Welcome. You are a fortunate guy. Not only do you have an understanding lady, but she wears the same size as you and is willing to share. We should all be that lucky!

I like the first picture with the leggings and slingbacks. It looks hot so don't change a thing!

What a great article! I don't know who she is, but I like the way she thinks.

Those blue heels are classy and hot!

I've found Zappos to be a very good source. They have good service, a great return policy, good selections, and the prices are reasonable. I shudder to think how much that I have spent there!

I love the wedges; They are hot! Why are they tagged "The Unloved" in one picture?

Welcome to the forum. Good luck with your outings in your area. I live in a rural location as well, so I know how sometimes your desire must be tempered by discretion. Still, enjoy yourself whenever you can.

The lack of choices for us may be one of the factors that moves some mene into what is traditionally women's footwear. I think the choices for men are terrible. That is one reason (among others) that most of my shoe styles are "women's." Doubt if I'll ever buy another pair of "men's" shoes!

Christine, The red shoes are hot!!!! As my quote says, "If the shoe fits, buy it!!!" If I remember correctly in one of your previous posts you said that you wear size 38. I just checked the link from your post and 38 is one of the few sizes remaining. How could these be wrong?

Hot pumps!

Yes, I have many pairs and I've loved them since my first pair back in the 70's!

I was a year old too when that ad ran in the paper. I remember while growing up seeing shoe advertisements in the local, small-town newspaper. Unfortunately, the only time you see shoe ads anymore is in store flyers. At least that is how it seems here in a more rural area.

Glad that you had a good shopping experience. The sandals you wore were great! I have several pairs that are similar, but not quite that high.

Hi Dalmar and welcome. We are relatively neighbors. I live about 90 miles north of you just off I-79. Hope you enjoy the forum.

It seems like a typical reaction for a school district, although they did let him back even with the dress. Maybe they realized that they over reacted. I'm impressed with the kid. Wish I had such an unfazed attitude as him.

I have several pairs of Dr. Scholl exercise sandals too. I am wearing a pair as I write this. Like you, Steve, I prefer the heeled version. I wore the flat style for a while, but the heeled ones are my favorites. I wish we had access here in the US to the Scholl styles that I see for sale in Europe. Some of them have 2" or higher heels similar to the "Peggy" style of Berkemann sandals. I would have at least a few pairs of those if they could be found here. Sometime the worldwide access of the internet can be a curse too by teasing us with something that we can't get at home!

Wow!!! I watched part of the film on your PBS link. It appears that many of the native tribes had it together far more than our dominant Western culture. If only most people would use the brain they were given, we would live in a far different world. Very powerful documentary.

Sounds like it sould be fun. Maybe they are actually closet heelers!

Several years ago I saw a brand of exercise sandals (Yeah, I know, some of the purists are cringing right now!) called Lanaform. There is a current website and it appears that they are still made. I've never seen them here in the US. Does anyone know if they are available here in the States, or know anything about them in general? Thanks!!!

Both are hot looking! Actually, the pumps don't look that much smaller in the picture.

The best way to see the videos is to go onto Zappos' website and check out some of the shoes. Pick out a style that you would like to see then either look under product information and click the link for "View the Video Description," or click on "larger image and additional views" then click the video icon. The girl doing the video always introduces herself. Plus, you get to see the style actually being worn. The majority of their shoes have a video description. Have fun!

April is my favorite shoe girl too. She's cute and is pretty cool in the ads.

Great story about your adventure. It gets easier as time passes. Good luck...

I agree with the others. Wear the boots and I'll bet that nobody would know the difference unless you tell them. Have fun!

I'll wear most any style of women's shoe--not just heels.
