  1. Le752: You are absolutely correct. We have a guy friend in Montana that has a pair exactly like those, my wife has the other pair shown. He even mentioned the cooking thing. BTW - - in the other thread glad to hear you uncovered the stash. I used to hide some in a similar location before I just came out and told my wife, which by the way also involved alcohol - ain't wine great?. I don't think you'll need to do DNA testing to ascertain that he's wearing them. Good luck. Wineanddine

  2. Kneehighs: I've bought from Fredericks before with some success and a few problems but what I've found is that the drop down sizing is what they happen to have left in that particular style. Hence, some will have a lot of different sizes available and others not many at all. If you check out their clearance area the sizing is usually pretty limited but the prices are great. Hope that helps. Wineanddine. PS - - I ordered a pair from them once and they sent 2 left shoes, I mean how hard can it be to not screw that up? It's just a hassle getting it all straightened out but they finally did.

  3. I tend to try to not over analyze things but instead look for the obvious. I might hear a noise in the middle of the night and find a man I don't know in my living room with a sack and a flashlight. I may not know for sure why he is there but most likely he's robbing me. My point is that based on the sites he is visiting and ordering 2 pairs of heels that fit him I think LE can proceed on the assumption that it's more than just a coincidence and he has some serious interest in wearing and or viewing high heels. Since he bought in his size I'd vote for wearing. Based on her earlier postings I trust her judgment to proceed however she sees fit. Good luck, we've all been there. Wineanddine

  4. Dear LE752: The shoes are adorable. Thank you so much for sharing this and please let us know how it turns out. I am willing to go out on a limb here and say that it will exceed your most optimistic expectations. I still remember the first time I wore heels with my wife and it was one of the few times when you feel like you are being totally vulnerable with someone you love. Have fun and good luck. Wineanddine

  5. I would agree with all the above, particularly Bootylicious. At 17 you're probably not that far away from moving out of the house (college, job, etc.) and having your own heels and privacy should help you sort out where you're going with it. Good luck and welcome, we've all been through it. wineanddine

  6. Dear Le752: I would repeat Jim's comment, I think everybody here likes you. I can't remember the last time such comments generated this much openness and care. I have no idea what age you are but you show a great deal of maturity and I sense you're still young. I myself am 55 and have been married 17 years. It was longer than that ago that I started the heeling thing with my wife. She, like you, was very understanding and I think did a lot of reading and such on her own to conclude that it's just a fetish. We've always had a great relationship and that didn't change a bit. As a side note, there are almost endless possibilities of who wears or doesn't wear heels during sex and that part has only gotten better for us over the years. If you are having great sex now just wait until he gets comfortable wearing heels to bed... Good luck and as Dawn indicated please keep us apprised of how things are going. Wineanddine

  7. LooLoo: I think I can just about guarantee you that he will love you for it. Shopping together would have the advantage of him getting something that "floats his boat" as you can tell from this forum everybody has their preferences. It sounds to me like you guys have a pretty great relationship. Good luck. Wineanddine

  8. I wouldn't give up on them just yet but you are absolutely correct about where you walk in them (stilettos). I took these out for a spin last weekend ( the pink ones).

It's not New York or anything so I have to be careful about recognition and decided that the rest areas on the Interstate were ideal since nobody that lives here would stop there only out of town travellers? The best part, all concrete sidewalks, vending areas, rest rooms ,etc..and well lit up at night. I walked the full length of the sidewalk, up to the vending area, went inside, nobody said or did anything. Bought a bottled water. I was a little nervous about the walk back to the car since everybody seems to leave their headlights on and walking in front of the other cars was like being on stage. It went so well I circled around and did the same at the rest area on the other side of the Interstate. No problems. Sweet...

  9. BobHH: I know what you mean. We've been to Italy several times and the women there can walk on 500 year old cobblestone streets in these gorgeous Italian stiletto heels and not even miss a step. On and off buses, up and down subway steps and getting on and off motor scooters. It's a high heeled aficianado's dream come true. They were everywhere and so non chalant about it, like they wouldn't sacrifice any of it just for "comfort"...the only sneakers you see are on the tourists... Wineanddine

    To all:

I know what you mean about the more you do it the less turn on it is. I hope that link works above, that's what I was wearing with jeans, yesterday I was out of town on a one day business thing and took those along. I miscalculated on how long my pants would be and they didn't cover quite as much as I thought. Half the heel was showing and about half way up the front. Very noticeable and Pink to boot. I stopped at 3 different places, 2 different strip malls and a rest area. By the time I got to the last one a girl at the rest area was buying something from the vending machine and just looked at me walking up and by then I was like "so what?".

