  1. Scrappycoco:-) Congrats! Sounds like you are doing well with your public heeling and matching your outfits with it and the occasion. At last you are dressing your way and liking doing it. Reading of your heeling adventures makes for a good read. Keep us all up on your progress as your adventures occur. Cheers--- Dawn HH

  2. I forgot one thing when I made out my list. I was 16 years old when rock and roll music became popular in the 50's and I was very much into it and still am today. I listen to it daily on a XM radio channel while driving my car and enjoy it very much and Mickey does too. We listen to it together. When we get into the car the radio comes on immediately after the ignition and I ask Mickey for talk radio or rock and roll tunes. The tunes come first always. When I was teaching music I always had a rock and roll unit in my music classes no matter the grade I was teaching and it was always the favorite unit and the kids couldn't wait for me to present it. I still dress just the same as I did in the 50's. At least that is what Mickey says. Jeans and t-shirts are the daily dress for me when I'm not at work. Cheers--- Dawn HH

  3. Radiodave:-) Being a restorer of old radios you might like to know that today I'm having a genuine 1935 Chevrolet radio installed into my 1935 Chevrolet Standard Coach, original unrestored with 49.000 miles since new. This car never had a radio originally and since I found one in excellent condition I thought that there should be a marriage of the two. I was unable to attend the first Ohio Heel Meet as I had just had surgery and couldn't travel at that time. The second Ohio Heel Meet unfortunately had to be canceled and I had made arrangements to attend that one. I certainly would like to be able to attend the Third Ohio Heel Meet and to be able to put faces to the many people that I post to all of the time. Cheers--- Dawn HH

  4. I was once shopping alone in the Supermarket aisle with 3 other girls all wearing heels and all of us were clicking along while choosing our products. Those other girls never noticed my clicking heels thinking, "Well, there are other girls in this aisle and the sound of heels must be coming from them". I had a "ball" in that aisle. Couldn't resist clicking along with them. Nobody was the wiser. Cheers--- Dawn HH

  5. Way to go. I get that age of people down at the Science Center also. We have a steam whistle that we get the people to blow when they pass by the controlling consol. That age group, especially boys, thinks it is uncool to blow the whistle and that they are above that sort of thing. I just tell them that I have had 98 year old Grandmothers blow the whistle, true statement, and that they are not too old or too big to use it. The parents just stand there and smile because a stranger has capped them and they didn't have to. TEE! HEE! Cheers--- Dawn HH

  6. Freshlinus:-) I quite agree with what HHBoots says. Try it you may like it and can always drop back to 4" later for streetheeling. Either way---welcome to the HH Place Forum and keep us posted on your progress. Cheers--- Dawn HH

  7. I think that Andi made a great look as a very convincing woman and should do that again as often as he feels he can. A great looking outfit that was not over the top but very natural all around and the shoes fit well with it. Good make-up too. Thats what you want---to look as natural as a woman as you can and for the first time I think that Andi hit the jack-pot. He would be foolish to not capitalize on a good thing and expand his outings as such as he can and have as much fun doing that as he could. A woman doesn't change her hair-do every time she dresses and therefore he can get more mileage from his wig before he has to have the expense of buying a new one. I had a lot of fun through the years doing just the same thing that he is doing. I wish him well. Cheers--- Dawn HH

  8. I think that stilettos will always be popular and available. I would like the stiletto heels to look like they did years ago when they blazed upon the market and when they complimented the rest of the shoe and were placed where a heel ought to be on a well designed heeled shoe. Cheers--- Dawn HH
