  1. i have an interview for a potential job coming up next week. this position would be with the same company i am currently employed with, but a completely seperate division. it is a technical position that i am fairly well qualified for, and i have taught some of the principle portions of this position when i worked for another company. the decision i am faced with is: should i go dressed in my "sunday best" (pants, etc...), or should i present myself as i normally am (skirt, etc...) ? this position would be a lateral change (little to no change in pay), but would give more time to be with my family. the company i work for, and the state i work in, both have a STRICT gender-expression anti-discriminatin law/policy. but we all know how that can often work. any ideas/input/experiences? r1g0r (in a situation i've never been in before...)

  2. guys, it's GREAT to read about somebody doing/wearing whatever they like. i'm closing in on 50 years old, and i've been wearing skirts & heels & nails & hosiery & make-up & jewelry for years now. to the point where my co-workers are actually SHOCKED & CONFUSED if i wear pants to work. i get questions & compliments from folks who know me, stares from dip-sticks on the street, and complete acceptance from my wife & sons. i guess i'm a lucky guy. malehhwearer, i'd love to hear more of what you wear & do. you sound like a kindred soul to mine! r1g0r

  3. a properly clad hippie/ballerina/punk/boho girl, wearing leg-warmers, can be soooo sexy. anybody who can't agree with this simply HASN'T seen it properly done! oh my god, to remember helene. in 1982, she was the ULTIMATE in leg-warmer chic. forget about porn-queens, super-models, or even BETTY PAGE. this woman was an epitome of hippie ballerina sexuality. if i could have convinced her, she would be mine right now! r1g0r (quietly remembering, with an inward tear)

  4. ok, get it out of your system. go ahead & throw [whatever] at me. i love stirrups. :D stirrup pants stirrup leg-warmers stirrup tights i don't know why, but i think they are sexy to wear & to look at. a woman wearing stirrups around me has my undivided (if covert) attention, and if wearing hosiery under the stirrups will be ato SEE the effect she has on me. am i just a pervert, or a throw-back to the 70's/80's ?

  5. when the weather gets comfortable again (northern wisconsin is hovering around 32f/0c) i'll be wearing mine again. i'm fortunate to work in an environment where my supervisors HAVE to be accepting and supportive of the individual, so it's a good bit easier than for a lot of other folks. r1g0r (not my real name)

  6. if we accept that there is a genetic link to homosexuality (or crossdressing or any other variant that we seem to see over & over), then we may have to accept the possibility that for the better part of the last century we have been ACTIVELY breeding more homosexuals (and etc...). the only accepted behavior for the last 100 years or more has been to get married and produce children. even homosexuals followed this pattern, possibly because it was the only option shown to them or the consequences for being known as gay were severe (often fatal). therefore, they married and had kids. no blame attached here, just a statement of fact. anything else was unacceptable. their children often saw that dad was "different" from other fathers, but this was accepted. these children have the genetic link handed to them by their parents, just as we get left-handedism or red hair or bad teeth. the good with the bad. these kids also see that "men" marry "women" and have "families". therefore they perpetuate the pattern. it wasn't until the last couple of decades that homosexuality has become more open and accepted. NOW, the homosexual or lesbian is more likely to seek out others of their own kind. strangely enough, if gay people marry other gay people they are LESS likely to produce children and hand down their genetic traits. in essence, if left alone to follow their own choices homosexuality could be reduced DRASTICALLY simply because the genetic trait would not be passed from generation to generation because people are forced to mimic behavior that is not natural for them. we have all heard stories of young people discovering that one of their parents was attracted to their own sex, and wondering if they "inherited" their OWN homosexuality from their parent. this could be more accurate than we have ever thought possible. the tales of "well, you know your father enjoyed wearing a dress and heels but only around the house when he was alone" may be a clue to the answers a lot of people are searching for. it may also provide the guidance to many other people who can't figure out how to deal with other people's behavior. after all, you don't blame somebody who's a hemophiliac or who is tall or has any one of a million other genetically-indicated traits or diseases. it's in their genes. r1g0r (trying to remember if he ever saw dad in a skirt or heels)
