I voted yes. I occasionally find a boot (my favorite footwear) or a shoe that I really like and I’ll treat myself. Most of the time I say I may not venture out but after a while of wearing them inside I’ll take off on an errand and see how it goes. I shop most of the time on eBay looking for bargains and have had good luck. But sometimes the urge to by some really cool boots is just too much. I would choose the River Island boots.

I would love to have a pair of Louboutins just like those only in black leather. Probably can't afford them though.

Wow, I guess Texas is not a heel lovers state.... Over a month on my post and the Dallas TX post about meet ups has no replies either....

Such a big state and no heel fans.....

Don't get to Houston much anymore. Did travel there some but mostly SA and Austin.

The "brown T-strap peep toe pumps with chunky heels" are very good looking. Excellent choice.

I was just looking through the facebook questionnaires etc when i searched for shoes or heels and happen to come across an interesting application called "Shoes!" has anyone else added this?

From what i can make out of it youre given virtual money to buy virtual shoes you like but otherwise its just a massive catalogue of pictures of the best heels ive ever seen, all sorts of different styles ive never come across in your average stores and has daily added heels, but otherwise i havnt got a clue what its there for other than to tease you

The open toe heels with the pink lacing and bow are stunning. Do you know who’s they are, YSL or J Vincent perhaps?

I'm quite happy to find this site! I've been buying and wearing high heels for almost 20 years. I have over 100 pairs and I'm always looking for more. There is nothing much to compare with the feeling of your bare foot sliding into that heel!

Thanks for the pictures. First and second pics are my favorites but I love that style of high heels.

Both are good looking shoes. I really like the Coshi - "Leather court shoe featuring unique T-bar and buckled ankle straps. The Coshi courts have a covered platform and back." I love closed toe strappy shoes and these have a hidden platform. It allows the heel to be higher but is easier on the ankles.

What a great idea. Have a bag (back pack, courier bag) to carry your heels, get to your destination and put them on. Ladies do it for work all the time. Thanks

Congratulations! Very fortunate to have a partner who understands and now both of you can shop for heels.

I was wondering, why do we like to wear heels? For me it is mostly for comfort. I mean the arch the heels position my feet in just feels better than mens flat shoes. But there is a part of me that also enjoys the feminine feeling they give me. What are your reasons?

Does anyone know how I can turn this into a poll?

I voted other because there are many reasons for me.

• First and foremost I wear heels because I like to.

• I think I look better. I like to catch glimpses of myself in the windows at the mall and I like what I see.

• Comfort. Not all of the heels I like to wear are comfortable for long periods of time. Some are date shoes and boots. Some are really comfort able and I love to wear those.

• Feminine, something there certainly. I feel wearing heels catches a side of me that for awhile was under appreciated.

• Style, Style, Style, Style, far better than men’s shoes and boots

• Fetish, sure especially with a couple of the over the knee boots I wear out to dinner (under pants)

• It makes me unique, different from most people and I have tattoos so I tend to be different already.

So all in all I just like heels for lots of reasons.

Is height important to you or style?

To me , height never really mattered. I can walk in 5" heels with no problem. I prefer 4" for all day but as long as it's 3" or up, it doesn't matter if the style suits me. Also rather it be a stiletto, block, or stacked heel does not matter also. It's the look of the shoe for me. I do have a few 5 3/4" and up that I wear in house for fun.

I chose height but it’s usually a meshing of both height and style.

Just had to add that I definitely feel a heel sensation since I take shorter steps when walking in heels. My wife pointed out that I take shorter strides when walking in my cowboy boots.
