  1. The following job opening was advertised in Tennessee: Female Chauffeur Provide transport for ‘nights on the town’, etc. Some of our clients prefer well-dressed female drivers (including driving in heels), hence the posting. We are still working on the exact pay but should be in the $30-$75/hour, depending. We ask that our female drivers drive in high heels and sometimes manual transmissions. Therefore, we are looking for a part-time “model-type” female driver needed to drive customers to desired locations around Memphis. Outgoing personality & knowledge of the Memphis area as well as nightlife. Must be well dressed and be able to wear high heels while driving.

  2. A news story from last year. MANCHESTER (AP) -- A Boston-based U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge has been arrested on a misdemeanor drunken driving charge in New Hampshire. Manchester police said Robert Somma was arrested Wednesday night after his sedan rear-ended a pickup truck stopped at a red light. No one was hurt. MANCHESTER -- A Boston-based federal judge wore a black cocktail dress, fish-net stockings and high heels when police arrested him for drunk driving after he rear-ended a pickup truck last week, sources said. U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Robert Somma, 63, struck a plea deal with the city Wednesday in which he pleaded no contest to a first-offense misdemeanor driving while intoxicated charge in Manchester District Court. In exchange, the judge agreed to pay $600 in fines and penalties. MANCHESTER -- The cross-dressing judge will no longer wear a robe. Robert Somma, the federal bankruptcy judge caught drunk driving in the Queen City, was reconsidering the resignation he tendered after he was arrested in a cocktail dress, fishnet stockings and high heels in February. But the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit announced yesterday that Somma "is leaving to pursue other endeavors."

  3. I found this British news story on the internet. A businesswoman who can no longer wear any of her vast collection of high heels has won the right to a major damages payout. Tina Knight, 66, was unable to work after she slipped in a pool of water at Stansted Airport's baggage reclaim area in July 2005. Ms Knight, from Saffron Walden, Essex, successfully sued cleaners Rentokil Initial Facilities Services at Cambridge county court last June. Yesterday the court of appeal upheld the decision in Ms Knight's favour. Damages will be decided later.

  4. I discovered this two year old story on the internet. A building in Oregon was locked down by police after a security alert was sparked by the sight of a man wearing nothing but a pair of high heels. The medical building, which was virtually empty, was surrounded by police officers after a 911 call tipped them off that a naked guy in high heels was sitting on a bench on the basement floor of the building, in McMinnville, Oregon. The man was described as being balding, or with short white hear, of thin or medium build, and in his forties. The police, however, were unable to apprehend the naked man, who was last seen running down a corridor of the building in his high heels.

  5. roniheels has found a way to get paid to enjoy his favorite hobby. He wears his stiletto heels when he's on the golf course so that he can charge the owners for the aerating service he provides as he progresses through all 18 holes. roniheels only plays golf on sundays. When he is finished, the entire golf course becomes holy! And that's a fact!

  6. It was many years ago when I chose Amtrak for a business trip to New York City. Because I was going to spend one full night aboard the train, I paid for a private single person bedroom. I had brought along my 5" spike heels intending upon enjoying them once I arrived at the hotel. During the night aboard the train, I got the urge to be daring. So I slipped on my heels, pulled down my jeans to cover them as much as possible, then went for a walk through the cars of the train. I paused for a few minutes at the end of the car as I peered out through the window enjoying how I felt taking such a dare. Although most eveyone else was asleep in the sleeping cars, as I ended my walk, I did encounter one porter in the narrow aisles of the car where my room was located. He stood aside as he motioned for me to walk past him. I was afraid that my slightly unstable gait would give away my secret. So I slowly walked the short distance to my room, then ducked inside without having to pass him. What a rush I felt. Another time, I was visiting Chicago. Wearing my 5" spike heel oxfords, I was driving around downtown when I got the urge to do something daring. I decided to go for a walk. Because it was a cold winter evening, after parking my vehicle, I pulled up my collar and pulled down my hat to cover my face as much as possible. I then exited my vehicle, pulled down my jeans a little to cover my heels, then began to walk around the block. I was enjoying my walk so much that I decided to try and cross the street at a very busy intersection. And then it happened. About halfway through the crosswalk, as cars waited for us pedestrians to clear the crosswalk, I broke one of my heels! I froze motionless in the crosswalk and in the glare of vehicle headlights trying to decide what to do. I bent down to pick up the broken heel knowing that my shoes would be completely exposed to pedestrians and drivers. I then hobbled to the curb and eventually made it to my car. What an embarassing experience. After I reached the safety of my car, I realized that since my face was hidden, it really did not matter how many people had seen me since they were all strangers. Well, I hoped at least they were all strangers.

  7. When I go out in public wearing heels, I dress completely en femme for two reasons: it hides my identity, and it adds some excitement. Although I do not consider myself to be passable as a female up close, I think I look good enough. I had only one experience that generated some kind of reaction. It was late one evening. I was dressed en femme, listening to the sounds of my heels against the concrete pavement, while window shopping at a strip mall after closing hours. I heard a wolf whistle come from behind me across the street. When I glanced in that direction, I could see nothing since it was very dark. Since I was the only person visible in the area, I assumed it was directed at me. I got scared thinking they might approach me. So I returned to my car and drove off. To this day, I don't know if they were heckling me or complimenting me.

  8. Start with the shoes in my avatar. Manufacture it in black calfskin. Round the toe. Add a large removable pink bow over the toe area. Also add a small loop in back to slide in a removable 1/2" black ankle strap. That would be my dream pair.

  9. I could not participate in this poll since I have multiple answers. #1 - if it is a delivery man, I slip off the heels and answer. #2 - if it is someone I know and might expect to come inside, I don't answer. #3 - if it is someone who I don't know and would never invite inside, I would either slip off the heels and answer if I were wearing jeans, or leave the heels on and not answer if I were wearing a skirt and hosiery.

  10. Once when crossing the border between the USA and Canada, customs officials searched my trunk where my 6 inch spikes, skirt, pantyhose, tunic and wig were stored among my luggages. Since they made no comments nor asked any questions, I don't know if they saw them or not. Funny thing, but on another occasion, I had my wifes 5 inch spikes in the trunk and they never searched. I was ready to prove they were not mine since she wears a smaller size than I do.

  11. I really believe it depends on the writers intentions. If they want to emphasize that the character is obviously a male dressed as a woman or does not dress like this often, then they are presented as being clumsy or feeling awkward. But if the writers want to fool another character, as well as the audience, they present a very passable person who walks in heels like they have worn them all their lives.

  12. Choosing a style of pants or jeans to cover your heels is dependent upon two basic factors: #1 - how much of the high heel shoes you want exposed #2 - the arch of the high heels shoes If you want the coverage of bellbottoms without them having to be bellbottoms, then you will have to compromise on at least one of the factors I mentioned above. My heels have high arches (5" or 6") so I can wear narrow legged pants/jeans.
