  1. Skymaster. Please keep up the photos. They are great. Hate photos of naked women and heels - so false. Love to see some photos of everyday shoes that you wife wears. The sort you might wear to the shopping mail. Cheers Fred PS love the ankle tattoo.

  2. Hi,

Just thought I would introduce myself as a new member here.

Well – I am based in Scotland near Edinburgh, although I am English – so I am a foreigner in a foreign town!

I am into most things sexy really, with heels playing an important part, both for work & play.

Although I like the very sexy – bimbo type look, because of work (I am a senior manager) I tend to wear the usual business suits – sexy in their own way I guess, so my work shoes tend to be standard court shoes – My “old” pair have 4 3/8” heels, my usual pair 4 3/4, and my newest pair (actually identical to my old pair) 4 7/8” - It is surprising how replacing the heel tips slowly reduces the heel – never noticed until I just measured them!

I only have one pair of work shoes with a low heel – about 1” – my safety shoes for site meetings (Yes steel toe caps, chemical resistance soles etc.) for site work and some meetings I have the standard rubber Wellington safety boots – these look soo sexy – NOT!

For the business type (informal) meetings I tend to wear quality classic style dresses, again with similar heels, or slightly higher. For non-business events, like out for meals with my partner etc., I tend to wear more revealing dresses, separates, or tight jeans and tops, and then wear almost my highest heels, - so about 5 ½”, although I have worn my 6” heels once or twice – these are generally left for in the home only.

More recently I have been wearing the higher heels more, and looking at ballet boots (having just ordered my first pair), so I guess I just ought to seek like-minded people.

So I “joined-up” a week or so ago, and just looked around to gauge the board.

BTW I use the name BlondeBimbo, as it is quite appropriate – Yes I am Blonde!

    BB

Welcome to the board. Love to hear more about your heel wearing experiences? Are you from a heel wearing family? what do you like and hate about heels?

Also are you on MSN or AOL Mesenger?

    All the Best

    Fred

  3. Hi Vanity Welcome back. It’s fantastic to have real women who wear wonderful heels contributing on this board again. Keep up the posting! Especially interested to hear more about (and perhaps some pictures) of your everyday heels. All the Best Fred

  4. To minority of men who feel they know more about heel wearing about than seasoned wearers such as Vanity. Please think before you post, and please be less dogmatic. I am not surprised that Vanity and others females are upset by some of the posts. It’s not just a ‘simple misunderstanding’. A minority of posts come across as best as overbearing and as worse offensive/opinionated. It’s best to remember that for most women heels/shoes are a looks/fashion thing and not a fetish thing. In the space of 24 hours two females of the half a dozen or so of females that regularly post on this board have said they intend to stop posting. This is very sad. All the Best to everyone on this board, and let’s all to try to keep it positive and to topic. Fred Fred

  5. Just a quick note to say welcome! Anne Lousie you sound like an amazing heel wearer. It would be great to hear more of you your experiences in heels, and what made you start wearing them. Also please tell us more what it’s like to stand all day in such heels!! All the Best Fred

  6. Hi Ninni (Vanity) Thank you for the reply. I assumed you where a florist in a shop rather than someone who prepares the flowers. Given your tendons your platform shoes sound very practical – would be great to see a photo. Is standing all days in heels ever a problem? What do the people you work with think? Do they wear heels/ As I said before I would love to hear some of your high heeled stories from your 30 years in heels. Thanks Fred

  7. Hi Vanity In one of your earlier posts you mention that you have lots high heel stories you could tell. It would be great to hear some of these stories. You also say that you are a florist. Do your heels ever give you a problem at work? What about when you started wearing heels? Thanks and All the Best Fred

  8. I thought it might be fun to have some heel related discussions on an Xmas theme. I for one will be given my wife HH ankle boots as one of her presents, but I doubt she will be wearing on what I suspect will be a very hectic Christmas morning. Some initial thoughts for discussions:- 1. Wearing heels whilst cooking the Christmas Diner? 2. Wearing special heels over the holiday period? Perhaps when going out? 3. Receiving or giving heels as a present? Happy Xmas Fred

  9. Thank you for all the feedback. It’s interesting that the problem seems to be when you are standing in one place. I like Debbie’s explanation, of why this causes a problem. Does anyone have a job, which involves a lot of standing in Heels? I take it from the replies that walking all day in heels, say when shopping is not a problem? How is your choice of footwear affected by what the likelihood of standing or walking? Have you ever got it wrong?!

  10. What is it like to stand (or walk) for long lengths of time in heels? Perhaps as part of your job, or when out socially. Is this something you get used to with practice, or do your feet still ache? How long are you standing for, and what style/height do you wear? I’m always impressed when I see a shop worker wearing 4” or above heels.

  11. I would like to say how much I respect Susan. What she has achieved is quite amazing. I can quite understand that she does not feel happy to make regular posts, or appear in the chat room, given some of postings that have happened over the years. This is a great pity, as she has so much to contribute. She is also an excellent writer. Perhaps one day she will write a book of her life. Another option would for her to have her own web site. Please come back Susan. Cheers Fred

  12. Perhaps I shouldn’t ask this question on a HH bulletin board, but I will anyway! Over the last few weeks I’ve seen a number of women wear flat pumps with very pointed toes. These are not kitten heels, but flats or very low-heeled shoes. If it were not for the toes shape they would be boring shoes that you would not notice. As it is the toe shape makes then noticeable. Has anyone worn such shoes? From a wearing point of view how do they compare to shoes with heels? Certainly they look as if they must squash the toes, if anything more than traditional heeled shoes. I think similar shoes where popular in 50/60’s. Cheers Fred

  13. The impression I get is that number of the contributors to this message board have worn heels for many years. One of the things I wonder is to what extent you feet have assumed a high heels shape? If this has happened to you does it makes and difference to wearing heels, and also pointed toes? Do you like the shape of you feet? I’m posting this message on both this new board, and the old board. It will be interesting to see which gets the most (if any) responses! Cheers Fred
