Shyheels. Love the comment about "Ethics' being a county in England. Just brilliant. I am a big crossword fan and in one book of crosswords I frequently buy, one clue that often appears always makes me laugh - A county in W England - answer Essex. Really? You could not go further EAST in England than Essex.

Essex, Middlesex, Wessex, Sussex but no Norsex. I always found that strange.

  2. I had the same problem. My doctor gave me stretching exercises to do which were uncomfortable, he also told me i wouldn't be able to wear heels again once I managed to stretch down so I didn't bother with it. Then a couple of years later I saw another doctor who told me that I would still be able to wear heels or not as I wished. He gave me similar stretching exercises and advice which I stuck to and now I can go barefoot or wear flats if I like. I do still get pain if I make the transition from heels to flats too quickly so at the end of the day I do a wee bit of stretching while sitting down after taking them off. Not sure I'm going to start investing in flat shoes though. Everything is the wrong height and my feet are too long and I feel unbalanced in them. But hey I'm free!

I can remember doing 1000 miles on my bike, I had a mileometer fitted to the front wheel, but that was back in about 1965, don't know how many miles in girls style shoes but I started in about 1968, and still doing so today, every day.

How can you have been doing that in 1968 and still be alive today, that's impossible!

Chapeau! If you kept that up for twelve years that's once lightly around the globe at the Equator or a tenth of the way to the Moon.

Well I think I would opt for the moon since the globe is very messy as you well know.
