  1. Thanks for the input. I purchased these online, which I realize is part of the problem. I didn't have time to into the store where my wife knows the manager. I've been doing some "research" during my lunch hour and have see many different amounts of toe showing. Also saw one where the toes were over the front of the heel. And yes, it look tacky. What I have gathered so far is my preference is to show more toe with a french manicure and less with fully painted nails. Now I just need to get the wife to give me the OK to get a french manicure.

  2. With all the shoes and heels my wife has gotten from Aerosoles, she recently received a coupon for $30 off any order. Not having an immediate need for anything, she asked if I wanted anything. Not wanting to let "free" money go to waste, I was on the computer in no time. I settled on the heel called Winsome. The first photo is from the website. The second is me wearing them. Since it is the summer time, I don't shave my legs because everyone in our neighborhood has always seen me with hairy legs. Now to my question. Given my toes don't "peep" out that much with these heels, I started to wonder what is the "rule of thumb" for showing the right amount of toe? I know this is a subjective issue, and I have not been able to determine what is the correct look by watching ladies walk in peep toe heels. What are your thoughts? As an aside, the heels are a size 11. I'm wondering if a 10.5 wide would have been a better fit.

  3. My love affair with heels started within the last three years, but I have been wearing them since the mid 1990's. I started wearing heels as an item to help complete my outfits when I crossdressed. At the time, I didn't pay attention to style or heel height. I had three sets of heels, 6-inch thigh high stelleto boots, 4-inch clear "pole dancer style" platforms, and simple black 2.5 inch pumps. The thigh highs were small and cut off the blood flow to my toes if I wore them to long. Also, I couldn't walk in them very well, almost broke my ankle once. The 4-inch platforms were small such that my toes would hang over the front. The platforms in my avatar were borrowed from a female friend that like to help me dress at times. The pumps were too big and always slipped off. While my wife and I were dating, she began helping me get the correct shoe sizes and styles that were more appropriate with my outfits. Her only requirement was I didn't go out in public, which I had no problem with because I was one ugly girl. Now fast forward to a few years ago and I no longer crossdress. The main reasons is our kids and I also came to the conclusion that my taste have matured. I no longer wanted to be that slutty looking "girl" and now are happy being myself as a balding 40 something year old male, who wears heels every now and then. After our last kid, my wife re-entered the work force and she needed new clothing, including heels. She found Aerosoles to be her favorite, and I got her into heels higher than 1.5 inches. A win-win outcome. She knew my tastes had changed because I would, and still do, point out heels on other women and comment that I think they would look good on her. Knowing this, she has helped me grow my collection to a pair of 2.5-inch boots, a 3-inch, 2.5-inch and 1.5 inch pair of sandles, and a 1.25 inch walking shoe. Now I just need to wait about two decades for the kids to be completely out of the house so I can begin enjoying wearing heels during the day on a regular base and not worry about the click-click of the heels on the hard wood floors.

  4. After my adventure this past weekend, I figured I would attempt to vote in the pole. I, however, but can not figure out how to cast a vote. My vote is my wife approves of my wearing heels..... as long as I don't break any of the ground rules. Given she selected a pair for me, introducted me to the store manager where she ordered the shoes from, I have to say you can not get much more supportive than that.

