  1. I'm glad for the OP, but feel it's too much. More power to him, though. Have you tried thigh-highs with a kilt? Perhaps the masculine version instead of a skirt might work better, 'specially if it's longer, and not mini.

  2. Of course I try them on. Who wants to go back, standing in line, as the sales clerk lifts them out of the box, embarrasing you in front of others as they ask, "Ok, so why are you returning these?" I hate it when clerks take them out of the box, even when you're just buying them. Any more, I just ask, "Please be discrete and leave them in the box." With Payless clerks, that never works, and they do it anyway. So I have to add, before I give them the box: "If you take them out of the box, I will leave." That usually works. Most heels I buy though are online, not at a store.

  3. They've varied. My ex-wife was aghast. A post-wife girlfriend didn't think anything of it. She was totally ambivalent. Another girlfriend was leery. None were totally supportive, but it was the factor that ended only one of my relationships. My parents found out, but they don't care, as I'm still me, and I'm not embarrasing them in front of their neighbors.

  4. I wear heels that I enjoy wearing. If I'm heading out, I don't wear heels unless I'm going far enough away that I don't run into anyone I know. Masculine? Feminine? What's the difference, if all heels are considered feminine by society? How about dainty, vs rugged? If so, the heels I do wear in public would be rugged.

  5. I think it was taking out the trash one night. Too lazy to change, looked around to see if the neighbors were out of sight, then went for it. Later, it was a bar, then the movies, pumping gas, travelling, whatever. I just don't wear anywhere I'm likely to be spotted by someone I know and will have to interact with later. Too much prejudice in the world, and instead of "making my statement," I'd rather slip into mocs as that's so much easier than dealing with the prejudice.

  6. I've noticed a lot of guys here are into skirts, hose, etc.

My question is do you want to be just a MAN IN HEELS or Enjoy dressing more like a girl with all the fem? Skirts, hose etc.

Myself, I just want to be a guy in heels with my blue jeans and t-shirt or (guy clothes).

How about skirts, heels, dresses, whatever, but non-fem? It's society's perception that makes it fem, not the cut of the clothing. If you believe the latter, then walk up to the next islander you see wearing a sarong and call him a "girlie-man." Were men throughout history wearing skirts and dresses feminine? Don't think so... Don't think they used the terms "skirts" or "dresses," either.

  7. I just got me some new shoes as the new fashion collections are available everywhere now. I decided to go for a low heel pump type of shoe (as you see them a lot overhere) and a type of mid heel boots.

Who else has done some shopping?

    GJ

I like the boots, but not the lows.

The last pair I bought was around a year ago, some booties.

  8. To OP: The reason most men see it as a perversion is 'cause they've been looking at sexy women in heels all their lives. To them, heels=female sexuality, which for most straight men seems perverted. Blame society for indoctrinating them that way, and selves for allowing indoctrination.
