Off to good start with the arrival of new booties I purchased from Sydheel! 12cm block heel and fit like a glove. Ready for their first outing today!!

 

Im glad they fit you

they fitted me like a glove (a very tight glove) lol. But were very solud and a cinch to walk in. 

May you do more miles in them than i could.

back to work and continuing my journey in heels

santa bought me a lovely new pair of wittner 'geranium' long boots in sand suede. 11cm block heel and comfy as anything 

but today i wore them around town and on train with skinny jeans. No hiding these heels, and the contrasting colour makes them stand out. 

The only good thing is from the front they look like and number of the hundreds of pairs of work safety boots etc

Oh, and did i mention how freakin comfy they are. On run out special for $60

Sailing eh? What a great way to spend time. As the 'ratter'  said "nothing as good as messing about in boats" 

me, im getting all restless. Normally at this time im getting all anxious about the start of sydney hobart. But this year im not doing it and im just as bad, moping aroung kicking the dog.

Im hoping so. I tried on several pairs of size 11 boots and they all fit. But i have a pair of their size 11 pumps which are tight. 

The parcel is on its way. 2 weeks or so and i will post a pic

Us 11 is aus 11

amd depending on brand. Most seem to roll that us11 = eu 42,42.5

i have just ordered a pair of ankle boots from usa (with a bunch of help from new mates here)

now all I have to do is to wait patiently till they arrive (not going to happen) and hope that they fit (positive waves moriarity)

They are similar to the savina but wider and more comfortable. Amazing. Certainly some WOW factor. But even with 40% sale were still $80. So im thinking

The ones i was wearing are my fave little shooties. Made by windsor smith, style name tempurr, size 41. Pointy toe, 10cm block heel, stretchy panel on outside of ankle. Inside zip. Real leather. 

This is yhe pair i almost bought. 

WAY WAY comfy. Surprisingly easy to walk in. 

I tried on 4 pairs of ninewest booties in 11 and all fit well so im going to bite the bullet and buy a pair from ninewest usa. Hope sizing is same

another day, another milestone. !!!

bought a pair of guys slim jeans and today was first day out with heels and jeans that didnt at leadt partially cover. 

The whole of my fave booties on display with 10cm block heel. 

Went to DFO and tried on a few pairs in yhe nine west store. Amazing staff there as always. 

Anyway. Got out with no purchases (credit card says whew !)

They're black suede, not microfiber, and in a wide 12 they fit me perfectly. Even better, they were $249, with 50% off in store. 

i agree, trying to find larger sizes that are not stripper-like can be tough, and even though i much prefer leather to suede i like the look of those boots. 

And i been a bit of a wuzz, like the extra padding for my toes that even a 1 cm platform provides

Remeber, most pictures and measurements are taken of and from an average (i think they normally use size 7-8) size shoe. 

Larger ie longer shoes may have same heel height but appear far less steep owing to increased length.

but heck they are a good looking pump. 

Do they fit? Are thry comfy ?

i should but shares in wittner. Such nice good quality shoes n boots
