    Hey! Lvemadomina,

There are 6" heels and then there are 6" heels. Try not to get those that are only straight slopes from the back of the heel to the toe box. It's better when the slope curves toward and under your arch for some support. Like TBG said to be sure your ankles are ready, you may have to make periodic attempts wearing them - each time to be longer than the previous, until you build the proper familiarity and strength.

Have you looked at some 16cm heels that are made in China? It's called ForeverHeels.com out of Toronto, Canada. They have an ordering process that lets you select the heel height, style, size, color, texture, accessories, and with or without platforms for various pumps and boots. The prices seemed reasonable, but the manufacturing and delivery time can seem like forever.

You know, I did look at that site, there are Sooooooo many options! I just don't like how you can't see like a preview of what they'd look like. I'm just not sure if I want to spend several hundred dollars just yet.

Have you ordered from there? How is the sizing? And in terms of taking forever, don't they have to make it after they receive the order and then ship it out?

  2. Hi everyone!! I haven't posted in forever, but I'm thinking about doing what most would call crazy and that's buying extreme heels.

I'm asking if anyone knows good, reasonably priced brands that sell shoes like the devious scream shoe.

Devious and Pleaser are the only ones that I know of...I'm probably going to buy the scream if I can't find anything else out there. And if there's retailers that I could go to in store to try/buy a pair that'd be even better!

  3. How about pumps ? Where did that name come from ?

I believe "pumps" came around because of the sound they made when people walked in them? Like it had to do with the sound of your foot moving around a bit in the shoe, much like the mechanical movement inside a waterpump. This might sound weird, I knew it was something to do with that though, I may not be explaining it clearly enough.

  4. @Lvemadomina:

If you look at how women normally dress up when wearing leggings, they often wear long-shirts that flare out at the bottom and might be a bit longer (hard to see on your pic).

It's also important that if it's really a leggings without any closing/fly in the front, the shirt should be long enough to cover the crotch area - even in women's clothing, this is an unwritten rule.

So... you definitely got the figure to pull off the outfit, but I would choose a shirt that is tapered in the middle, but flares out a bit more at the bottom. Yes - that's VERY hard to find if you don't want to take a female shirt, as male "narrow" or "modern" cut shirts don't flare out at the bottom, but stay narrow throughout the whole shirt.

All in all a nice outfit !

Exactly FS75 - A tunic top or a long t-shirt with leggings/jeggings and even skinny jeans is a look i go for often.  Back when i still had male clothes, i could not find many things in that side of the store that fit that description. H&M in the US is starting to do more feminine men's wear and that includes tunic type tops.

Thanks both of you! The shirt is still a mens and it covers like half of that area, I've actually seen ASOS having men's "longline" shirts they're called and I hope they catch on so I can have a better excuse to wear leggings! ^_^

  5. The photo is hard to see because of the glare, but you have a slim figure and the leggings and long shirt look good on you. I assume the red shoes are stilettos and they complement the outfit well. I bet you could pull it off going public and few people would notice, since it looks well put together. If your avatar photo is you, most people would never know you're a male.

    Steve

Thank you Steve, and yes the avatar is me :) I'm somewhat glad to hear I'm passable ^_^

  6. Thanks robbiehhw! I honestly just want to wear what I want to wear, no questions asked. I met a girl online who is literally excited that I wear heels, so, another person knows. I'm thinking about getting a skater skirt and a second pair of heels already. I'll post pics tomorrow.

That's amazing! I have several lady friends online that feel the same way. Good for you for building your confidence, the internet can be wonderful for strengthening self-esteem :)

  7. The Today show and Good Morning America both have "interesting" shoe shots.  And of course there is always the Price is Right for later. :)

YES GMA!!! I saw Robin wearing Valentino RockStud heels the other day!!!!! And I think Lara? She has the cutest pumps on all the time!

  8. Hello all,

I am going to check in with you all. I would like to just say I think I've gone bonkers. I say this because I can not stop having bad dreams, I feel insane. Dreams about the shoes above and all general heels, it is tearing me apart, psychologically. I do not know how to end this madness, even if I told my parents, since they don't even approve of a transgender fly. This will be the death of me eventually if I don't get the help...

