One of the ladies that volunteers with me at the Science Center always wears a chunky heeled ankle boot with a snip toe in black leather under her black slacks. I know that the heel is only 2.5" high, but I can't help watching her anyways. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Here in Pa. I have seen many times girls wearing sandals in the snow. They must love cold, wet snow-covered feet. Certainly not me. BRRRRR!!! Cheers--- Dawn HH

I remember telling the salesman that the shoes were for my Sister which has since passed on. His reply was that she must have a stubby broad German foot. Being a teenager at that time I didn't try them on and I just paid for them and left without a reply. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Abi:-) 5 cm isn't a whole lot. Most people would notice that you are wearing high heels and may not even notice that one heel is higher than the other. They may think that you may have worn one heel quicker than the other. As long as you are able to wear your heels comfortably and graciously most peope may not notice the differance at all. One of the girls that I work with at the Science Center wore a pair of high heeled boots with a chunky heel and the right one was walking with a pronounced lean to the outside that is noticable to everyone around. I don't know just how she could walk in them at all. I certainly wouldn't wear a pair of boots like that if they were mine. Cheers--- Dawn HH

JeffB:-) I agree with what you say about using insoles as I have some of them inside a few pair of my boots and then I wear some without them. But for me, it is never too hot to wear pantyhose. Enjoy them all year round. Cheers--- Dawn HH

I really enjoy the sound of my heels clicking on the different surfaces that I encounter. But whats really great is seeing the facial expressions on the people that look to see and are expecting a female to be wearing heels, instead it is you a male. Priceless. Cheers--- Dawn HH

TBG:-) I try to get Mickey out more often but she is still shy about other people seeing her artificial leg and is very concious of it. I've told her to forget about it and go out and have fun anyways as she isn't the only one with one leg. Forget what people think or say. She thanks you for your kind words. Just remember one thing. About the time you get real accomplished at riding a motorbike is when you might get a bit careless and not vigilant enough and that bike will come back and bite you no matter how long you may have been a rider. Be careful at all times. You will have to outthink all of the other road users constantly. Cheers--- Dawn HH
