I would say keep on the down low with the adoption agency. As for telling the child, I mean it is still a sensitive topic, it could be hard to explain at first. And take some time for them to accept it. Generally people in my generation are more accepting of almost anything so I wouldn't see it as a big deal.

Would you say Steve Madden's run small or large? I'm devastated that his Hilight shoe only goes to size10...

They've got an awesome selection! I love Nordstrom I just don't if I can spend $150 on some of them, although they are SO nice. My Pleaser Domina's are size 12 so I could probably fit comfortably into an 11. I think I'd have to try them on in store to see

About 1/4 of my collection (~12-15 pair) consists of high heel wedge 'booties', wedge hiking boots, and wedge sneakers that are similar to the ones you have pictured.

Does that mean you have over 40 pairs of heels!? That's incredible! I'm sure anything is more comfortable than my Domina 420's haha. Anyways those boots are still very nice. What height are they?

I don't think what you mentioned is too much. Although I'm not quite going for the look, I do try to push the envelope of what I wear. I'm not much to talk since I've never worn my heels in public, but I feel like I'm getting there. The worst I've done is extremely skinny jeans with Underarmour underwear beneath and a windbreaker on top. But like I said I'm trying to push the envelope in a slow process. Nothing is too much. Well maybe in some extreme circumstances, but otherwise I'm an open minded person and feel what you mentioned wouldn't be a shock to me or anything.

So I was thinking of maybe buying a 2nd pair of heels. The pair I own now I'd probably never wear in public but looking at these http://www.riverisla...igh-tops-633284 made me a little more, I guess hopeful? Of doing so.

But curious, does anyone own wedge high tops? They seem like they'd be comfy as I do own a pair of regular high tops. And like wearing them in public, what do you think? The heel maybe a little too high for now but do you think it would be something that could easily be unnoticed?

Unfortunately I'm not from the UK. I can't seem to find US retailers that have a wide selection of these. Then challenge #2 would be finding the right size...

As for me, I'm becoming more open about my fashion sense. I own a pair of Pleaser Domina 420's (hence the name) but I don't wear them in public since they are about 5½ inches tall. I can walk in them decently but for now I'm still insecure about my high heels being a guy. So I'd love to talk to some people and listen to some stories or anything of the sort. Being on a site like this is probably going to make me more comfortable.
