  1. Onyourtoes: Have you dealt with westernranch recently! I haven’t sent an order since they closed and reorganized. I bought my first pair of custom boots from there (2.5 inch heel). Fit great from the first step. Most comfortable shoes or boots I own. Wanted to get some in the 3 to 3.5 inch range but didn’t have the funds. Then I found out they closed.

Love your 5 inch black boots !!! I want a pair!!!! I also wear size 10D. Found Westernranch to be very reasonable price wise.

  2. Hi,

Just thought I would post this cuz I thought it was very cool. I wear heels to work all the time and skirts now also (been some very rocky roads but I wish not to dwell on that) so folks are very used to what I wear now.

Today I have on a long tan/brown skirt with my 4" brown high heel clogs. There were about 5 of us outside on break in the smoking area at the picnic table.

Wow, your coworker had to be very comfortable with himself and the others to be able to ask and then actually walk around in your shoes.

I second what Dawn HH said, if you can let us know what develops.

  3. Hi to all. New to posting but been a member for a while  . Now that I have a better computer and a digital camera (still attempting to learn both) I am hoping to post more and add pictures of my boots. A little history first. I have been into heels and boots since I was about 5 or 6 after I got into my aunt’s high heels. It has been hide and seek and a veritable roller coaster ride of emotions ever since. I have bought and discarded some shoes and boots I wish I would have kept. Did it for a lot of the same reasons people have said they did it and posted here. Funny how at the time I thought I was the only one in the world that loved wearing high heeled shoes and boots. Eventually I found that I wasn’t. Skip a few years and this new deal called the internet was really my outlet and a source for my education and inspiration. I “surfed” the internet looking for pages that served my interest, men that wanted to wear high heeled shoes and boots. Some of my initial heeling was for the fetish interest but even then it was mostly because I liked how they looked, felt and how I looked in them. Plus they were vastly more stylist than any men’s boots. I first found the “Shoes and Heels Discussion Board” and I knew I had found some kindred spirits. Then I heard about a new board “the HighHeel meeting place” and I have truly been inspired by everyone that has posted here. Through this board I have been moved to continue experimenting and expanding not only by collection but also my wearing of heels. I now wear heels out regularly. I owe a lot to all that have posted about street heeling. I have attempted to post a picture but it was huge  . So, I need some advice on how to make the picture smaller so it doesn’t take up half a page when the forum and the topic opens. I would like to have a picture in my avatar but it’s the same problem. I have a picture I can link to at Photobucket but again I’m learning. Most of the problem now seems to be “operator error” and not the camera or the computer. I appreciate any help on this and thanks for letting be bend your ear for awhile.

  4. Well guys I have been reading and posting for a long time on this site and the more I read about first time outing the more I wanted to do it. I can't say anymore that I needed the right place to go. What I really needed was the right heel that made me feel comfortable. Then my favorite store had these in stock.

Now when I bought them I thought they would be tight and a little uncomfortable but on the contrary they were absolutelty perfect in fit and size. I went to my neighborhood payless right before work thinking that they might not have them. But as I looked through the size 12s there was only one and I had to get them. I got into my car and put them on and I expected some resistance thinking I would have to put my foot down and wiggle my foot around to get them in.( I know nost of us have done that) but to my surprise they slipped in with ease. Now driving in these beauties was a little uncomfortable in my hip. 4" heels. But as I was driving to work I kept talking myself up to getting out and giving them a road test. Now as paranoid as I am  about being seen by someone I know I just said f$#% it. I ventured to Walmart close to my office, got out of the car, checked the length of my pants and went in. As I was walking to the door all I could hear was click click click from these 4" clogs and I almost turned around but I said get some balls and keep going. So I went into the store walked around for about 30 min and not even a peep i heard from the other people. I caught a few second looks but nothing was said. I walked out of the store got into my car and smiled  . Now I know the feeling most of you get and I'm glad i did it.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent, Sandalcrazy27, first time is the hardest.

    Happy holidays in Austin.

    HIGH HEELS FOR EVER. :D

  5. Just starting to wear heels out after years of in house ware. I have some boots that have a 2.5 inch heel that i am building outside courage with. My one experience recently wearing higher heels out was with a pair of BCBG 4.5 inch pointed toe ankle boots (my favorites). Wore them with longer jeans to run a couple of errands. It was one of the most exciting but scary experiences so far.
