  1. I was out running around with my kids Saturday the 6th. I took them to Madison GA which is an old southern antebellum town that does a tour of homes for christmas. They bring tour busses full of people for this, plus my parents have a gift shop in this town and they were doing pictures with santa with their christmas open house. While I was there everywhere I looked there was high heel boots every which way I looked. I was almost in mind overload. I saw boots from a 1 inch heel to 4 inch heels. I was so jealous!!! :w00t2:

Cool!!! Like I said from what I could see from the pictures, it looked a little rough. I am glad you are happy with the out come. I live in a semi rural area so I have to becareful of the type of shoes I wear out. I did run into a friend that I go to church with while wearing boots with a 2 & 1/2 inch heel and she said nothing or didn't notice.

As far as the costume party goes the two girls that I went with did a Great job doing my costume and makeover. I did not even recognize myself standing looking in the mirror. I was told by several who knew me as me that they did not know it was me. I know about the case of the nerves because they talked me into going into a large local chain grocery store with them to get stuff on the way to the party and boy was I scared walking in the store in fem and in 5inch heels.(FYI - No Pictures are available)

After reading more of what you have done and why, the more I understand the look. Everyone needs to be in their comfort zone. Next time if possable get some better / clearer pictures so I don't go "What The ???"

Keep on doing what makes you happy and don't care what anyone has to say, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone or yourself. :w00t2:

  3. Heelma I wasn't trying to be rude or hurt your feelings, I wanted to give you a very honest answer. If you were happy with the out come, then I am very happy for you. You are the main person that you have to please and forget everyone else. The way I saw the pictures, looked like you stuck out like a sore thumb. I know how I felt back in 07 going to a costume party dressed as a woman and going in the store with 2 real women (FYI - I was very passable). I was more nervous then, than I was going out with my first planned heeling outting dressed in normal guy mode or out with my friend to dinner in 3 inch heels. Again, Sorry I was just being honest. Which gets me in trouble lots of times.

  4. II know some web site pictures can be pretty bad, but does anyone else have difficulty seeing these as having 4" heels:

Available in a sz 13, a Black pair could be pretty passable. Although...I just noticed : for "Heel Height", they list 10cm (5"), but then for "Length", they have 'heel height' 10cm (4"). Something doesn't add up. Another although - I noticed it lists the width as an 'E' (pretty wide, isn't that?). Maybe that coupled with a sz 13 would make for a big looking shoe, decreasing the apparent heel height.

Typo??? The proof reader was out to lunch or just finished their liquid lunch??

  5. My Megan boots are a size 10 and they have formed to my feet very well and they are very comfortable too. My Rosa boots are a size 11 and I have put anti slip heel grips in them. They where a litttle lose. I wore the Rosa boots out couple of saturday nights ago and I was very pleased with them too. I like booth pairs very well. I do notice the ground more with the Megan boots because of the thinner sole. I have had to tighten the strap on the Rosa boots to keep it from making noise when I walk. I like the sole and heel on the Rosa boots better. It is really a toss up on the two pairs because they both have their place in my world of heeling.

  6. Jwhite44 I have the Rosa Lug Boots and I enjoy them very well. I wore them out 2 saturday nights ago and they were very comfortable and no one really noticed them. I do know that they stop at size 12, but mine are a size 11 and they seem to run a little on the large size to me. I too have been looking for a boot with a chunky 3 & 1/2 inch heel or 4 inch heel but they don't seem to be in style this year.
