I prefer the sandals. But get which ever you like. You could get both pairs.

Hello. I was nervous going out first time (and other times after) in heels. The more you do it the easier it gets. If you mean looking like a women when you say about good tips to pass. I haven't got any as I wear heels with men's shirt and boot cut jeans.

Younger women are more willing to wear pointed toe shoes even if they aren't as comfortable, just for the look/fashion statement..
Older women often go for comfort over style. Especially if they have worn heels for years.

You could go to a super market early morning or late at night when it will be less busy. But then you are likely to be watched more because there are few other people shopping.
The busier it is the less likely people will notice. If your heels are noisy and you are on your own. Then people will know you are wearing heels. If you are in a busy supermarket it could be another shopper wearing heels, so people may not take the time to look and just keep shopping.
Sitting in a cafe etc can be a good next step. You can choose to sit in a place where few people will notice or sit where people will notice depending on how confident you are at the time.

Welcome. Looking forward to hearing more about your experiences with heels.

Both pairs are nice. Do they fit well? And How is the quality?

Those are really nice! Don't hide them under jeans.
Did your sister know that you had bought a pair of "her" boots? You will have to get a picture if you both wear them together.
Test walk soon??? How could you receive the boots and not immediately give them a try?
I got the test walk done this afternoon. About 1 1/2 hours. Comfortable and even got a compliment from a lady on my style choice. She asked the usual questions about why I wear heels? How long have I been wearing heels and style we both like. She seemed open to he concept of men wearing heels.
I had to wear them under jeans as the zip wouldn't do up.

I had to work and heels at work are not an option at the moment.
My sister doesn't know I got the same style. I ordered mine before she got hers, so she brought a pair of my boots lol.

I saw this pair of boots earlier this week. Only 1 pair of size 4UK available. I asked for my size, but they were online order only, so The lady working on the clothing section offered to write the produce code down for me. I have received them and look forward to wearing them for a test walk soon.
i suspect one of my sisters has brought the size 4UK pair that I saw originally, as she mentioned when visiting today getting a new pair that sound just like them.

Cowboy boots ain't what they used to be. Years ago, they had a heel. Now my work boots usually have more heel than what they put out as western bootware.
I found that if you buy women's western boots they often have a higher heel than the men's boots.

I have bought shoes for one of my sisters as birthday presents.

Search black open side/sided pumps in your internet search box. It brings up some similar to the ones you are looking for.

Received these on Friday. Nine West Janita in size 12. 4" heel. $39.99 on Amazon. Unfortunately, they will be returned. Too narrow in the toe box and too long. Cannot walk without my heel popping out, and the width is such that I'd never be able to wear them very long. much less walk in them very far. Too bad. I really like the cutout design and the heel was nice. Sorry for the blurry shots.
Before returning them, try a insert/gel cushion in the toe box and a heel grip/pad. It may help stop your foot going so far forward and keep your heel in tighter.
They are nice. So if there is a way to make them wearable it may mean you get to keep them.

Hi @hh4evr1 I love your boots. Have you been able to walk in them?
Yes. I wore them today. As far as I can tell, no stares or other acknowledges of them being worn.

I have one pair of 6" heels (court/pump)My first pair were my normal size but were too big and my foot kept sliding forward leaving a gap at the heel. They went to another male who wears heels and I got the same pair in the next size down and they fit better.
They took a bit of practice to get used to them. I had only worn 4" before. I would have got 5" first then got the 6" but the 5" were out of stock.
I did eventually get a pair of 5" too.

My New look boots (like Peter1 got) have arrived. As I have wider calves they fit more snugly which is how I like them to fit.
i also got my first pair of calf high boots. They are also a slouch style, which in a new style for me too.

Both toe shape and heel thickness, height and to a lesser degree heel noise all are considered for what I wear in public.
As well as terrain, amount of time wearing heels, location etc.

I just ordered a pair like Peter1 and a pair of shoes

Maybe some topics should be moved/added to the for everyone parts of this site. Then it would be ok for male and females to post more equally.

Get the pair you like most. Then if you still want more get the others
I prefer the second pair out of the three posted.

@ HeelsWearer
i'm just a man who just likes to wear heel without feeling feminine. I usually wear block/wedge/thicker heels for public wearing. Worn with men's clothes only.

You may want to start with a pair with a lower heel and practice in them first. Then get some with higher heels.
if you want something more discrete for wearing in public a block heeled boot would be a good choice.
What was the first pair of shoes you bought

I bought a pair of 4" black stiletto court shoes/pumps, after finding this website and reading of all the people who also liked high heels and also the people who wore high heels in public.
