  1. Actually no. It is possible to make the highest quality pair of shoes in the finest possible materials for about £200 tops. I cannot think of anything you can add to the shoe to make it worth more apart from real diamonds perhaps. Charging that sort of money for a pair of shoes is just taking the piss.

  2. All i asked for was examples or pics of women in heels and shorts , all i wanted was to show my wife that the look is ok. iam not forcing her into anything. some women feel more comfortable knowing that other people are doing the same thing. You gonna tell me u never asked ur wife to wear something that she did it just for u?

    Nope, never.

My wife was more than capable of making up her own mind whether she was comfortable wearing certain clothes or not. Pictures would not have helped at all because she would have said "those girls are younger/slimmer/tartier than I am."

She did wear some things she knew that I liked but she was wearing such items when I met her anyway.

  3. Perhaps, but what would that have to do with us then? There are plenty of pictures out there of women in shorts and heels as you proved in your post above. If she is scared of dressing in that way, it brings me back to my original question doesn't it? FWIW, I think the look is awesome too but I really cannot see why any woman would be scared of wearing heels with shorts any more than they would to wear them with a skirt.

  4. Be bloody careful. That is by far the very worse place for a guy to wear heels.

You only have to come across a small pack of knuckle heads when there is no one else around and you will probably be in serious trouble. The very best places to go are crowded shopping areas (believe it or not).

Actually, a deserted trading estate is probably the worse place for anyone to wear heels.

  5. They look like the sort of thing that a lot of theses "Italian" fly-by-night firms seem to do on Ebay. They have an Italian name and list in Italian but it turns out they're based in Turkey, Germany or Russia or somewhere. They will list stuff with a $1,800 buy it now, then list the same things in a separate auction and watch the prices go up to $400 or more for boots that are probably only cost them $90 or so.

  6. Others, outside of myself, MIGHT be willing to pay excessive amounts for a pair of footwear.

Myself? The cap is a lot lower.

Heres *my* belief and it should in no way be viewed as anything other then what it basically states..

I see people whom are homeless. I see people whom have lost jobs ( all to many as of late ).

I now see people whom rave and drool over 500-1000$ pairs of shoes and some might even buy them?

Its *their* money, I understand such and they can buy whatever they want. It doesnt mean I will invite them or their ' precious/snobby ' attitudes into my home.

We can all complain about cheap knockoffs and other peoples bad tastes in footware till we run into that person whom has no legs. It makes things ' real ' .

But will you invite a homeless person into your home?

(I do know what you're trying to say BTW! LOL)
