  1. Remarkable, truly remarkable! But kneehighs, you did hit on a serious truth that I knew from a former girlfriend. She would go to gay bars as she would not be "hit on" there - it was a safe place!

Thus, the "gay" thing did disarm the women! Voila!!!

  2. 'Excuse me but I was talking to my sister and telling he is just out there doing it and not caring what people think, can I get a picture of you to show her?” I said sure and gave her my best pose and told her to be sure and get the heel.

    Remarkable outing Thighbootguy, truly remarkable!!

  3. Dave, I've had mine a month now; no regrets except I should have done it 10 years ago. Only compliments so far! My wife was away when I did it and asked why I had both done; I told her that the Mr. Clean look was dead and gone. Now, she likes them.

And as Spikester says, they finish the outfit! Once these training ones are out, I'll be getting some hoops, etc.

  4. Good for you tiffany and congratulations on the sandals heeling episode. You will find that there are always boneheads, boors and other maladjusted people that have nothing better in their life to do than to try and make other people miserable.

You made the first step; keep on heeling in the sandals; feet hurting are our trial by fire (LOL).

Fortunately for you that you can wear Aldo's but unfortunately for me, Aldo's doesn't make size 42.

  5. Funny to read my original post back from 2007. Since then I have definitely developed an interest in a more feminine look as well, a look that I'm sure people who see me in public think that I'm a full blown TV even though I still don't regard myself as one.

I see no problem why someone can't have multiple styles. I'm sure that I'm not the only one here who likes both a masculine AND a feminine look. Why choose one? These days, I'm comfortable in skirts, heels and makeup but I haven't stopped enjoying wearing just my heels, jeans and a dress shirt without the extra glitter and glam.

I think it is interesting to what happens over time as one starts with heels and then gets interested in what else is on the "other side of the store." Thanks Max for putting it well.

  6. It is my OPINION that everyone here on this forum is entitled to their own opinion and each is free to express it.

However, the one thing that Tech clearly lacks is common courtesy. There is no reason to directly attack people, humiliate them or denigrate them. My issue with him is that the nastiness is just not necessary!

His opinions disliking the photo(s) could be simply expressed in a civilized, decent manner without the insults.

Thank you Puffer and kneehighs for your opinions!

  7. 3/28/2010:

then I headed out, nearly bumping into a trio of teenage girls who went all wide eyed and gasped when they saw me. We locked eyes for a couple of seconds, I stared right at the girls, no nerves, no anxiety, no nothing...and THEY blinked and quietly rushed away from me.

Jeff, you have some of the greatest outings, and fun when doing them! Outfit was great, but the teenage girls thing - you had me roaring!!!

    Thanks for the big smiles!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Sometimes, when I'm lucky.... But given a choice, especially with a 4"+ heel, I'd opt for 10.5 or 11...

And that comment came from someone who can wear a size 11! Hmph!

    Yeah, well.............

But seriously, 20+ years ago, the 11s didn't exist and they only way the heel thing did happen was cram your foot into something too darn small!!!

  9. A guy that I had been working with (he and I were short term contract employees) wore a kilt everyday. I told him that if we got hired for an extended time, I'd join him with a kilt(s)!

Still waiting to see what develops.

  10. Well I shopped at zappos through the computer four days ago and found some awesome boots with a 3" heel and I was wearing them out side today with my jeans and had to to the bank and a 2nd stop to pay a bill and no one said a thing.

Similar to what I just posted in the Boots section except your heel is higher; (wife you know).

  11. I prefer to be served by female assistants, between 25 and 35 years old.

I'm sure female assistants know their heels collection / how they fit much better than male assistants.

I agree with part 1 and would expand the range from 20 to 40, at least from my experience. But I do not necessarily agree with part 2. There was a male sales person in Macy's who knew his stock better than the women! And his service was far better too (shoes for my wife). For myself, I haven't had to ask a male sales person yet although I have had mostly positive experiences with the women.