  5. My wife has been great with my heel wearing. She has set some ground rules like never wearing anything in public that can attract attention to me/us, and never around our children. But she has also bought me a few pairs from time to time. For the past year, I have been looking for something that would allow me to wear a heel during the day that would not be noticable. So over the weekend, the wife got me these heels from Aerosoles. The style is called Songbook and has a 1.25 inch heel. Not a "high" heel, but not a flat either. She would always claim this brand of shoe is the most comfortable she has ever worn, and I now have to agree with her. I posted a picture of the shoes in the thread "Who has bought some new shoes". Of course I had to try them on the minute she presented them to me. The kids were at the grandparents for springbreak. After walking around the house for a hour or so, she ask if I want to take them for a test run to the local shopping center to return some stuff. Given the rules she has, I did not hesitate at all to take her up on this opportunity, but had to wonder why the change. My jeans covered most of the heel and while looking in the mirror, I figured no one would know they were womans shoes. When we got to the center, one of the stores the wife had to go to was the Aerosoles store to return a pair of wedge boots she had gotten for herself. I really didn't want to go in at first thinking the sales people would notice right away the style of shoe I had on. The wife told me I had to meet the manager because she was so helpful in selecting the pair of shoes I was wearing. My mind started racing with so many thoughts after that statement. Was my wife going to make a fool of me, was she openning up, was she going to leave me, etc? The look on my face must have said it all because she reassured me nothing was going to happen. Once in the store I was happy to see there was no one there but the manager, Tina. Tina came over with a big smile on her face telling me she was in on the event. After some small talk, Tina asked me how the heels fit. Lifting up a pant leg, I showed her the shoes and stated they are the best heels I own to date. At this point, my wife begins to tell me how Tina helped her get the correct size and style. It just so happens, Tina's husband also wears heels, which started after she openned up the store. After looking at a few of the other styles of heels in the store, Tina allowed me to try on a few in the back of the store. I ordered a sandle which should come in about a week. Now, when I ask the wife about how did she and Tina get on the subject, she won't tell me the whole story. She just smiles and says Tina and her husband are going to become very good friends of ours. Once again my mind started to race. Hopefully it will provide plenty of events to write threads about.

  6. I just got these in the mail the other day thanks to my wife. She knew I was looking for something that I could wear in public that wouldn't attract attention. The shoes are called Songbook by Aerosoles. They have a 1.25 inch heel and are so comfortable. The most comfortable pair of heels I own. When I wear them with my jeans, you can not tell they are a womans or mens shoe.

  7. I got a simple under the bust corset from Glamour Boutique in Las Vegas about six years ago. I have always liked the feeling being laced up. I can not remember the manufactures name, but I know it was a european company and I spent about $300 on it. It is currently in storage due to home repairs. My wife has even tight laced me a few time for short periods of time. I noticed when she did it, my lower ribs don't compress enough to give that true hour glass look. I'm hoping by the end of 2011 to have a custom made corset for the wife (need to save up for it) and myself. I'm thinking of getting her a corset that creates more of a V look because she has great hips. I would always wear the corset with black stockings and a pair of black, 5 inch heels that has a 2 inch platform.

  8. We (I'm including my wife as part of this since she helps me pick out heels, and wears them too) have two friends (one guy and one girl) that know I wear heels. Our male friend claims he wears heels when he crossdresses, but we have never actually seen him wear heels. Our female friend has seen me in a pair of open toe pumps while wearing guy jeans and a polo shirt. I was getting some "heel time" in at home while the kids were at school when she stopped by to give something to my wife. Knowing she is a bit into the alternative life style, I figured she wouldn't be put off by me being in heels. She liked the look and suggested we go shopping someday. I may have to take her up on the offer.

  9. I've always been a high heel guy, but this weekend my wife and I are going to shopping for some flats for both of us. The other day, she got an old pair of hers out and the leather was cracked. They are simple in design, black leather with a square toe. I commented that the flats could almost pass for a guys pair of shoes. Seeing the interest I had in them, she said we should go shopping to find some new flats and if we're lucky maybe the store will have the same pair in both our sizes.

  10. When I was in school, I found the box spring a great place to hide things. I cut a small openning in the fabric just big enough to slip a piece of card board in. The card board was long enough to rest across the wood slats of the box spring. I was able to hide three pairs of heels.

  11. I would say I wear heels in secret, but it is a secret from the public. My wife approves, and has even purchased me some heels for me. I keep my heels in an under-the-bed shoe storage box along with her heels so the kids won't think anything about it.

  12. Hello everyone. I'm new to this site, but a long time high heel lover. My heeling days started back when I began dating my wife almost twenty years ago. We met in collage and while exploring our sexual creative sides, I would always want her to wear heels. So one time she turned the cards on me and said if I wanted her to wear heels then I had to wear them too. I think she was hoping to get out of wearing them, but I accepted the challenge. The next day we went shopping and I got a pair of black, 3-inch strap sandles. Loved them. In the years that followed, I purchased some boots, platforms, and more sandles. When we had kids, most of my heels were donated when they got of the age to notice "why does daddy have mommy's shoes on?" A direct statement from our oldest when she was about four. Currently my heel wearing is very limited due to the duties of family life. About very two years I travel for my work and thats when I get to walk freely...around the hotel room.
