Well, it has advantages and disadvantages. For clothing, no problem although the feet are not that small (Women's 11/12 depending upon style, etc.) But a lot of the men's clothes are cut too large. Oh well.......

Glad to hear that you've moved but (as the ancient cliche goes) Rome wasn't built in a day. At some point I'm going to take the ride out to Clarion, PA and I'll let you know as soon as I do when that will be. My big concern now is to get back working; although I LOVE retirement (I'm actually busier than before), I can't afford it! Take care, my friend and we'll catch up at some point.

No it's more about her sense of self, embarassment, etc. Some things you can get your s/o to work with, some you can't.

Daniel, I'll bet you had a lot of fun! I would like to try it, but the wife won't go for it.

David and Cathy, what a great album with some awesome pics and great boots! You rock!!!!!

Thanks but I know that the wife would NOT appreciate any of this stuff. On my own, out of town, that's another story. But I'm long past the pick-up stage, my friend, as I'm committed to the marriage. Thanks for the compliment though. By the by, did you see the thread on Walk a Mile in Her Shoes? I'm going to be doing the walk on Thursday morning in Danbury, CT.

That's what I figured about Aldo's. There is no way in hell that I can get into a 10. I can't even wear all elevens (particularly Steve Madden but also Bronx and some others). On the other hand, I can wear 12s (even the Steve Madden is tight) but some of them are TOOO big! So, at least for me, it really is a crap shoot for size although generally (not always) I can do Nine West in an 11. A boot of theirs, Splurge or something like that with a square to I couldn't wear. I have a pair of silver sandals from them that cut across the toe and don't work well either. But that Shoe Biz!

I haven't done the small store thing in a very long time, mainly due to the size issue. At least at the outlets, you can see what is available or isn't at a glance, rather than wait for the "sold out" story. How do you find how the Aldo shoes run? I haven't tried them yet due to the size 41 being the largest.

Glad you enjoyed the Nine West thread, H; it's been fun writing it. I was hoping to get back to Fairfield soon but we'll see. I know the salesgirl would be more than happy to order anything I wanted. I don't know how you feel about it, but I much prefer the outlet store to the regular ones as I prefer to see if they have what I want without the guessing game. B
