    WOW!! What a day!!

    Today while out working I decided to stop at Target to get one last Christmas gift. I put on my Megan boots and went shopping. The Target is next to the Payless shoes store that I have had very good luck in. I decided to go in and see what they had in stock in boots, that I was think about. The girl who is the store manager that has been very cool with my trying on heels wasn't in. The store was a little busy so I went on in to look at shoes and was welcomed by the young girl behind the counter who was ringing up some customers.

    I started looking for some boots, but they didn't have what I was looking for. So I was standing there just looking at what was in stock. The store had emptyed out. The girl from behind the counter came down the row I was on. She asked if she could help me. I told her that I was looking for a couple of pairs of boots. She asked what boots I was looking for and she said those boots have been selling out as fast as they come in. She asked who they were for and I told her that they were for me. She said you are the guy that the manager had told her about. I asked if it was a problem and she said NO. She went on to say that she thought it was great.

    She asked about my passion to wear heels. We talked for a couple of minutes and I picked up a pair of heels to look at them and she said try them on. I sat down on a stool that was near by and took off my Megan boots and she said she had the same pair and loved them, but wished the heel was higher and I said me too. I put on the 3 inch heels and she asked me to walk in them. They were a little tight so she grabbed a pair in the wide width. They fit perfect. I walked up and down the row and she said she was very impressed with the way I walk in heels. She said I move better than most women who wear heels.

    Then she showed me the wedge heels she was wearing and handed me the same pair in my size. She said try them on she wanted to see how they looked on me. They have a 3 & 1/2 inch heel so I switched shoes and walked around with them on. She said those shoe look good on you too. I couldn't believe no one hadn't come in yet. So I decided to buy both pairs since they were having their buy one get one half off sale.

    We talked some more about the different pairs that I had bought there. She asked if I wear the higher heel pairs out and I said yes. She asked where I wear them and I told her. She told me that I could come back anytime I want to try on shoes when her or the manager was working. She thought it was cool that I was man enough to wear heels and that men's shoes were boring. I agreed and she went to ring up my shoes and I put my Megan boots back on and she said if I hadn't shown her the boots she wouldn't have know I was wear heels.

    She told me her name, but I forgot what it was because I was on such a high. I told her that I would be back after Christmas to see if the boots I was looking for was in stock. She told me just to order them and have them shipped to her store. We wished each other Merry Christmas and I left and was still on such a high that I went to my next couple of accounts with my Megan boots on and no one noticed.

    2008 Good year or bad year? for heels

    2008 Good Year!!!

    I have learned that I am not the only guy who likes heels Thanks to HHP. My shoe collection and grown greatly. I have streetheeled in public and no one cares so far. I am getting very comfortable wearing heels and told some select people about my passion. 2008 has been a GOOD year for me and heels. :thumbsup:

    I so wish I had the courage to wear my heels in public.

    Take johnies wise words of wisdom!! What some people have done is to go to the mail box or post office late at night. My first time out was unplanned and to an auto parts store in hurry. Find a shoe that your are happy with and comfortable with and go for it. Remember we have all been there before and we are behind you all the way.

    Kitty Shoes I know the feeling!! This has been a great place for me too. To figure out a couple of things that were bother me. Because of HHP I can see things alot better. The Mod's are the greatest in the world and the members are the best too. If I have not said it Hello and Welcome to HHP.
