  1. My wife got me a pair of Aerosoles Ride Line boots for my birthday last month.  Last week was the first time I wore them to work. It was great sitting at my desk with my paints tucked in. I did not have the courage to wear them this way when I had to get up, so I put my pants back on the outside of the boots. Here are two photos showing both styles.

I like them so much, I figured it was time to change my profile picture.

  2. Steve,

I've been practicing when I can. The only time I can truely work at it is when I am home and the kids are at school. I will help do the household cleaning, and walking in the heels is working. She has said I don't bounce as much anymore. Unfortunately, her mom has been with us for the past few months, so I haven't gotten any serious heeling time in. With winter coming, I'm hinting she needs a new pair of boots, and maybe, just maybe, we can find that matching pair as a Christmas gift to ourselves.

  3. Per my wife, women can spot a heel brand just by looking at them. I have not developed this talent. I do notice aerosoles only when a woman is sitting where I can see the bottom of the heel and identify the diamond pattern that is typical of the brand.

  4. With today being Halloween, I figured I would wear my Aerosoles Accomplishment dress shoes to work. These are one pair of flats that my wife has no problem with me wearing, and they are almost identical to my mens oxford dress shoes. I've worn them many times to work with no issues, or people saying anything. Normally, when I do wear them, I bring my lunch to the office and eat at my desk.

Today, however, I went out for lunch at Subway and sat at one of the tall tables with bar stool chairs. While I ate and read my Kindle, a woman comments to me "Nice shoes" as she fills up her cup with ice. I reply back "Thank you. They are the most comfortable dress shoes I own." She replies "I know" as she sticks out her foot. She was wearing the same thing. We breifly talked about the brand and how comfortable they are. After some small talk, she asked if I wear any higher heels. I told her I have a pair of 2-inch t-strap heels from Aerosoles, but do not wear them outside at the requiest of my wife. She asked how supportive my wife is, and I explained we have established certain rules, but overall she is supportive and helps purchase heels for me. The gal was impressed, said enjoy lunch, and as she started to leave said it would be a shame if those T-strap heels never see the outdoors.

Overall, I have to say she appeared to genuinely be intrigued with a guy wearing womens shoes. It was a great feeling to be able to talk so openly with someone other than my wife about wearing heels.

  5. Isn't a one inch heel considered a heel, just not a "high" heel? Ha, Ha.

On a serious note, I have two pairs of flats that have a one inch heel. I purchased these with my wife assistance. Her requirement was the heels had to look "passable" as a man's shoe. While she is supportive of my high heel wearing, she is not comfortable with me wearing them outside of the house at this time. With the flats, she has no issues when I wear them. Several times I have asked her if we could go to a shoe store together and get matching boots. Normally she says "No way", but recently she has started saying if I can walk better in my high heals, then she might consider the idea.

  6. I saw a guy wearing platform wedge heels for the first time in Home Depot. He was dressed in womens attire (sweater, skirt, leggings), and over all looked good. From a distance he looked like a woman. What made him stand out was how tall he was. He had to be close to 7 feet tall with the heels. The wedges were four inch with a one inch platform, which mean he was about 6-4ish with out the heels. I'm 5-11 and was at least a head below him.

  7. Shrimper, I got my Songbooks about two years ago. My wife said Aerosoles rotates their shoes every so often. We both like Wish List. She said they would look good under both of our jeans. I also like the Accomplishment. The shoes look similar to a pair of men's dress shoes I have. hh_pe

  8. So it has been one year since we moved out of our house. The townhouse feels like it is getting smaller by the day with growing kids. The good news is the strategy paid off financially. We are now in the position to purchase a home, about a year sooner than we planned. I'm sure if we stayed longer, we could do even better, but my mother in-law is still with us. It's just time. To celebrate the milestone, I wore my songbook's to work with shear nylons under my jeans. About 3/4 of the office was out today at a training seminar, so I took advantage of it and enjoyed a day of "low" heeling. Hopefully we will find a house soon, and one with a separate in-laws house in the back.