I really enjoyed it, I have to admit. Only about my second or third time out and all the advice I got here really helped and greatly appreciated. Thanks to all.

  11. If the guy was wearing and shopping for them I'd be a little surprised if he hasn't been to this site before. I still have not ever spotted a guy in public, let alone had a conversation with someone who was wearing at the time, although my guess is somebody along the way has mentioned seeing me "out"....as in "You should have seen the heels on this guy I saw yesterday"... 12. I've ordered from them before (XOXO 5" heels) the service, etc. was very good, I highly recommend that site and they have larger sizes depending on the item...I paid $15 for all leather, great looking pumps..even my wife thought they were a steal.. Wineanddine

  13. The whole Nick Lachey interview thing started a lively discussion, albeit short lived, in our office when I brought it up. One of the girls in our office asked if I did that and I said "Oh, all the time" and she laughed but also gave me a knowing look, and the other girl said her husband couldn't fit into her heels, which I took to mean he had at least tried. It was fun and every little bit helps. We probably all owe Nick some modicum of thanks don't you think? Wineanddine

  14. Spikes: I think at that price if I had tried them on in the store I would have bought them. BTW, I've been out twice in 5 inch stiletto pumps and I agree that's the way to go but man was my heart pounding. The outlet you mentioned sounds promising but none in my state. It sounds like a TJ Maxx or a Burlington Coat Factory type though and they have some great things in footwear. Keep up the good hunt, Wineanddine

  15. Dawn HH - - Sounds similar to our situation. My wife's choices are much more practical however the last pair of D'Orsay style pumps I bought I think she envied a bit. While I had them on she said "I want you, hell I want those shoes!" Blackslide - - Too funny about the sailing. My wife sailed competitively (albeit locally) in her younger days and loved it, I never have. I too think the "go slow" approach works best on the heels thing. If you're a Bill Murray fan, "Baby Steps" approach from his movie "What About Bob"....come to think of it there was some sailing in that movie too. Have a great holidays everyone. Wineanddine

  16. I offer compliments on a routine basis, depending on the heels, of course. (No stalking or following please). I've never had anyone be anything but gracious as a result but most have not been in large cities where people keep more to themselves. I usually simply look at the woman and say "Those are cute shoes" , "Those are adorable shoes" or "Those are great heels"...the last time was 2 weeks ago at an outdoor party, girl I didn't know, and she promptly threw one foot up on a picnic table to show me the whole heel and was very appreciative of the compliment. They were a rather nice D'Orsay style pump, albeit only about a 3 inch heel.. Wineanddine

  17. Regarding the original post about the Chicago school situation - - let's face it, the story would be laughable were it not actually happening. It is so wrong on so many levels that it doesn't warrant any further comment from me other than what's already been said. Whoever said "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the stupidity of the American people" might have been thinking of situations like this. Wineanddine

  18. Funny you mentioned that subject. I was just thinking the other day about the first pair of heels I actually bought in a shoe store a long time ago. They were having a sidewalk sale and there was a pair of size 10 red leather stiletto pumps (not patent, kidskin) with the instep on the inside of the shoe "cut out" (I have no idea what the real description might be but you get the idea). They were made in Spain and the guy working there gave me an odd look, said to be sure about the size because there were no exchanges or refunds. I just wanted to get them home. After years of wearing occasionally around the house and expanding my collection they somehow ended up in my wifes closet and she eventually threw them out. The last time I remember wearing them was a Valentines Day and she bought me white stockings from VS and a red garter belt. What a lucky guy. I did just get a pair of XOXO Pumps from Overstock.com that are pink leather and they may take the place of those old red ones. I couldn't post a link but its product #149303 if you do a search of that website. Only $15.99 and highly recommended. If you're between sizes go a half size smaller as I think mine might be a tad big when broken in but I'm loving 'em. Wineanddine
