all this:

our courier company issued this memo" all drivers are required to wear protective footwear-no open toe shoes- not to exceed one inch in height"

..so I was not reprimanded or "spoken-to"...s'matter of fact my folks all were well aware of the boots and how high they are..so no big deal except how I am going to handle the "doing with less..."

...much more on that in a coming reply...

    Jim

    JSpikeheels

  12. Ancient proverb: Discretion is the better part of valor.:fine::D In the work environment there are safety regulations  and even insurance regs that must be observed. One would be foolish to jeporadize his job over shoes.

..all practical arguments aside-and I agree with every one of them- it's the loss of something hard-won and dearly valued that saddens and frustrates me the most...freedom of self-expression...

    Jim

    JSpikeheels

  13. ..well the day I knew would come has come... ,,,yesterday I went in to one of my customers..some big deal self-important manager from one of their other branches was in there...to make a long story short he called my company and complained about my choice of footwear... ..this afternoon all we drivers got a memo: "no shoes with heels exceeding one inch" due to "an incident that happened yesterday" -------------------------------------- ..maybe the manager saw me catch my heel-tip on the metal steps leading up to the dock level and saw me nearly take a fall..can't say I blame him for doing what he did..or my contractor/employer for doing what he did...as I said, I knew I was just one "incident" or one "anal individual" away from this... ...so while I am not pleased I have to consider that I could have fallen badly (but did not..this time) and might have fractured something..how would I explain that I caused the whole thing by wearing very high heels...and what might be out there waiting to happen in the coming weeks or months if this "wake-up call" had not come when it has... ..so my plan is to wear the heels at every opportunity when I don't "fall under"-definitely no pun intended here-the conditions of the contract/memo but I'll keep a pair with me and looking for opportunities to get "off the clock" whenever I can... ...I worked so hard to build up the confidence and measured indifference to the perceptions of others around me that this is the part that really pizzez me off...but the show will go on..so stick close as I check in...everyone will be at this point sooner or later and we can all learn from the experiences I am going through now... regards Jim JSpikeheels

  14. hey everyone...

...my last reply about street heeling just made me want to share with everyone how refreshing this whole experience has been for me as I worked through all my issues that brought me to this "acceptance" and that I can and do wear high heels in my everyday life...

...just to wake up in the morning and realize this..is a jolt of endorphins.. (chemicals in the brain that are responsible for positive moods)

...a naturally-produced "high" that lasts all day in a pleasant buzz ...I feel like my clothes fit better and I look better, my thoughts have greater clarity and I can express myself more concisely and creatively and I feel like I am projecting an aura of contentment and well-being to those around me...

    ----------------------

..just a sidebar: has anyone done any studies regarding the natural "production" of these chemicals insofar as the body becoming dependent on them and craving more and more to remain "satisfied?"

  15. hey everyone..

..nice to be back with you all...

...well we drove down to Disney on the 19th of January..I didn't want to get to "out there" but I was determined to make a statement to myself so I wore my old standbys...

    Posted Image

..all the way down to our first night at Daytona Beach and out to dinner later...not one single person even caught my eye with so much as a hint of recognition..and neither Donna or my son said one word of concern or complaint...gave them a rest while we walked our endless miles around the Parks and Resorts but you know I was thinking about them the entire trip..up until the day we came home..

...wore them again and this time we stopped at the Polynesian for breakfast before heading out on the "Big Road" (I-4) for the nine hour drive home..it was a real rush wearing them in a busy resort but no one even cared...

    ---------------------

...so now I'm back to work and it's Monday morning ( last week) and the pull of the heels is stronger than ever...Monday and Tuesday I wore the 'Radars" with the four inch heel:

    Posted Image

    ...felt good..looked great...

...Wednesday I stepped it up to the "Quiveras " with a four and a half inch heel:

    Posted Image

...snowed on Thursday and many if us did not work..but Friday was another exciting opportunity:

    Posted Image

these were only three and one-half high but a STILETTO heel made it really a thrill...

...the point of this rather long, wandering essay for this afternoon is this and you have all said the same thing.."no one cares..."

...does this "indifference" encourage any of you to push the heels higher...or tend toward more stiletto...it does for me...I have been harboring a desire to go as high as I can manage so that a lower heel can still be considerable but comfortable...

  16. ...hey everybody... we have been home for a week but it's taken me that long to work through an incredible number of emails-hundreds upon hundreds- from my everyday identity "pelicnone" for my sports, conservative newsletters, jimmy buffet and beach links to "eileens_spikeheels" for my highheels and related-interests-to another called "pelican.dreams" for my home-based business to yet another called "theoldpelican" for my very deep and extensive interest in and collections of classic country music from the 50's-60's 70's and early 80's.. ...now that I have them down to a semi-manageaable amount it's time to get caught up with you "guys and dolls"...(you know who you are)... ..as you can see I have one heckuva interest range that keeps me busy when I am not out driving in my primary business activities or heading off to Disney or South Florida again... 17. an you all know who watch the "Today" Show the planets really have to align to gain a great heel sighting of my favorite girl...she often works only the 7am-9am part of the program, she does not always do her interviews from the "two chairs" set and she wears those damn bloomer-pants that hide the heel unless she is really sitting back or up on her stool -as you will see in a moment..

..but here are a couple or so more I was able to get of her..

  20. ..that was a great suggestion for "wrapping the heels" to avoid wear to the heels..but I would like to expand on this a bit more in the form of a second question...

..if you look closely you will note the heel is that off-tan/brown color that many of the styles are favoring this season and, as such, it's pretty hard to cover any dings or color breaks in the heels..does anyone have any suggestions on how to REPAIR blemishes and small wear-marks in heels of this type?

..by the way, a pair of these just arrived today and they are beautiful!!!

..want to keep them as nice as possible for as long as possible...
