  1. Well, it's never happened to me personally. Being transsexual, I'm sure some people know. Or do I just blend in. Women will come up to me and tell me I'm beautiful. It is because I'm beautiful and trans, or just beautiful. Any advise I could give, is wear whatever you want. But expect some negative attention, just like women experience.  People stare because the uniqueness or jealousy.

And from this guy's perspective, I'd rather see a lady in a pair of heels she can walk in - gracefully and (at least) reasonably comfortably.  She will be more willing to wear them more often and for longer periods of time rather than rushing to get them off her feet because she can;t stand it any longer.  So more power to you Carherine!

    Thank you.

    Rick24,

I think the members posting before me have exactly made the point. They don't so much treat me as if I were one of them rather they simply relate better to me as they seem the usual psychological (and testosterone-infused) dynamic is not there so there is an increased sense of comfort. None of us heel-loving guys can know what trials of menstruation, or actual gender harassment, or the all the special crap actual women have to go through every time they want to want to travel and make sure they don't do it alone unless it is to work in daylight. But yes, women certainly seem to be generally much more helpful and receptive to us heel-wearing guys. The ones who aren't so obviously receptive do just enough in a retail environment as to not be seen as rude. A sale is a sale in the final analysis.  You will always get better service if you are honest and confident at the same time my friend.  HappyinHeels

Well, I think it's refreshing that's some guys want to put some effort into your presentation. It's not just for us ladies, I think everybody should care enough about themselves to look nice and approachable. I'm all for it. Why should women have all the fun. More power to you. Us ladies stole all from the male wordrobe throughout history. Time for the guys to take a little back.

What a diverse performing group: three pair of great boots and one barefoot.  There is a fashion rule about shoes and purse matching... looks like this should be expanded to boots and guitar matching.

@Carherinedo  you aspire to the awesome look Nancy Wilson presents on stage?

Of course! She was too cool for school. I see her not only as a fashion icon, but as a strong woman. I'm sure we all get Inspirations from others, but we can also get bits and pieces of it, and find our own style. For me, I've always loved knee high boots with dresses.

its very interesting. Should the guitar match the boots? I'm not sure. But j think it would be a great idea.

  5. Jeff, you look totally natural in these pics. I actually cant see any difference in gender in terms of clothes. This is probably what wearing clothes centuries ago was like. For someone life me who really likes fashion, this is really something special. You're doing something the top designers are pushing in the major design houses. If I passed you on the street, I would have to look twice, because your boots are just so amazing.

  6. I play music at church. So have to dress to impress, so to speak. I always wear a nice dress. I wear 3 or 4" heels. Well, my comfortable herls(if there's such a thing). It's probably no different from driving a car in heels. I play rock and ballads mostly. Heels are something I don't really think about. I love them, but I wear them usually every day. They make me feel special, and of course feminine. I I wear running shoes at some event where others are dressed up, I feel unkept.
