85 pairs is a great amount. Sometimes I totally forget that I own some shoes, and some I convince myself I've sold. It's hard keeping track sometimes!
-
Hey thanks.
I've got about 15 more shoes to add to the blog so I think between us we have 250 pairs now which is OK considering that number is between 2 people. At one point I personally had nearly that many. Cait has got rid of loads in the move too.
Yeah, you should start a blog, even your commentary on other people wearing heels could be fun

I suppose donation shops are difficult because you can't rely on what shoes they're gonna have, let alone what sizes they have them in, or even what condition they're in.
Speaking of charity shops, one here in the UK was donated four pairs brand new of Jimmy Choos!

I'm resisting though! So far anyway.

Try calling a Louboutin store and see if they're able to get their hands on some for you. For some reason I didn't like Forever Tinas until they were discontinued, now I'm obsessed with finding a pair. I phoned Louboutin and they're gonna see if they can source me a pair.

Once I started it became pretty easy, it kinda just snowballed. There are possibly 2 more pairs of Pleasers I'm considering ditching, but all the others are really nice looking shoes and fairly original so I'm gonna keep my hands on them.

Purple was popular last season and continues to be this season. It's my favourite colour like I say, and I think it looks great with black. Brown is an underrated colour as it comes in so many different shades; chocolate brown is great, and beige is a nice, neautral colour.

Haha thanks! It's not so much a phobia, but more a matter of tradition for me. My first ever pair of Loubs were in purple, while the black with red sole is just such a classic look. There are other colours I love too, the ones that contrast and complement the soles are the best, but I'm just such a creature of habbit.

Hey, thanks. A bit of everything really. Some I gave away, some I sold individually, some I sold in batches and some I binned. There were some pretty lousy pairs that I can't believe I ever liked. Some had just dated. Some were way past their best. I rarely have shoes over 3 years old in my collection. I think I've got rid of about 40 shoes in total over the last month.

My Paypal account doesn't work properly at the moment, but I'm always clicking the banners here. Partly because it helps the site, but partly because they're actually pretty relevant and interesting, a lot better than the "YOU'RE THE MILLIONTH VISITOR" type ones

Hopefully there won't be enough problems for it to make Projects worthwhile. I personally don't think bugs should have their own category, and to be honest most posts about 'bugs' in the HHPlace forum are more enquiries as opposed to problems that need fixing. I think it should be high-heel related, but how exactly I don't know.

Thanks. I think the best bit to me is seeing the designs I work on being used in public. Always makes me a bit proud, lol

Yeah, I think I will have to. I don't have a digital camera and my camera phone doesn't work properly but I think I will have to get it sorted. It's hilarious at the moment because we've got our shoe boxes stacked up everywhere. Everything is unpacked now apart from the shoes!

The red ones are a lot more 'wow' aren't they? Given the choice I never know whether to go with the spectacular option or something more subtle. I will wait to see them in person but it looks like I'm going for the patent ones (assuming I even find them).
I do corporate branding, so coming up with company brands, logos, colours etc. It sounds boring but it's really fun.

Thanks. My wishlist is on my other computer, but from memory I think RSVP also do a beautiful pair of wedges too. I can't find the info online, but they're pretty similar to the GZ ones.
-
I'm erring towards the patent ones too. I love patent, if looked after it can look totally amazing. As a bright colour it's easy to accessorise with too.
My other blog is mainly for my benefit, but I couldn't see the point of keeping it to myself!

Hi, thanks for the reply! We've gone halves on a few pairs of (expensive) shoes recently, and I always let her borrow mine and she hers so it makes sense to share them, particularly as we've got so many. She's really excited about the shoe room as where she lived before they were kinda everywhere.
Thanks for the reply.

Thanks
When you live abroad it's easier to learn other languages. Spanish is my first language, Catalan is spoken in a region in Spain, Italian is similar to Spanish, English I learnt because I moved over here and French I learnt at school. Portuguese I started learning recently just out of curiosity!

Hehe, yes I do. Not sure if I should be admitting that here. They're mainly flip flops and stuff like that. I am often barefoot at home, but I normally opt for wedges and stuff like that if I don't fancy heels.

Tech upgraded the forum the day before yesterday and the blogs are a great new feature! Thanks for the comment about my other blog. That one is mainly for my benefit to keep track of all my shoes, while I'll be using this one for news and stuff like that

Thanks very much. That pair I posted was a hard one to resist. They're gorgeous shoes, just a shame about the colour of the sole otherwise I would have bought them
