    Hi Nina I am posting here as I am not allowed to post in the girls forum.

    Did anyone watch the Royal wedding highlights on the BBC on Friday evening? Sophie Raworth was wearing marvellous beige stiletto court shoes with really long slender heels. They must have been at least five-and-a-half inch with no platforms - her insteps were near vertical in them!!! They used to accuse her of being slightly frumpy - those shoes have put paid to that!! Does anyone know what make they are?? I see Julie Etchingham on ITV was also wearing really high beige stilettos too, though her's were slingbacks.....

    Yes I see what you mean. :smile: Very high and pointed shoes. Made her knees quite high in the video. Wonder what made her choose such high shoes, as she wouild be wearing them for 8 hours+ - takes dedication or a lot of vanity!

    Wonder what make/style they are? Are they a similar height to the Schuh Lois Point Heels?

    We will be going out with our friend who introduced us to a theartre this evening. I have a lot to thank her for although she does not know about his heels but does know he's a massive fan of them.

    Is she also a high heel wearer? As high high as you?

    Must be hard to know if you should mention your hubby's love of heels.

    This is made clear on a popular TV show here in the states. CSI, the original one, has a character Catherine Willows (played by Marg Helgenberger) who in her earlier days was a stripper who then used the money to finance her way through forensic training. I have no doubt that fiction springs from truth.

    There are some days where I wish I could just take off my clothes to make money and leave the high tech world behind. If I did this, I would probably be sacked.. literally. LOL

    You let your husband go out in public with you wearing them. Birmingham shopping tomorrow, I will be wearing my 4'' black and grey knee boots and hubby is wearing his chunky heeled boots about 3 and a half inch I think so he will be in a good mood so right time to ask for new clothes and shoes.

    Just an update:The last two or three days I have been walking absolutely miles in them -around the shops, supermarkets and down the street. Even running when necessary!! Despite salt and bits of ice and general muck on the pavements, they clean up easy and still look really classy. The plastic heel tips seem really hard and durable as there is no real wear on them yet. Mind you, the heels are so high that a little bit less weight bias goes onto them. The 'Schuh' emblem is wearing off a bit on the insoles as my feet do get quite hot.Now that they are broken in I can't ask for anything more comfortable. I think they are even more comfy than my four and a half inch New Look stilettos, which are fine. I've had them on for more than sixteen hours some days!!!Might even buy another pair!!

    Mrs F had a wonderful outfit on Christmas Day, a tight fitting black dress over a pair of silky leggings and a pair of strappy black shoes she kept on from 9 in the morning till midnight. I just had to take a picture of the shoes to show you all what my eyes were focused on for most of the day.

    High heels for interviews?

    Not had an interview for a few years but at my last one I must have worn 5'' heels as that's my normal shoes. I probably wore trousers over them so the heel would have been mostly hidden. I got the job so must have been ok.

    As others have said I think it's about the whole outfit and overall look.

    What job was the interview for? Do you think if they had noticed your 5" heels they might have made a comment?

    Hello everybody, I have always wore high heels since my teens and don't like wearing shoes without a heel less than 4''. I am married to Foxyheels as you can guess by my name.

    I have several pairs of shoes and boots that are 5'' or more and wear them out all the time. A lot of women always say they don't know how I manage to walk in them but I don't notice it.

    I don't have to ask twice when buying high heels as hubby is always willing to oblige.

    Hubby is jealous that I just put them on every time I go out and I tell him it's up to him if he wants to wear his.

    It's will be nice to know about other couples who wear heels and I look forward to talking to the girls.

    Hi All,

    I'm 30+ guy (with family:smile:) and i love high heeled womens - my wife especially.

    Ultra high heels are my "fetish" from almost 10 years.

    This forum is fabulous and i think this is the place for me.

    English is not my native language, so please forgive me some mistakes.

    Hi there well I love to dress like lady should, I wear stockings and high heels everday to work and also for pleasure...

    Why do ladies only dress up for weddings or parties, A lady is not a lady unless wearing heels..

    Welcome to HH Place. I agree with the other posters it's got a lot to do with the pace of life. Also a lot of people put comfort/practicality first. Agree heels look great all the time :)

    Hi All

    Just an update. Yesterday i wore the most amazing red sandals with 5 inch heels and wood soles. Would like to post pics but dont know how to. For extrended wear pumps are my choice as they do not cut into your feet so much. I do however wear HH Thongs most of the time in warm weather. Please let me know of your preferennces as well.

    The red sandals sound great :wave:. Hope they where comfy? Where are they from?

    I guess my prefered style to be seen being worn is the classic stilettoe heel pump with short pointed toes, but in practise I like to see all all high heel styles being worn. You must have tough feet to wear HH thongs!

    Hello From Ohio My name is Celeste Nicole but most of my friends call me Nikki. I am 40 something and have been wearing and collecting heels for years now. My favorites are the basic pumps as well as any kind of high heel thong sandals. I am also fond of the sandal boots as well. it is nice to meet everyone in advance.

    Welcome Lady Celeste - Nikki. Both pumps and HH thongs are lovely. Do you have any preference if walking a lot? Look forward to hearing more of your HH adventures.
