The oxfords look remarkably the same as my Nine West "Sizzle" oxfords, and if that is true, you will find them very easy to wear. I highly recommend! At least the heels themselves appear to be either regular calf leather or patent, so you have a fighting chance of not trashing these.

Ok. That sounds good'nuff for me :) I'm just waiting for restock and then "boom come to me my precious" ;)

The heels itself is some kinda hard plastic material, hopefully reinforced ;) Outsoles somewhat grip patterned, which is good!

    swedeheeler,

I like your platform sandals with the leopard print. I have a pair of wedges with a leopard print on the heels. I also am impressed with your U.S. flag on your desk. I retired earlier this year after 36 years of service to the U.S., 5 military and 31 civilian so I notice flags. You make me want to go buy something at Ikea! Well done sir! HinH

    Thank you :)

The us flag is a part of my Polo Ralph Lauren soft bag as I use when traveling.

At my house I keep the swedish flag in pole top as often I can, I might break some unwritten rules about flagging but I'm proud being a citizen of my country

    Well done sire! I salute you:ribbon: :)

Go buy something nice from IKEA :) I just bought a new kitchen, complete with white goods from'em ;)

  3. HinH: Much of our thrift store clothes comes from china or other eastern countries. I do not have the balls to enter a store for similar clothes, as well my biggest concern is the sizing. I'm pretty tall even w/o heels as we speaking the length 6'4". The best would be a tailored dress that fits a straight figure is my toughts. Lemme hear yours :)

If I hadn't just bought plane tickets I might think about getting a pair of those oxies. I really like the color. And with a high arch, lace-ups are the best.

    Update:

Just looked at the site again. I take a 41 and they are sold out. :(

If you are still interested, do like I did @Cali select preferable size, below the images there'll be a red message, below it can you enter your mail address, then you'll be notifyed when your size is back in stock ;)

  5. Well. I restore a house for myself, in a early stage when I isolated the foundation with styrofoam sheets and locked the layers together with plastic hobnails (before casting) I used the heels on my aliexpress leo ankle booties to push down the nails through all sheet layers. That went out very well actually :biggrin:20160524_182354.thumb.jpg.0c95918bd73ddc25bc7175af8ff162b8.jpg

It's eligible to wear heels, so my twisted brain will turn the question round to: Is there reasons to not wear heels? ;)

To continue on my previous quote; When the situation needs it there's a reason to not wear heels. For example: I'm working as contractor, during worktime we have to wear protective shoes with steel inforced toes and nail resistive soles to not damage our feets.

  7. Have been eyening on some new leather shoes or booties around 150 to 200€.

Why that? Most pairs I have are either sandals or otk boots in various styles.

As I cant decide which style is more "to go" than the other I need some inputs. Clothing for me is often tight jeans and t-shirt, what I should call casual.

Ankle booties or oxies. Both styles speaks to me. Well I'm bringing some linkies to two pairs that interests me.
