  1. Stilettos:-) When I'm driving in heels, I'm more cautious and less aggressive to help avoid emergencies and I leave more room between me and the car in front to allow more room to manuever. If in flats and someone starts horseing around with me I can be very aggressive. Those kind of people don't know what the headlights on my Maruader look like as all they see is fadeing taillights. 0 to 60 in less than 4 seconds. Z-Z-Z-O-O-O-O-M-M-M!!! Dawn HH

  2. Chris100575:-) The ribbed soles really help. I have also replaced the slippery plastic heel tips with rubber for two reasons---less noise and better traction on all of my boots. As for the platform boots, I don't particularly care for that style, and if I did own them, I certainly wouldn't drive in them. Just my opinion---If you like that style, go for it and enjoy them. Dawn HH

  3. Bootcrazy:-) I like heeled boots also. How the devil do you get such deep cleavage. I sure would like to know. You look fantastic as a girl. If you could post your web-site address, I certainly would appreciate it. Tell us some secrets of how you can achieve such a convincing womanly look. I'm fairly new at this posting thing, but you sure are giving me an education. FANTASTIC!!! Cheers. Dawn HH

  4. Chris100575:-) I never wear my heels to bed. With the way I sleep, I would have that bed torn to shreds before morning, not to mention my wife's anger from my kicking her in the legs all night. BTW---I was checking out your post picture in the patent courts, and you have very nice looking legs and ankles. My ankles and feet have become slightly deformed with age, but still look convincing when in heels and pantyhose. Cheers--- Dawn HH

  5. Chris100575:-) Congratulations on your advancement to the 4" sandals, and yes sandal-toe nylons would look quite nice with them. Sandals don't give enough support---I need a little more sturd. I would love a pair of your patent courts, but I can't balance that style of heel anymore. I was refering to the post promotion 3'5" frumpy boots which will be my next promotion. Those I could scuff around in and be quite happy with. Let's face it ---my days in stiletto heels are gone. Anyways---congratulations and cheers. Dawn HH

  6. Chris100575:-) I don't have to worry about slippery soles as my female boots all have a small ribbing on the bottoms to prevent slipping. They hang onto the peddles just like my male sneekers do. No problem. I don't complicate anything. :D Dawn HH

  7. Bubba136:-) You drive a Vette in 7" heels? WOW!!! I should have an easier time of it since all of my heels are chunky and between 3" and 4". I can't balance stiletto heels anymore. Wish I could. I loved the looks and feel of them. Used them for years. Getting out of a vette in male mode is difficult enough, not counting wearing a skirt and heels when emfemme. I always feel like I'm sitting with my postier on the street, so my method, (no matter how I'm dressed), is to swing my feet out first and place one elbow against the steering wheel and the other against the door frame and launch myself into the street. 8. Missy and Postcode:-) I have been checking out Missy's pictures here in the forum and at the web-site. No matter what she wears, she looks fabulous in it. And Postcode, you are taking some great pictures also. Cheers--- Dawn HH P.S. I particularly like those black patent 3-strap shoes. Unfortunitly, I can't wear anything like that, but they are sure yummy for the eyes. Dawn HH

  9. I myself do not use socks of any kind. I like the look and feel of pantyhose without the socks on my legs as I try to imitate what a lady would wear every day to work and back and out and about. That means pantyhose without socks all year around and in all seasons. I know, some ladies prefer bare legs in the hot seasons, but my legs look and feel better in Therapeutic pantyhose as it sure helps my legs and all of my joints. I don't use socks either in my boots, just pantyhose as my heels and heeled boots fit much better with them. I usually buy nude pantyhose as they better match my skin tone and you still have the feel of the hose and the shine and silkiness. I use the "Silkies" brand. Dawn HH

  10. I wear pantyhose, (tights for the UK), 24/7 and to me they look and feel sexy on me. I have tried thigh-high's, (hold-up's for the UK people), but the jury is still out on them as they would make it a lot easier to do my duties, (if you know what I mean), but I haven't tried them enough to make up my mind on them. I don't think I would wear them to work like I do the pantyhose. Some day I must try a garter belt and some hose if I can find some to fit me and if I could attach them in the rear clips without any assistance. I don't bend and flex like I used to. Dawn HH

  11. I wear heels daily so I have driven my 2003 Mercury Maurader and my 1988 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Wagon many times in heels. I do wear chunky heels and driving in them has become second nature. I really notice the difference when I use a great burst of speed and the accelerator is against the floor, which causes a different sensation in the angle of the foot and ankle. With chunky heels you don't have to worry about damaging the heels as the foot angle keeps the heel back up from the floor. I haven't tried them yet in my Corvette, as it only gets out of the garage in extremely rare occasions as it has been in retirement many years now. From what you people have posted about sport cars, I'll probably be wearing sneekers (trainers for the UK people) when I drive it. Dawn HH

  12. Bubba 136:-) To further my DC-3 story: I was in the service at the time and it would take me 6 months to accrue a 10 day leave. I soon realized that if I would fly home and back, I would have 9 days leave at home. So that is how I got into using the commercial airines. My second leave afforded me the opportunity to fly a Super "G" Constellation aircraft. Needless to say, I didn't need to help this aircraft off of the ground. With it's sleek design, triple tail, tricyle landing gear, and 4 very powerful engines---at the halfway point in the runway, I could feel it pushing me up into the sky with an extremely smooth ride. The engines were very smooth and powerful, and an very enjoyable ride. My next ride was on a Jet-prop aircraft, and was the best yet. On my final leave for home, I graduated to a full jet. All of this happened in the span of two years. Really great flying. Dawn HH

  13. JeffM:-) WOW! GOLLY JEE! Boy, you sure can count your blessings time and again. Eight to ten inches to spare!!!! Just reading that story made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. The wife was reading the posts along with me and after I read it to her, she made the statement---"I don't believe my eyes and ears--- it couldn't be possible" After I described the situation to her, the only thing either of us could come up with was---you must have had an angel on both shoulders. Very hair-raising indeed! :D:( AMAZING!!! Dawn HH

  14. Francis:-) I believe you about Calv storing his shoes under his train layout. It sure does give you a lot of extra storage space for a lot of things. I have a whole closet down the hall to the bedroom where I store all of my girlie things, including shoes and boots. Bubba 136:-) Wearing heels in the train room comes in handy for changing ceiling bulbs and reaching the top display shelves. A few extra inches saves using a small step stool. Dawn HH
