  1. Now and past I play the Violin at this date that would be twenty-five years.

I still play the same one I learned on which was vintage when I got it, a Johann Georg Kessler full size with synthetic gut strings.

Classical though I would like to learn to fiddle on it.

I would like to learn the highland bag pipes I gues when your half Scottish (Campbell, Mc Gowen, Gamblin), Welsh and a little Irish it is just in the blood.

  2. In the words of comedian Tim Wilson, "Every time someone kills someone we have to pass alaw to stop him."

This is how oppresive goverments get created. A single crime occures and a group has to form a law to prevent it from happening again. Then others climb on board and add more and more to that law and before long no one knows what the original intent was for.

My self I believe we don't need much more than the bill of rights and the constitution. Yes rape, murder and theft should all be crimes but should the mistreatment or death of an animal carry more weight than the same treatment to a human being? In most cases it does here in the U.S.

Some people want to ban the public display of the ten comandments but these are the basis of law. We constantly add more laws, some of which make no sense what so ever.

I feel a goverment that can declare your ground "Blighted" and take it to hand over to a private developer to make a profit from it is oppresive.

I'm probebly rambling so we'll see where this goes.

  3. I'm a US 12W. The Wide part is the problem, it makes finding things a lot more dificult than it needs to be. Though some places on line do carry them and I have found several pair at Payless as they seem to be carrying more shoes over size 11 lately (even in the store). Maybe it's because of us?
  4. It was pointed out I should make a proper introduction so here we go.

:wave:Hi everyone! I'm glad to have found such a wonderful site. I'll admit I've been watching it for sometime but for some reason found going out in public my heels easyer than logging on like this. Funny what can scare us, is'nt it?

I'm a straight thirty seven year old male living in the backwards suburbs of St. louis so I do have to be careful of where and when I wear anything too obvious. I live with three women, my wife and two daughters. All three are very supportive of me and my choices. I have been known to wear skirts from time to time and in public on Halloween and Mardi Gras. As I mentioned else where I love nylons (hose, tights you get the idea) and feel that heels and tights just go together hence my screen name. Most all of my shoes are women's at this point as well as a large portion of my wardrobe. It's unfortunate though that my job requires a specific wardrobe so I must wear work boots and a uniform everyday for that.

Niether of our families know about my clothing choices as hers just wouldn't understand and mine is VERY homophobic. Fortunatly they all live several hours away at this point.

I enjoy the polite and well mannered conversations on these pages and am sure I will feel at home.

With my introduction made all I have left is to find a suitable avatar which I can assure you will be me!

    Thanks to all.
