If this is all about fashion why do the comments, "fashion is for cowards" & "what is feminine" keep popping up
it's allrigt, you can point the blame at me, I'm prepared to take an argument. I'm trying to make you think. do you REALLY belive that there is a genetical difference in how men and women think and act? is there a genetic code that tells women that they have to remove all their body hair, wear make up, be silent, beautiful and obedient, to wear high heels?

When my mom came to visit me some time ago and saw my 4" bronx boots for the first time, she seemed more concerned about me breaking my legs wearing them, than them being 'womens' boots.
-
...and how do you come up with something like that? Is it a natural state for a woman to wear high heels?Presumably we wear heels to look and feel like women?

I've been working at the model and this is what I came up with. I'm rather pleased with it. I managed to get the leather texture pretty good:

It's the essence of stupidity.

of course, this is only a work in progress image, I will add the correct textures and other details later.

Like I wrote in the "3d modeling" thread, I was planning to model some shoes in 3d. This is my first attempt. I had a 6" oxford from Pierre Silber as a reference picture:

the fight is everywhere, everyday. What it all boils down to is some guys insisting on rights to do something that no one has a right to stop them from doing. So where's the fight.
oh, so the forums work just like the real world?Demand that everyone agree with them and only them. Anyone who disagrees will be and is immediately subject to their name calling or some sort of blasphemy. The guys can't with any amount of "fairness" disagree with me on that, just go back and read what they wrote, or better yet review any part of the forums past.
I made my situation known once before a long time ago when I offered my support to Susan when she was being verbally brutalized for no reason other then being a women who disagreed, and worse yet, has a knowledge of high heels and feminine allure that made the guys mad.
exactly what is feminie allure? it's just rubbish.
and exactly WHAT do you base that on? major BS.I'm going to be told this is off topic, no it's not, it's relevant. The important word in the original question is "should". That comes around to one person telling another person what to do. I don't like that anymore then anyone else. In a civilized culture that "shouldn't" be necessary, however in todays loss of most social worth, who knows. This idea of men and women being the same is sick, there are more differences than similarities.
stop trying to make all men look like violent beasts, just because you had a bad experience. I don't judge all women by your narrow mind.

A lot of gender roles are just social acknowledgements of biological differences.
major BS. prove it.

I make music using my computer. Sent my first demo to a record company today.

something more for Laurie?

Try looking in the fetish shops?
-
I think there is a difference between 'foot fetish' and 'shoe/heel fetish' actually. Like I wrote, I haven't seen any of those movies myself either, but here is a cut-out from http://www.eveellis.com/ (a famous bondage and fetish model)
"My Grandmother and Mother called me 'Sara Bernhardt' because I was always soooo dramatic about everything I said and did. I walked on my tip toes starting at age 5, pretending to wear high heels all the time. I wouldn't let my heels touch the floor (now you know my secret to being able to practically play sports in 6" stilettos)."
And I don't think she's the only one. I'm not saying that is very common, just that it could be done.

I actually think there is some walking involved too. At least in the heel-fetish films..
-
With all the discussion about the wearing of extreme heels I started thinking about all the women involved in making fetish videos and such. Some of them seem to be very at home in the most extreme of heels. I have never seen any of the films, so I haven't seen any walking in them, but you can see the 'proof' in some of the pictures. Like these:
I mean, if they can, why wouldn't someone else be able to pull it off?

I'd like to learn to dance in really high heels.
-
No matter how trendy heels may be, you have to be a bit of an addict to wear the really high ones. You don't see many people in 5" heels.
-
In Jennys galleries there's a picture of Mariah Carey and her shoes.
-
Laurie - there's not just *one* way to wear heels. Even if someone else wears heels as high and thin as yours, there are so many other things that come together and make the look. I doubt any guy would wear heels the same way as you do.

From what I've seen, Bryce is only for landscape modeling?

This is from the video for the song "Murder on the dancefloor" by Sophie Ellis-Bextor. I think these are rather nice, some kind of hybrib between a boot and a sandal. love the buckles too:
She seems to be really comfy in them as well, as she is dancing in them the whole video. I've read somehere that she loves heels.