  9. My interest in heels was a result of my crossdressing fetish. My dressing started when I was a young boy, about 13 or 14, when I would try on my mom's tights and unitard she wore to aerobics. I wasn't able to fit into her shoes really well at that time. When I got into college, I was able to purchase more clothing for myself, but it usually was things like nylons or bodystockings. Then I got lucky and started dating a wonder girl who was open minded about my dressing desires and helped me expand my wardrobe. Today, she is my wife. She purchased my first heels, black pumps with a 2-inch heel. She said if I wanted to learn how too be more lady like, then I needed to learn how to walk comfortably in heels. Over the years, the height of the heel would increase with the highest heel being a pair of 6-inch thigh high boots. Then one year, I just stopped being interested in dressing and got rid of almost everything related to crossdressing, including most of my heels. I did keep a few low height heels and found I really enjoyed wearing them in the evening while working at the computer. When we would go out, I would pay attention to what other women wore and would point out pairs I thought looked classy.  Then as my wife's heel collection grew, I occasionally would replace an older pair of mine with something new. Since my wife really likes Aerosoles shoes, I've come to appreciate how comfortable the shoes are when compared to men's shoes.

  10. This been about six months since we made the move. Our kids have settled in real well. Several of their classmates live in the complex so it always seams like a constant play date for them. The only consistent thing with my in-laws is their inconsistency. The wife and I were able to get away to Vegas for a few days at the end of July. I took my heels (Aerosols Prologue), but didn't wear them outside of the hotel room. Prior to going, I spoke with my wife about the idea of wearing them under my jeans while we went to a show. She was okay with the idea and even suggested we could go to one of the outlet malls and look for matching heels. However, once we got there, with the heat and thunderstorms, all we wanted to do was walk around in is shorts and sandals. We never made it to the outlet stores. Maybe next time.

  11. I've been hinting at the idea again of shaving my legs to my wife. She still wants me to keep them the way they are because that is how she likes to see me. So for now, it is dark tights to cover up the hair. When I get the chance again, I will try white or tan tights to better show off the heels.

  12. Gallux No problems on "borrowing" this post, as the others have said, we are all here to help each other. Feel free to continue using this post to express yourself, or start a new one. We will provide support anyway we can, as one comment from someone will spur an idea for an other.

  13. Gallux, I have to agree with Jorisken, telling your wife before you got married would have been wise. I too am not attempting to bring down your marrage. I hope you have a very happy and long one. I realize I am very lucky my wife is open to my heel wearing. I told her when we were dating in college about my desires and how I Iiked to see women wearing high heels. She set a few ground rules and I have had no problems living with them. The key for us has been honesty and constant, open communication. I hope you will have a moment in the future to be able to explain your heel wearing to your wife, and that she accepts it.

  14. I got lucky, sort of...... This past weekend, all of us (Wife, kids, mother-in-law) went out to diner at the Olive Garden. As we were getting ready to leave, my wife told me she found my Aerosoles Songbook flats while at the storage locker and wondered if I would like to wear them. As if she had to ask. Even though the shoes are not really high heels with a 1-1/4 inch heel, it was still great to wear them. I now have them in a shoe box in the shoe closet just waiting for the next time I can get them out. Still hoping for a moment to wear a higher heel, but it doesn't look like I will get a chance any time soon. My in-law's appear to be on the divorce path.

  15. Thanks for the kind words. Yes it is a temporary bummer, but the payoff should be worth it in the long run. I just keep dreaming of a bigger house with his and her walk-in closets. Both filled with heels. Gotta have dreams. My wife understands the stress her mother gives me, and what seems like on a daily bases, she is saying how lucky she is to have me as a husband. I keep saying back that it is I who are the lucky one to have her because she lets me explore various fetishes and she is willing to participate in them. We both realize the situation we are in can, and most likely will, put a strain on our marrage so we are keeping open minds and talking a lot more about everything. We are also making more time for "date nights" to get out. One bonus of having a full time live in mother in law is we have a full time baby sitter. Maybe one on of these "date nights", I might be able to sneak in some heeling. :nervous:

  16. So tonight was the last night I am probably going to be able to wear heels freely around the house for some time. As you can see in the photo, our house is a mess. The reason is we are moving out of it and into the townhouse I've been working on for the last several months. My wife and I determined it was better to down size and get our finances back on solid ground. What complicates the issue is in the last two months, my mother-in-law has had a falling out with her husband and determined she would now live with us full time. Given the townhouse is smaller (house: 2,100 sqaure feet; townhouse: 1,300 sqaure feet) I can not take the chance wearing my heels at night. My wife does not want her mom finding me in heels, so to keep the peace, I've agreed to place them in the self storage unit we are renting. With some luck, I am hoping to purchase a bigger home in about 2 years. High on the list will be an in-law room that is on a sperate floor than the master bedroom. So for the near future, I'm going to have to "live" through the stories and photos the rest of you post on this forum. post-5869-0-95558300-1363851747_thumb.jp
