Hi Everyone, I decided that it was time to do some heeling in public and last night was it. I figured that there would be enough of a crowd in the Atlantic City casinos to give it a shot. After getting back to my room fairly late, I thought that this is my chance.so I decided to go do a little gambling before turning in. I decided to wear my black Payless Oxford Booties that I purchased in the fall. They've got a 4" heel and are really quite comfortable. I paired them up with a pair of blue jeans and a long sleeved polo shirt. Both of them I had been wearing earlier in the day. Out the door I went leaving the safety of my room and down the hall I went toward the elevator when 2 kids popped around the corner and just about knocked me over. What a way to start my adventure. But on I went and called an elevator. I waited for a short time and then the ding indicating that my lift had arrived. As the door opened, I met a woman who was also heading down to do some gambling. Not much was said other than Merry Christmas and we proceeded down to the casino level. The was no indication from her that she even saw my heels. When I exited the elevator, I was greeted with a shiny tile floor which made my footsteps quite obvious. I had a momentary thought of turning around and going back up to my room but decided to push on. I'm so glad I did. After clicking across the tile (what a rush hearing my heels click across the floor), and passing at least a dozen or two people, on I went into the casino area. The next two hours were just a great feeling! I didn't hear one comment from anyone. I WAS cautious as to where I walked. I tried to avoid any of the larger open spaces, but there were times where I had to pass large crowds of people and not a word was said by anyone. I probably walked around a third of the casino moving from machine to machine. Sometimes I was sitting right next to someone, and again, not a word from anyone. There were times that I even forgot that I had my heels on. After two hours I decided that I had lost enough of my money and needed to call it a night. The walk back to the room was again uneventful. I probably passed almost a hundred people, including several security guards and a group of around 10 casino employees. Not one person commented. Sorry, I didn't take any pics. I was just too tired by the time I returned and had to hit the sack. I think I will give it another try tonight. Hopefully I'll get some pics this time. Merry Christmas everyone! HHLover

4" are a breeze now. It's almost as if I'm wearing flats. 5" is really comfortable, but I'm able to wear my 6" ankle boots (in my avatar) outside without a problem. My feet do go vertical in them so they are really the highest that I can comfortably wear. I've worn them around the house doing work for at least 8 hours. I started to get a little tired by then, but I still managed.

Sweet! Love ballet heels to begin with and these pink ones are even better!!

I don't even read the "Gals" thread since we were banned from posting on there.

On a side---the new Rivers Casino opens in Pittsburgh today for all of your gambling pleasure and I'm sure the Girl Watching of all of the show girls and attendees will soon be worth while for all of you heel watchers also.

I agree with you about girl watching at the casinos. There are some awsome heels (and the legs/bodies that go in them/with them too) at the different PA casinos I've visited, especially on a Friday and Saturday evening. I think I've been in all of them except the one you mentioned and the one I think is up in Erie. I've even toyed wth the idea of going to some of them to do a little heeling. Just not sure of the response I'd receive.

Anyway, in keeping with the original post, I too read the ladies forum (but will never post anything) and appreciate reading their comments and insight on the discussions that they have. It's nice to read what women who really like heels are thinking.

I agree. They are really nice. I wouldn't mind having a pair of them myself. Alas, they only go to size 11.

I tried sleeping in my ballet boots last night and only managed to sleep 2 hours before I had to take them off. I've managed 3-4 hours in my Hollywood Heels "Deranged" boots, but never an entire night. My best night has been in a pair of sandals as GWL does.

Me too. I really hate them. I think they are so unattractive.

Make them wear some crocs!

I've just bought a pair online from heels.com in the US as I couldn't find anywhere listed as a stockist here, but does anyone know? I rarely go to London, but would have thought they'd be available somewhere or maybe it's too small/new a label.

I picked up a pair of Dexter Kent T-Strap sandals from Payless last weekend and stopped back in on Saturday evening to pick up two pairs of Fioni Hoodie Sandals. All of them fit very well, despite being two different sizes (13W in Dexter and 12W in Fioni).

Nope, I can't do it. I also have them in Size 13 and they are basically impossible to walk in.

3 days is an awful long time. I tried to "force" myself to wear my ankle boots with over a 5" heel (the ones in my avatar) for 12 hours by locking the keys to the padlocks in a key safe and then encrypting a picture of the combination with some software. Well, I made it but my feet were REALLY hurting by the time my release came. I'd go a little easy on how long you will be locked in them. You may regret your choice.

I saw your blog earlier this evening and my jaw dropped. Very nice legs and heels! I always look forward to seeing updates. HHLover

For something called "Deranged", were you expecting anything less? Maybe the designer put their SO in them (are these the type that have a lockable ankle collar?), and they went deranged trying to handle them.

Nope, they're not lockable. I might go deranged trying to walk in them!

Maybe it's just the photo, but it almost looks like the heels are tilted forward a little (one way I guess to squeeze out a full 7" heel height). What size are they?

Size 13 and yes, you feel like you're leaning forward when trying to walk in them. I just can't get my legs straight right now. They even seem more difficult than ballet boots! At least I've been able to stand in them.

Almost 20 pairs, all of them heels. All but one pair, stilettos.

Hi Everybody, I've gotten these shoes over the past several months, but just haven't had the time to get any pictures, let alone post them. So here they are. The T-Straps are from Payless (as the majority are). The are 12 medium and are a bit snug in the front. I do like the way they look but I might just have to sell them as they just seem to pinch too much. The orange and black patent pumps are the Hilt pumps by Fioni, again from Payless. They are 12 Wide and are much more comfortable than the T-Straps. These are probably a good pair of heels for public heeling (at least the black ones). With a 4" heels, they are really comfortable. I think I posted the sling-backs before. They are Pleaser Seduce sling-back pumps. They are also really comfortable, despite having almost a 5" heel. They are 12 medium. I think they'd be way too loose if they came in a wide. Both pairs of peep toes are by Fioni and from Payless again. The ones with the ankle strap are 12 Wide and also very comfortable. The other ones are 13 medium and a bit big. I'm going to have to try to put some sort of insoles in them the make them a little more snug. The boots are Deranged by Hollywood Heels. Can you say "Holy Crap!" The heels are around 7" and are nearly impossible to walk in. I do like them, but I can't do much more than sit with them on or sleep in them. See the post below. The ballet boots are by Pleaser. Nope, not much walking going to be done in them right now. They feel really great to wear, but I'm going to need a lot of practice before I can really begin to even stand in them. HHLover

I've been doing it a lot lately. Some nights it's just a pair of pumps, but more and more it's been with a pair of Hollywood Heels Deranged Boots.

I'm hoping that I can keep stretching my ankles and make them a little more flexible, but I can only last about 2-3 hours before they wake me up and I have to change back into pumps. Eventually, I'd like to be able to wear my ballet boots for sleeping. I'm not at that point yet.