You're not bonkers, I have dreams like this ALL THE TIME! I have ones where I have massive shoe collections and they find it or I'm caught wearing heels and get an extremely negative response. It's normal, it's just because of what's going on now and it's a natural psychological reaction to stress...

Talk to me if you need me okay?

  9. Here is my deal of the day.  I picked these up today at Winners for those that live in Canada.  The brand is Ivanka Trump.  The model is Kaylynns.  The material is a suede design with a metallic alligator like toe.  These ones are red but they have other colors.  The heel itself is 4.5 inches with no platform.  The shoes fit very well if not on the larger side.  Some people mght be able to go down half a size compared to what they normally wear.  And now for the price!

The tag said comapre at close to $200.  Seemed right for a shoe with Ivakas name on it.  Winners was selling them for just under $100.  But now they were on clearance.  I picked these up for $20!  When I got home I did some online research to find the real deal on these shoes.  They indeed retail for close to $200.  and the cheapest online I found was around $100.  Not bad for the $20 I paid.  Can't wait to try them out and about.

Wow....90% off!? What a deal! ^_^ Those are elegant!

  10. Messenger bags are not a big deal for men to wear, so I would say don't worry so much about wearing that. But based off of your style tastes from Pinterest I'd say the skirt and heels look good. I think if you look on ASOS they do have men's skirts sort of, but I forget how much they are cause ASOS can either have stuff for <$30 or >$300 lol.

  11. I almost typed Talk Shoes haha, that's because I was wondering... I never have good topic ideas, but whenever you watch talk shows on TV, do you ever hope for a female guest to be featured on the show just to see their shoes while the host talks to them? I mean I'm always curious to see what designer brand they're wearing. This is kind of a weird question but I was wondering if I'm the only one out there haha.

  12. This was the most nerve racking question I had for myself when I bought my first heels...

Also are those Bumper Elle-10's? Cause I've been looking at those for a while!

Anyways, I could suggest ordering them and hoping they arrive if there's a day that you're home by yourself. But those chances are VERY unlikely unless you're home alone a lot. I've been lucky to have that happen only once. Do your parents respect your privacy at all? They might just put the package in your room or something and not even bat an eye, but I don't know with that option because I'm not your parents haha. That usually only works if you order a lot of stuff online.

The last thing I can think of really is if you're ordering from a site that isn't restricted to female customers (Like amazon or something) is you can order the shoes and something that you like as well. The +is sometimes, especially with amazon, you can try to coordinate the order so that they put it all in one package. So if your parents ask you, you just say "Oh I got a new shirt, but I don't why they put it in such a large package" The -is that you have to spend more money :-?

Also don't forget if you do order them though, go 2 sizes up for Women's US! I know a couple people mentioned that already but seriously, that's another thing that sucks, is getting a size that doesn't fit

If you have any questions, you have my Pinterest :giggle:

  13. Just got a shirt from there, and I'm very pleased with it. I only spent like maybe $7. If you buy clothing, size up by a factor of 2. I'm a Medium and went with a Large, it feels very fitted, and XL wouldn't have hurt but I'll totally wear it.

I see lots of "Fauxboutins" on there haha. And eyeing those cuties up.

  14. Rainy day today, so I couldn't take a photo on my balcony.

I bought a leather leggings from Balenciaga back in June 2014 and never managed to find the time to shorten it, which I finally did this morning.

Personally, I always wanted to go out and about in an "all leather" outfit at some point in time (similar to this one), meaning biker jacket, leather leggings and cool heels. Okay... I didn't put on a biker jacket, but the leggings + wedges alone push the envelope very much IMHO.

Funny and at the same time disturbing: Nobody really cared - as always these days in a big city.

Wedges by Jil Sander, Leather Leggings by Balenciaga, Turtleneck sweater by a no-name online retailer, Dufflecoat by Burberry.

WOWOWOWOW! That outfit is amazing, everything is perfect with it!!!!!!!!

  15. I was just at the Philly Auto Show recently and definitely approve this thread! The Subaru ladies had the best outfits I think, but they were in flats =/ I was asking them about the Crosstrek and Legacy.

All the Luxury cars were obviously the best ones, Kinda like you said Mercedes. The Fiat ones had some high heels on too. I didn't have the nerve to talk about their shoes though. I would have definitely loved to.
