  1. There are deals on hotel rooms down here in Orlando. Stick to the International Drive, Downtown (more expensive) and Disney area hotels. There are some bad areas of town you should avoid like Pine Hills, Orange Blossom Trail. Have a good time! Let me know if I can assist you with anything. Been here for 20 years.

  2. I have worn out 2 pairs of heels. A 4" black pump that the heel got loose on after 6-7 years and some white 4.5" pumps with ankle strap and zig-zag cut to the top of the sides. Those actually started peeling patent off of them and the heels got wobbly.

  3. Don't kill me...ok?

My wife dresses to the nines most of the time...has for over 19 years. She has Audrey Hepburns style (think Breakfast at Tiffany's) and looks so much like Betty Page that she has begun modeling as a look-a-like. She loves hats with big bows and you will seldom catch her without her 4" or higher heels. I built her a closet just to store her (and my) heels...over 200 pair (and I have about 60).

I sometimes wonder if my wife attracts people's attention and because I am walking beside her, they then notice my heels. Maybe I would be more stealthy if she was in sweat pants and a t-shirt?

  4. It really does. She knew about my fetish while we were dating. Didn't really feel comfortable wearing heels in front of her for some time. Several years into our marriage, we both had a 'coming out' talk about our desires that took our relationship to the next level. Since then, I wear heels all the time in the house and have about 60 pairs. In the last year, encouraged by all of you on hhplace, I started venturing out in public. Boots that looked totally male (with a 4" block heel) at first and as I gained confidence, I moved to men's style shoes with stiletto 4-5" heels. Still cautious about where I go and I still have apprehension but find myself hoping someone will notice. I would love for a guy or girl to speak with me about my shoes in a positive manner. Has happened a couple of times. I dream of one day being able to wear them all day at work. I really die watching all the beautiful heels walking around our office and I can't participate. It's aggravating to me. Cassie

  5. I love to share shoes with any woman that is game. Last saturday night, a friend was showing me the platform mary janes that someone gave her and they fit her perfectly. She wears a 9-10 so I slipped off my 5" spike heels and tried her's on. Slightly small but wearable. What a charge I get from trying on another person's heels!

  6. I am glad to see more guys heading out of the house in heels. I was very apprehensive at first (and still have moments) but on weekends, I wear them to the mall and to restaurants with my wife. I always wear shoes inspired by men's shoe designs but I refuse to wear anything with less than a 4" heel. I wear both block and stiletto heels with a closed rounded toe and under my long pants (jeans or slacks) they look like men's shoes. I am still in that phase where I worry about how others will react. Never really had a bad experience but I fear someone making a scene. Here is the funny part. We go to TGI Fridays or Smokey Bones and sit in a booth. While walking in, I try to walk so I won't draw undue attention, then, while sitting I find myself crossing my legs and putting my shoe out as if to make people see it. Kinda a game I play in my head. Like I kinda want to be caught. The TGI Fridays we go to sometimes for lunch has an elevated bar area where we sit in tall stools on the corner where people coming up the stairs get a good view of my feet. It is not intentional, just the way it is laid out. I can tell the servers notice my shoes but in the last year, none have ever commented. I almost wish they would so we could talk about heels. My biggest fear is running into someone I know. It has happened once but the girl didn't even notice. My wife encourages me so it really helps. How I long for the day a man can choose the footware of his choice (mine would be strappy spike heels with bows and painted toes) and not have to worry about what society thinks. Cassie

  7. Don't get me wrong. I have tons of strappy heels that I love but I don't feel comfortable wearing them out in public in everyday life. These male inspired styles tend to pass really well under long pants and even when seen, look masculine. Might just be mental but it makes it easier for me to be out-and-about! Cassie

  8. I was on the Nine West site today and found two things I wanted to share...

First, they have a online show like Design Star but for shoe designers called Shoe Star where 7 designers compete for a job at Nine West designing shoes.

Second....Have you seen the NEW DESIGNS coming in September? Several great heels at 4"+ that look like men's designs. I could easily wear these with confidence.

Check the site for the new designs...they say "ships 9/15" in their names.

I attached one of my favorites to this post.

  9. Despite having a high-paying, very satisfying corporate job, I am envious of you. I don't care to work in retail but a job where you can be yourself (no expected behavior) and wear heels all day sounds like heaven to me. I would love to win the lottery so I could move somewhere no one knows the current me, and be the heal-wearing me from the start. Start my own company where all of you can come work in your heals, skirts or whatever makes YOU happy. Keep us up to date. Maybe we can come visit you at work if we are traveling through your area. Cassie

  10. Red Shoes carries everything into the 13 and 14s in many cases. Many of the styles are 'stripper' shoes but they have a large male clientele too. I drop by there everytime I go to Vegas. Cassie

  11. Glad you are out having fun in your heels. I was wearing mine out all over the place for a while but went through a stint where I didn't feel comfortable doing it out (Lots of company and relatives in town and such), but am starting again. Have you discovered the secret of the Macy's shoe sales rack? Forget the sizes...just look for shoes you like in any size. Then, ask the sales associate for the ones you like in your size. They often have most sizes for all the styles on the sale rack. Cassie

  12. My wife likes Red Shoes. Go up the strip to the Stratosphere and turn left. Go until you pass the In-n-Out burger on the right, then look to your left. It is in a strip mall with a costume/corset place and a fetish show (I think it is Lady B's or something like that). I work heels all over vegas in January with no problems. Guy at the Golden Nugget even asked me about my heels and was really positive. I think he wanted to wear them too. CassieJ

  13. Actually, I have less back and ankle problems when I wear 4" heels. I have a lower back problem when I stand very long but in heels, I can go almost twice as long and a little walking clears it up so I can stand again. Guess it is the way I stand with my back straighter in heels. I broke both my ankles years ago and walking on them for long periods causes them to ache. For some reason, they don't if I wear heels. Guess I could tell anyone that objects to my heels in public that it is for medical reasons. Cassie

  14. When I go to the area malls my wife and I always check out the clothes and shoes at Be Be. I have noticed that all the sales girls there wear heels, and high ones at that. I have wondered if they require their sales staff to wear them? They look great and while many would die to think of spending 8+ hours on their feet in 4-5" heels, I would die for the opportunity. Maybe I should go see if they will hire me for extra work on weekends. Would they make me (a guy) wear heels? I will work for free! Cassie

  15. Love stories like this. The only comment I have even had (that wasn't due to a shoe sales transaction) was in Las Vegas when I guy in a casino asked if I was wearing high heels. He seemed to be wanting to wear them too and was happy to see another guy wearing them in public. Few odd looks here and there but most people won't say anything, good or bad. Cassie

  16. It is my wife. We have many more pics from the shoot but many are not for public consumption. The one I posted is tame. The shoot reproduced the Olivia paintings of Bettie Page and it came out really good. The photographer is cleaning up the photos now (dropping out the background, etc...) for her portfolio. If anyone needs a Bettie Page look-a-like, she is available and travels the US. CJ
