Hi guys and dolls---it's me again:-) Mickey fell in our dining room again by getting her artificial leg and shoe caught on the rug and it tipped her over onto the floor. As the English might say---"Thats not the way to Tip-a-rary"? TEE! HEE! Couldn't resist. Back to basics---When I finally scraped her off of the floor, I ask her if she had hurt herself and she said that she had brushburned her knee on the carpet, but otherwise she was all right. The next couple of days proved different. Thats when the pain set in. I wanted to take her to the emergency room at the hospital to get some x-rays taken but she didn't want to go. This is typical Mickey. Now I'm different as when something happens I go and find out if I am O.K. or not. So far I have been able to "Take a licking and keep on ticking" She didn't tell me this but on the way to the floor a door knob hit her ribcage under her right boob and gave her quite a jolt. She has a very large black and blue mark on her right bicep and several black and blue marks along her right outside arm from her wrist to the elbow. It seems that since she has only one kidney and it is on the right side, that too took a jolt on the way to the floor. Now her kidney isn't working right and she is in much pain which maybe could have been prevented if I could get her to the hospital earlier. Finally the pain was too much and I called her an ambulance and had them cart her to the hospital her protesting or not. That is where she is now and it is too early to tell just how much damage she has and just what can be done to set things straight if possible. I'll let you know when I find out. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Heelguy:-) The pics that you posted all look real good for me. I think that you have hit on something there. Cheers--- Dawn HH

I go along with what Pussyinboots says and for the reasons that she posted. I'm a fan of the pointy toed pump and boot but not the overly pointy toed ones. Just not my bag. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Fan4HH:-) What has been posted is so true. The sooner she knows the better for you. Welcome to the HH Place Forum. Cheers--- Dawn HH

I agree with what Bubba says. I don't think so, but then again, who knows for sure. If they want to then I guess that they can. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Heelguy:-) Great help from the lady waiting on you and the suggestions on fit and sizing. Any chance we can all see just what those shoes look like on your feet? Cheers--- Dawn HH

Way to go, Maninpumps and Steve63130. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Years ago hose was made to be worn with any style heeled shoe or boot. I wore them then just as the ladies were wearing that style then and I tend to wear hose with any style shoe or boot no matter the weather, year around now. Once you get used to it then no problem. I have been around for both eras so maybe I have more to pick and choose from than many. To me, wearing hose is a hygeine thing and it always was. If you wear support hose as I do, then you have a daily massage of your legs and feet which feels great. I know that when I wear hose during a day then my legs and feet feel much better than when I don't. TBG is finding that out for himself and the heeled shoes and boots fit much better than when not wearing hose. But if you think that you shouldn't wear hose in the hot season, more power to you. I can only relate my finds here backed up by years of successful and comfortable heel wearing. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Happyfeat:-) No matter whether you or your wife picked your outfits out or not really doesn't matter. As for both Mickey and myself, we both think that your outfits were outstanding and quite well co-ordinated. You both have a great sense of fashion going there. And you participated at a great group of stores with a great store personnel available. As a aside---we live close to the South Hills Village and are there often. It is also the closest to our home as it is for you. We MUST get together sometime and meet face to face both you and your wife and Mickey and I. Cheers--- Dawn HH Mickey 68
