I use both, but most come from the internet because there aren't many shoe stores in my area.

Hot wedges!!

Welcome, and 43 pairs is a good start.
-
My one experience with Aldo is that they ran small, extremely small!

I've had a couple of pedicures, and they were incredible. Unfortunately, I only had clear polish applied. The ultimate would be to have a color polish then go out wearing some really cool sandals to show them off. I'm not that brave, though. I love the wedges that you wore too.

Congratulations for your first time out, and for the fact that they were 5-1/4" heels--no small fete. One reason it may seem harder walking in them outside (beside the fact the they were some 5-1/4" heels), is that when we are in the house we can't walk for a long distance without stopping, turning, reversing direction, etc. Outside the distance that we can walk at a stretch is virtually unlimited, so the distance could be a factor too. I've noticed the same thing with shoes that I've worn outside for the first time. Good for you, and keep it up.

Here is a question about heel sizing. I have found with higher heels that I usually wear about one half size smaller than usual. Anyone else find that is true?

I'm with roniheels on that one. Who would have known if Beiber didn't mention it. If no one knows then does it really matter if they are women's jeans?
-
They're all hot, especially the red ones.

Hello heel (and stev55) from the Erie area.

Irishwolf, I forgot to mention that I think your avatar is incredible. I'm a fan of wooden slides and the original "Candies" slides of the early 80's.
-
Nice collection! I love the Mia slides then the Dr. Scholl mj's are next. They all look great.

Now that you've broken the ice...don't stop!!!
-
Love your wedges, especially the ones from Bakers.
-
Bernheels, I like your pictures (and your shoes). They look like a display in a shoestore.
-
I love those wedges!

I'm not sure of my exact numbers, but I have FAR MORE women's shoes than mens. I have two pairs of Frye dress loafers, one pair of workboots, and the rest are women's styles ranging from flats to heels.

I like the shoes. Being a wedge and mj fan myself, they fit right in with my styles. That was a good review and pic too. There was no indication that it was written by a man--not that there is anything wrong with that either. I've written many reviews for Zappos, Online Shoes, and others, and some I even mentioned that I'm male and they were printed without any problems. I think for the most part the companies would not turn down male customers. After all, a sale is a sale to them.

That's a great story. To have a supportive wife and to score on a shopping trip like you did makes it extra special. Congratulations...

I wish we had that kind of selection from Scholl here in the US. I saw several pairs that I would love to have. All that is available here from Dr. Scholl is the regular heeled exercise sandals which is ok, because I have always liked (and worn) them. It would be nice to have the other styles as an option too.

I forgot to mention that I love the slides that are in your avatar. Slides are another favorite of mine.

Nice sandals. I worn Dr. Scholls sandals since 1974, and I still do. They have always been a favorite of mine, or maybe even the favorite! I'm glad to see that people still enjoy them. I just wish theey were made as good as the originals in the 1970's.

I remember that style quite well.

Unfortunately, I can't. You guys who can certainly are lucky! It is incredible just to think about the opportunities wearing the same size shoe as your mate would bring.

I'm not really crazy about the color but I love the style.
