  1. Here's a better pic of said shoes worn. I wore them all day at work this day, and had the obligatory "heel" comparison with a co-worker.

Sorry about the angle, it was taken from a cell phone.

Great Pic (and cute girl)! What were her thoughts on your heels? Envious that you had higher ones than her? ;-)

  2. I echo some of the other members recommendations. I'd be very careful how you break it to her. You might want to start "feeling around" to see what kind of response that you might get. Maybe drop a few discreet questions or comments to see how she reacts. I only say this because I was in the same situation and mine didn't turn out that well. My wife and I are now working on a divorce because of my love of heels. Please think it through before you decide to "drop the bomb".

  3. I tend to agree with you, StilletoScot, about wearing heels to bed. When I wear any kind of pumps, my feet are basically in the same position as I would sleep without them on. However, if I decide to wear my 6" ankle boots to bed, now my feet are held in a position that would over time contribute to being permanently heeled. My ballet boots would have the same effect. So, I guess it really depends on what you are wearing to bed.

  4. 6 3/4" pumps without a platform (not counting my ballet boots) 8" with a 3" platform The pumps are reaaly a chore to walk in. I REALLY need to train my ankles more for them. The platforms are OK on solid floors, but on carpeting present a bit of a challenge. I don't have any pics of the ballet boots yet.

  5. I even forgot that I had these red ones; "had" being the proper word. One of the straps broke a while back and I had to get rid of them. They weren't the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn, but that could be because they were sized a little small.

  6. I recently purchased a pair of the Seduce Slingbacks (Seduce-317) and really love them (despite the fact that I ordered them a size smaller than I normally do). Even though I messed up the size, I feel like I could walk all day in them. I also have a pair of Domina Boots and I do admit that they are a little higher, but still rather comfortable to wear. I tend to order a size larger than I usually wear in Pleaser shoes to gain that comfort. Maybe it's because they are a little more narrow. It's hard to say.

  7. I'm with Stilettoscot on this one. I'm sure while some posts might be done without any regard for forum rules, a lot of them might just happen by accident. For example, if you click on the "New Posts" heading, it brings up ALL of the new posts since you last logged in. It isn't obvious where the post you are reading, actually belongs. Yes, it IS there, but it isn't obvious. If you're flying through posts, you could easily miss it and post to the women's forum. As a new user, I've been very careful not to post in the wrong place when viewing the new posts this way. Don't want to get a bad rap. Just my 2 cents.

  8. Thanks, can't wait.

They are listed (Sexy Shoes) at 6 1/4", but the lady told me to keep the lift the same that's for their size 6. Size 14 has a full 7", so my size 10's should be close to 6 3/4" she told me.

Oh wow! Good Luck! I have a pair of 6 3/4" black patent pumps from Sexy Shoes in a size 12 and they are REALLY high (and thus, very difficult to walk or even stand up in).

I hope you can master them. I know they really test my resolve.

  9. I picked these up a few weeks ago but never got around to taking any pics until tonight. If I ever do go street heeling (going to the KoP Mall to meet JeffB keeps getting more and more tempting since I'm only about an hour away), I might actually decide to wear these slingback pumps. They're Pleasers with a 4 3/4 inch heel. It's really a pretty comfortable heel height for me.

  10. Yes. Gas stations never turn out like you'd like when you're in heels...

What'd you wear for pants? If they're long enough, black, and at night (plus you walk real slow), you can usually get away with going in due to the pump not working...

Well, I had a pair of jeans on and thought they covered a lot of the boots, but after taking some pictures with them on, they might have been showing more than I thought. The first pic shows a good bit of heel. The second makes me think twice about wearing them out somewhere that I'd need to sit, unless I was specifically trying to attract attention. Especially with the shiny padlocks.
