  1. of course i got a few items from other photos. the basic front was taken from a fully flat shoe. leather structure was taken from two different boots. heel, metal heel and platform didn't exist at all. i stole the buckle too - but had to modify it as well. so a lot of compositing. it wasn't as easy as you suggested. but i take that as a compliment - since you thought i did almost nothing ; )))

I didn't say I think it's easy to do, but certainly easier than creating something totally from scratch. I prefer to work in 3 dimensions.

  2. i'm not so sure that so many people could what you call 'draw' a shoe in a visual/photorealistic way like i did. cause i had over 3 years education in that visual field ; ))

to me it looks like you took a photo of a regular boot, and stretched and twisted it in photoshop to look more extreme, and altered the colors.

  3. If you've still not made it out, check out Festival of Sins on the 9th October. It's an alternative fetish club and tends to not take itself as seriously as TG.

I'm definitely going to be there as I'm doing the choreography for one of the fashion shows on the night, so if you come along it'd be great if you'd come over and say hello. I'll probs be the chick in Loubous, though not decided yet on my footwear choice.

damn, I'm going to be in London that date, but I wasn't planning on going out to any clubs, just shopping.. would've been cool to witness the mysterious Cinnamon. :)

  4. This was at 11am in the morning. As I said, I visit London an awful lot and really love the city and feel perfectly safe everywhere else. Strangley enough, I dont remember seeing any police out on the beat that morning. That was the only occassion that I ever visited Soho myself. A few friends were over with me and wanted to see what it was like. We dont really have any equivalent to Soho in Dublin.

They had forgotten about the incident in no time and went on to have a brilliant weekend. Just posting it as a point of caution for the original poster.

Last time I was in London I walked around quite a bit in Soho, and I never had any trouble what so ever.

  5. Watch your back in Soho. Its the only place in central London where I feel uneasy. Last time we were there, we were approached by a guy who asked if we wanted to see Swedish girls. We said no straight away but he kept at us and followed us all the way back to Tottenham Court road tube station and was on his mobile to someone all the time.

Dont let that put you off though, London is a brilliant city, definitely in my top 3.

    Was this daytime or nighttime?
