  1. I've been a little quiet on here recently... new relationship has been taking up my time and energy, but the good news is that he appreciates me wearing nice heels

Some members will remember me going on fanatically about a pair of Louboutin boots before Xmas. I bought the considerably cheaper version from Aldo, which are in a beautiful soft leather:

My Betty Page shoes from Burlesque Blue. I love dressing up in my vintage style 6 strap suspender corselette and FF stockings with these. Just need to get a long black wig and some Betty bangs and I'll be set :o:

Also from Burlesque Blue. I wore these to Tescos and felt that they were just a little too high for me and I felt that I was walking a little strangely, but according to the new bloke, they made me have a great ass wiggle :-?

Sorry the pics aren't any better, they were self portraits on my camera phone.

New bloke has a digital SLR though, which could make for interesting material :D

Very nice purchases, thank you for the pictures.

  2. Hi there - sorry I did not get to post the pics yesterday, I ended up shopping at Bluewater where I treated my self to another pair of heels from Aldo! I love thier shoes!

    ;)

Anyway - I only have time to add two pics now.

These are of me wearing the Aldo AtlanticCity heels - very sexy!!

I teamed it with my Black Leather Oasis 'Biker Style' mini Skirt and a pair of my other halfs tights!

Let me know what you think.

I will add the rest tomorrow.

As usual let me know if you have any photo requests!

    :cool1:

    Excellent shoes. Thanks

  3. i turn a bit sideways, not straight on, no probs...

try walking down cobbles when youre p***ed, now thats difficult !!!

I do what you do on steps, turn a bit sideways and take the steps, no problem up or down. Cobbles, man I might take my shoes or boots off and walk barefoot.

I have the most trouble in parking garages that have inclined ramps. Going up the ramp is OK because the incline offsets the high heel. But coming back down to the car is more of a challenge for me. The ramp angle adds to the angle of my ankle and I catch myself leaning back or bending my knees more. Either way I'm more self conscious of how I'm walking.

  4. I was just wondering what percentage of guys really like women in high heels, kind of like them, don't care, or dislike them? Of course on this board it might be a little biased. ;) But in the general population, I'm guessing that 1 out of 10 really likes them, most kind of like them, and a few don't care or dislike them?

And I wonder too what percentage that really like them on women really like them on themselves too! :cool1:

Certainly a bias with me because I wear heels. I have always admired women who could walk in high heels.

Don’t really know any percentages but most guys I have talked to like women wearing heels. Admire the look so to speak.

Some of the more religious men (as they present themselves anyway) I know tend to like the look (and to look) of them but look down somewhat on the women who wear them.

  5. Well, not very new, they're two months old. They're 13 cm high plus 1 cm platform, fantastic to walk in and extremely comfy despite they height (kinda low for me :] ).

I'd love to hear/read your comments about, especially women's.

    Those are some sweet pumps.

  6. Only 15€ for these!

They're a sort of stretch suede, knee high, unbelievably fantastic to wear. I love the round toe, the small plat and the heel looks solid (but only 9 cm ;) ), not noisy at all while walking. I can even run in them.

Again, I'd love to hear your comments.

    Excellent boots!

  7. Are high heels intimidating to guys when they make you taller than him? I recently went out with a guy who I liked a lot, but he said he didn't understand why women would wear heels when they made them taller than their significant others. I guess he must have been referring to me, since I was wearing 5" heels that night with him and they might have made me a little taller than him. He kind of suggested that he would rather me wear flats. I stopped seeing him for other reasons though.

Would guys not approach a woman because her heels make her taller than him? I guess it's time for me to find taller guys?

My wife is 5'4" barefoot. I'm 5"8". When she wears heels she is at least my hight sometimes taller if they are platforms. She enjoys being taller. But, when we both ware heels of the same height I'm taller. She still would like to be taller than me but it would take some very tall heels. But I wouldn't mind!

  8. With March half over (I'll soon disappear for the next few weeks to watch the NCAA men's hoops tournament!) and the weather slowly starting to warm up in advance of the arrival of spring, this begs the question:

When do you put away your boots?

I'm sure there are those out there who love boots so much and probably wear them all year long if they could get away with it, but for others, there has to come a time when common sense, and the inevitable hot weather forces us put our boots into storage in favor of lighter shoes for the upcoming season. For me, that's usually around early April when I return my shovels and rock salt to the basement and dust off my spring and summer footwear, usually pumps. For me, there's no reluctance about putting my boots away, because the seasons will soon change and I can break them out around October and enjoy them all over again. So when do you put your boots into storage?

Usually around the first of April. I will selectively wear boots on our Saturday "date" nights with my wife if it isn't 80 degrees or higher. At that point it begins to get to hot to wear boots and jeans.

  9. My wife and I hit the sale racks at Macy's and Bloomingdales today. Spent less than $80 and got these...

First ones are Steven Madden Babbett in black patent size 10. Just barely tight but I will stretch the toebox a tad and they will be perfect.

Second are Enzo Angiolini Eavital boots in black leather. VERY soft and they fit like a glove.

Both have 4.5" heels and no platform. I bought both to wear out in public.

    CJ

Great boots. I've been looking for a pair like the second pair (Enzo Angiolini Eavital boots in black leather) and couldn't find what I wanted. Thanks for including the info.

  11. I like those alot. I've been looking at a pair that are similar. Good to hear they are so comfortable with the platform. Like the idea of the hidden platform. Several of Jessica Simpson's styles have those hidden platforms and I have been debating about buying a pair.
