  1. the only knee-high hose i wear are leggs sheer energy. on average, i'd say i get a dozen wearings out of each. i am careful about rough skin and sharp nails, and otherwise treat them normally. perhaps she needs a larger size? this would reduce the amount of stress on the fibers.

  2. i guess my only issue is the mixing of styles. the shirt is masculine casual the skirt is feminine casual the hose & heels are feminine non-casual therefore (to me): the shirt and skirt combine ok the skirt, hose and heels combine ok the shirt, skirt, hose and heels don't work i hope that helps. that's my opinion... then again, opinions are like @$$h0le$. we all have one, and yours stinks. (it's a joke. b4 anybody starts getting offended.)

  3. i'm reminded of a shop in chicago (late 80s/early 90s, don't know if it still exists) that catered to larger size women with upscale and sexy-looking streetwear. not like fredericks' but classy and sexy clothing appropriate for work/shopping/events. anyhow, they were struggling and about to give up (close shop) when they were discovered by the crossdressing community. suddenly they were not just back in business, they were BOOMING! i remember hearing about the shop, and decided to try it out. it was a near-northside address, residential neighborhood, simple storefront location. nothing screamed "TRANSVESTITES SHOP HERE", it just looked like any other store. i went in male mode (at the time i was experimenting with actually appearing female, so there WAS a distinction) and there were a couple of other shoppers, one obviously male and the other appearing female. the clerk greeted me, asked if i was looking for anything in specific, and advised me to call if i needed help. i probably spent about 30 minutes there, ended up asking a BUNCH of questions when the clerk wasn't busy with other shoppers. she made me feel very comfortable and even advised me on cosmetics and beard-cover. at no time did i feel as if i was pressured to make a purchase, but did end up getting a couple of books regarding crossdressers and their spouses/partners. i guess the point of all this rambling is that i was made to feel comfortable in a situation where i could EASILY have been spooked enough to bolt out the door. obviously, their success was largely due to this kind of atmosphere and stands in marked contrast to the experience related by HappyinHeels. the payless store near me has a delightful staff that doesn't care one bit that i'm trying on heels. just that i'm in their store. THAT pays the bills!

  4. Hi all!

I have stumbled across these and am currently having the urge to purchase...!

    Problem is....snipsnipsnipsnip...

    c. A scour of Ebay has pulled up one pair, and again they are in the States which means the Tax man will get his chunk of my money - when they have them in my size... :)

    ...snipsnipsnipsnip...

    Thanks!

okay, just HOW does the taxman get his chunk? would it be worth having them mailed to a stateside friend (winkwinknudgenudge) then having them mailed again to you?

kinda unfamiliar with how that all works for your tax purposes...

  5. crocs and uggs... own both. wear both. think they are just about the most comfortable footwear ever. i wouldn't own them if they sacrificed any of their comfort for style, but would be happier if they had more of the latter. again, different forks for different storks. and keep YOURS out of MINE!

  6. well, since we're voicing opinions... pretty face nice body killer legs boring song sounds like demo tape video style changes without matching changes in song style video does have interesting imagery her outfit and the shoe were a good match for me the outfit needed SOME color (besides black, ye smart-mouthes) she can sit in the shoes she can sing in the shoes she can stand in the shoes i wish she could move in the shoes her voice is better suited to being a back-up singer all in all, i'd rather see her in a porn video

  7. nope never seen that. but i have seen some with both legs gone still buying shoes.

sorry. got to admit i immediately envisioned the shoe salesman (looking a lot like al bundy) looking at her, looking at the shoes, looking at her, looking at the shoes...

    "you gonna try them on?"

  8. I concur with Tech that this in NOT a fetish forum, we just like discussing high heels in a "non-fetish" way, and I would add that it is rather too personal a question to ask a lady in the first place, call me old fashioned if you will but I still hold women in the highest regard and respect them totally.

    wait just half a sec...

we're supposed to respect women? <incoherent muttering> now, does "respect" exclude keeping a woman, say, in the basement? or in a box? it's a smallish box, but she's got airholes and can wriggle a bit if she doesn't mind blocking the air supply whilst she's wriggling.

it might be damp since the flooding, but there's no rodents and very few insects. at least when i was checking.

    fine fine fine

bloody women. love 'em or leave 'em and it's ok, but keep onefor a few months in a box with her own air supply and people start pointing and calling the police...

MAVIS! LET'S GO OUT, SHALL WE? <stomping down stairs> now where did i put that box cutter?

gods, the things we do for women...

  9. have to say i don't like skorts. i can only think of one positive idea for them, that being when you want the appearance of a skirt but may be in some physically challenging activity that might compromise your dignity. but as an old friend told me: "when wearing a skirt, always wear underwear you don't mind others being able to see".

  10. I am not so sure about that...

    snipsnipsnipsnipsnipsnipsnipsnipsnipsnipsnipsnip

...I became a person to them in essence, not solely defined by my footwear.

    snipsnipsnipsnipsnipsnipsnipsnipsnipsnipsnipsnip

I know the tired old assumptions - you are gay, you have a foot fetish, you want to be a woman, you are living a fantasy for your 3rd grade teacher - who knows.

    <i get it...SOLE...FOOTWEAR...hehhehhehheh>

so, i'm gay, want to be a woman, have a foot fetish, and have a fantasy ABOUT MRS HENRIETTA?!?!? ohmydearjesusgodhelpmeshe'shideousoldanddeadthankgodmywifedoesn'tknow

  11. my thoughts/opinions...

black or red shoes, no difference. they are too delicate looking FOR MY TASTES, but if you like them then they both seem fine.

the skirt might be too short. i don't usually show that much leg. personal comfort zone is usually below the knee, but i too will wear shorter skirts (even mini) on occasion.

the sleeveless look is not as good as the dress shirt. definitely makes you appear like you tried to look like a woman, but couldn't quite make it all the way.

once again, these are personal opinions.

opinions are like assholes: everybody has one, and most stink.
